I was just on Little Poe Rd. today. It’s typically open for hunting season from late September to mid-January. My favorite trail in Bald Eagle. Next time you’re up there try the power line trail from Jones Mountain Road to 192…you’ll like that one.
@@DarksideOffRoadlol it’s not a dead end I took my 4Runner through there multiple times it’s actually allowed at the other end after the water crossing there’s a sign for “hightop trail” 😂 I know you wouldn’t want to take your jeeps down ther💀😂
@@3rdgen4r it’s legally a dead end. While I won’t dispute a vehicle can make it through and out over the water crossing, BESF officially has stated and published that the trail designation changes to an equestrian/ hiking trail (unfortunately for them confusingly wide enough for a vehicle still) at the mid point. They also have this poorly marked for it being something they want to make so official. Everyone can do as they please, I take the cautious approach and stick to what Gaia and the BESF Facebook page say.
Nice video. I was bummed to see you guys didn't push on through High Top. It does not dead end but it does get a little tight in places. Entering from the other end makes it a bit easier. Yeah, I kept wondering why Little Poe Rd. gate was open too. They closed it now.
I need to check out this and Allegheny. Nice to see someone local exploring the areas. I've been to bhm, flex rock, and moose river. Always looking to explore more
The gate was open for little Poe road this past weekend but had a sign on it for dual sport trail , Are dual sport trails open to all motorized vehicles? Thanks in advance for the help , safe travels , Joe
@@DarksideOffRoad I'm going to try that next time. I only dropped to 25psi and still was bouncing around. Of course I'm driving a 3rd gen 4Runner on load range e tires, so I'm really always bouncing around no matter what
Is little poe road and Poe paddy drive doable with a 2021 outback with x-mode you think? I’m confident my ‘97 Tahoe with big ol ATs can handle it, but I’m curious about clearance for my friend’s Subaru.
Little Poe is seasonal and likely closed for the summer. With some good line choices it’d be fine though. Poe paddy is easy, we took an Explorer on it the fall before in an earlier video.
Another awesome video man! those trails look sweet! Awesome drone shots too! Me and my pup just got into overland camping out of my truck! You'll have to check it out on my channel! Keep up with the sweet content!

Awesome! I'll make a note. I'm due to get back there next year I think.
Great video Tim!
Thanks brother! 🤘
Good to know High Top Trail is in fact a dead end.
Yeah it does “continue” but gets quite tight and passes through private property. It would benefit the forest to have a sign at that point 🤷♂️

No way!? We stopped there because we thought that trail was the tight spot to get back down to Swift. 😩 well there’s always next time!
This is awesome. I live up in Rochester and I never there was this much off roading in the area.
Yeah State College is basically just as close as the ADK with better options 🙌
Dude great stuff! Love watching your videos.
Thanks for coming along for the ride! 🙏
Been all over BESF and I never ever see any wildlife! Lucky!👍🏻
Gotta love when it happens!
What an adventure! Looks like a lot of fun. The editing + camerawork are smoother and a lot of fun to watch.
Thanks for watching. Appreciate it!

Bald Eagle is the best Forest in the area with access to adventure by far. Worth the trip!

It’s mapped as a forest road. Although recently there was a down tree limiting height on it, haven’t heard if it’s been cleared yet.
Do yall need an extra explorer 😅
beware of sasquatch
Great video, and looking forward to part 2 and 3! I was on Henstep yesterday, what PSI are you airing down to? The initial rocky part is brutal...
Henstep was almost boring it was so dry! 😅 I run 20psi in the forest since there’s some 25mph roads mixed in.

What area do you enter from/the spot you aired down?
That’s Locust Ridge Road
