These are building into a great archive for engaging with the game.
I started building a treehouse, and been wondering how I would get water to my plants. So this was helpful.

When I clicked this video I expected it to have bad audio if any and the tutorial to be garbage. Instead, It was a beautiful video and an excellent tutorial. Professional quality. 9/10. You deserve more subs.

As a genuine noob (< 2 months) I have to say that whilst I had already figured out water from other less beginner oriented tutorials (this is easier to follow) I still hadn't got around to electricity, and this has completely changed that aspect of my game. Within 2 days of watching it I have enough cables and outlets in my base that I can literally place any powered item down anywhere and it finds an outlet to connect to and shows as powered right away. Its actually much easier than the water where you have to snap exactly to a pipe.
Also I think its great that you are doing this in vanilla as most noobs do, and I beleive console players have to?
It is obvious from comments that a few people have already found mods like SS which make some of this easier, I'm so glad to have found it and to play on a platform where I can use it, but fully endorse your approach of not using mods for these tutorials.
Do you have plans to do an episode to explain mods at a future date, for those are inevitably going to branch off down that route, even if the main series continues without any?
Having said that this is easier to follow than other tutorials, if you are trying to build a base far from water, or are really struggling to run pipes up a cliff or something, I would recommend also checking out Complete Games Ark water tower guide video for a neat way of using the reservoirs.
I love complete games, really helpful content! I would happily make a tutorial towards the end of the series looking at mods like SS and Awesome Spyglass. Maybe a 'Top 5 beginner mods' or something like that.

You should also turn the 4 way water pipes to straight pipes and just switch them when need
I went and tidied the pipes up further after this video, and did just that!
Been playing for about a month. And holy this can be hard, just started a farm and kibble, no greenhouse cause I can't even leave the beach lol

i just fought a massive dino (like a rex but MANY times bigger) tried taming it and it started torpor running (i suck at this game and i was excited and proud) and then i chased it (mistake) it then killed me and when i got back… it killed my favorite bird and i feel like throwing up.
we also had just finished killing an alpha carno togather (had soo much prime meat)
i just wish tamed dinos knew when to run in this game
Sounds like that could have been a Giga or Carcha. It is possible to set Dinos to flee upon attack through their behaviour wheel (I forget the whistle shortcut because I don't tend to use it). The issue with this is your tame would need to be faster than the predator.
How did you managed to increase the maximum of engram points?
Everyone you level up you gain engram points. If you're playing solo you will need to spend your points wisely in the beginning, but later it's possible to craft and consume a mindwipe tonic which will reset your engram points

4k hours in & I still hate having to set up vanilla water & power. MODS FTW!!!!
Which mods do you recommend to make QoL better? I'm trying to get back into Ark

What all settings do you have
I'm away from home at the moment so would need to check my PC, but off the top of my head the main settings were gather and XP x2, taming x5, breeding x20 (for context on breeding it would take 9 hours to raise a T Rex with these settings)

Little late to watch this but am i the only one who cant place them underground?
In order to place them underground you will need to have the structure clipping setting turned on.
