I kinda raged-watched it. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from a name like "Brother Conflict," but the more she made it clear that she wasn't into them and they just weren't getting it, the more I started rage-watching it hoping they'd get the hint and at least have the decency to befriend her properly and _try_ to respect her boundaries, but _no,_ the insist on pushing. I had no idea there were OVAs, and now I need to decide if I want to put myself through more suffering to rewatch 'cause I remember very little or just skip to the OVAs. Probably rewatch first. And certainly not in Dub - the secondhand shame would kill me first.

I just realized if this show had done something like where Ema lost her home/family and her classmate took her in they could have totally avoided the whole- actual siblings thing. And she could still want to be considered a “sister” but the brothers don’t see her that way.
I mean- it doesn’t save the show’s bad writing or how toxic a majority of the boys are but at least it wouldn’t be sweet home alabama…
I was literally thinking to myself the other day: what if instead of her being an adoptive daughter/step sister, she was just a regular girl that had to move due to her father always going in business trips (he’s barely seen in the anime anyway lol) and so she had to move to a condo or something and the brothers just so happened to be her neighbours, and this way the brothers could all still be brothers cause then it would create more of a rivalry between them tryna fight for ema WITHOUT IT BEING INCEST. would be a much better plot tbh.

You know, if you go onto the wiki for this series (Yes, it has a wiki, look it up) everything is made SO MUCH WORSE when you know how old some of these guys are. For example, Fuuto is 15 years old and says and does some creepy shit. Mean while Ukyo is 29. With Ema being 17 it puts everything into a certain perspective. My main take away is that Otome games are wild as hell and it's videos like these that help point that out in some capacity lol.

But then after 4 years started baby popping again like subaru, then after 2 years Iori, after 1 year yusuke, then again 2 years Fuuto, then a longer break(5years) then the child like calm down woman💀 the real mad women is her
