yep. while growin up during the 70's and 80's every one tried getting me married. (including my mom) so glad i did not take anyones advice.
If youre bisexual... (like me) you got options too... on the other hand ive read experiences from both men and women that havent had the best of partners, and even went as far as financially ruining them, said they met people from the same sex for companionship, not neccesarily an intimate relationship but more or less companionship, where both parties where happy together because they dint feel that aspect of being lonely in an aprtment or a big house anymore, and the interest of both partners did not lie in bed but rather everyday tasks and chores splitting the work in half such as washing clothes or making food or organizing stuff.
Companionship where both parties involved actually cared more about having a roof over their head then cheating someone out of cash, like one of your Best friends forever

Im 23 about to turn 24 in just over a month. I have a solid job with a very good income. I have had my own house since i was 20. I have multiple nice vehicles and i keep a clean house and im a damn good cook. I have yet to meet any woman that can bring anything to the table that i dont already have. I will never marry because i know the risk outweighs the benefits 1000 to 1.

This is the unfortunate reality of western society, I remember a story about a women (a teacher) in *Pennsylvania* was having sex with 1 of her students (this is a 7th grade teacher) & she got pregnant, actually took the boy's family to court to demand *Child Support* from the boy she basically *RAPED,* and the courts gave it to her....
So even when a women does predatory sexual crimes against a minor, as *long as the minor was a little boy / not a little girl,* he is financially responsible for her crime, and forced to pay her for 18 years for his child. Even though *HE himself is still a child!!*

I have spent easily the last decade eating almost entirely from one single pan that I think is older than I am. My mom used it all while I was growing up, and I took it as my own. It's never let me down. Invest in your kitchenware like you would your tools.

This is a very astute comment! My parents were old school and traditional. My sisters were taught by my mom to do all the domestic duties of the house and me and my brothers were never shown how to do any of that. So, when the male members of the litter failed to find a successful long term relationship, we all struggled to learn all those things. Now its second nature to be the housekeeper.

Irony... It was my mother, who passed away earlier this year, who taught me everything to be independent and self sufficient. How to be clean and presentable, how to do laundry, iron and how to use a sewing machine! To cook, meats, fishes, vegetables. As a kid she use to take me food shopping ,how to choose ripest, tastiest, sweetest fruits and vegetables.
She always said ‘there’s a lot of women out there that just you for your money and will bleed you dry then leave you with nothing so be very careful who you choose to spend the rest of your life with’ but she use to repeatedly say this to me....’you should not need a woman to live’!

I learned cooking from my dad who learned from my grandma....I love cooking and I didn't realize just how many women couldn't cook untili started showing my pictures and they were all like I wish I could cook like that.
Same, I had 6 girlfriends in the past, I was always the best cook.
Women today see abandoning traditional roles as "freeing", so they do not learn. The attitude is household affairs need to be shared, but zero effort is made, and when I was married we went to counseling and I heard all about how I didn't do enough around the house. Well I cooked, I was the one who kept the bathrooms clean, and she would insist on mowing the lawn and shoveling the snow (which was nice in a way, but taking away the traditional male chores and blaming me for never mopping.....), it was pretty crazy. The best today is the marriage where both work and they have children. I've seen how those starved for attention from mom and dad kids grow up.
Im 61 and never married. Have no regrets. Meanwhile my married friends are miserable

I said 20 years ago that the best parts of a woman can be enjoyed on an elevator ride. I step in, she and I make eye contact and perhaps smile. Perhaps exchange “Hello” or other pleasantries. I smell her perfume and give a sideways scan of her figure and dress. One of us exits and we avoid any unpleasantries or drama that might come with longer contact. As an English teacher, I married an Asian girl who over time has lost that loving feeling. At the start though on our third night of being married I was in the kitchen when she came in and said this was her domain and kicked me out saying that she would cook because I didn’t know how. Five years later I was searching through files for a diploma so I could apply for a job when my wife noticed one of the my qualification certificates I had. She started screaming at me because she assumed that I couldn’t cook. The fact that I had. City and Guilds 12&3 really pissed her off. I said most guys are taught how to cook by their moms from my generation and in fact we can also do all of the thing that traditional thing women could do. Big mistake. After that she got lazy and just said that I could do it all so go and do it. Since she had a masters in teaching, I said okay go get a job. Now I stay at home and look after our two boys 15 and 12 and she works a 50 hour week. 😂 suits me fine.
