I am an Infp and introverted feeling is a wonderful cognitive function, but it does tend to make one more individualistic and a bit prone to being self absorbed. Bc we are more conscious of our selves than we are of others.
This is a masterpiece ! It really puts into perspective the inner battle and is way more interesting than bland behavioural/personnality description videos that tell you to move your ass :) It's great and I'm glad I found this channel ☺️ MBTI started to make me depressed instead of helping me and now I feel like learning again Thanks, you are radiant OMG ✨
This... is some of the most insightful content on YT. The ISTJ "encyclopedia-like" way of referencing the video is also damn impressive. One well developed ENFP! (Blog is snazzy too;)
Thank you so much Good Day Gene!! It makes me so glad to know that people are finding my content useful 🧡☺️ You've made my day!! Thank you for watching... and reading!!
Thank you for your comment, Erika 😃🎊 Yes, the rest of the cognitive functions shall be interviewed, too. I'm being my ENFP-self 🤪 A bit scattered, haha! Thank you so much for watching!!!
Man....6:00 - 6:22...I've been going through this lately, from some people. I think they dismiss me because I usually don't talk about my feelings like that. Then I'm like, "ok nope...I'll just deal with my feelings by my lonesome, like usual." (Enfp).
It's tough... I feel you... But I've realised, personally, that sometimes I kind of dump my feelings on people (because I'm uncomfortable. So, I don't take the time to introduce the matter properly) and because of that, they don't get that it's very important to me. That's why they don't react the way I expect them to. I don't know if that speaks to you, as well... Sometimes, people are also just not cool... 💪 I hope you are fine 💪
Thank you for this video!❤now i can understand fi function better and i convince i've always been an infp. Though lately, i feel like unhealthy person and can't get out of that 'dark side' phase.
Seriously genious. I am astounded at the level of information gathered into such cohesive and entertaining, intellectually tangible role play. Hopefully others watching will understand these extremes of functions will vary per function, depending on how a person lets the functions balance each other.
Thank you! Yes, it is a series! I'm just really slow at posting 🙈 but doing my best! Here's the playlist with the already existing videos :) th-cam.com/play/PLjMT31hlhE7Dlp8BpjiVkC9LR7XrqQoR5.html
Just stumbled across this in my search to find decent descriptions of Fi on TH-cam. This is definitely one of the good ones. Interesting idea that bad things happen when the ego becomes the source of values and feelings instead of the unconscious. Do you mean when Te takes over the role from Fi and we end up in a Te 'grip', or some other process?
I stuck with Carl Jung's definition of what happens when the Fi type is led by the ego. I think it's what happens when we get into a Te grip. However, Thomsen, the creator of the grip theory didn't explain it that way :) She didn't go into details about the psyche.
I’ve been typed infp. I feel like I use Ti and not Te though. Would that make sense? I can’t organize or prioritize for anything but I can dig in to understand something I care about at it’s core. Even once I do that it’s like pulling teeth to try to organize all that for anyone else. I abhor and purposely ignore structure and schedules but my habits are pretty consistent (I didn’t say healthy). It seems odd to me that my Ti would be more demonic than my Te.
That's very interesting! Do you actually feel like Fi is your dominant function, though? Your Ti seems well developed and it seems like you enjoy using it (?). It doesn't sound like an inferior (last function in the stack) function to me? Could you be an INTP? I'm saying this solely based on this comment, I don't have the full picture :)
@@Ennpey I don’t think I use Fi but I can absolutely see how other people would believe I do. I’d love to chat/email with you about it - I sent you a message through your blog!
Dario Nardis test keys2cognition puts procentage on how devloped your F(cog) are, and as far as I know, Fi, Ne, Ti, Ni as the four most developed functions is not that rear for INFPs. Also Socionics has some good exponationes for this.
I really don't want to offend any introverted feeler (I'm one myself), but recently I've been thinking about how useless Fi is. It's only my opinion, which I propably came out with quite blindly, and also I'm kind of manifesting my distance by this. What does Fi have that other cognitive functions lack? Is it really as important as the rest? And it wasn't a rhetorical question - seriously, please give me some examples :/ But the video was awesome!! 💚
Hello Zofia :) Fi is very important. As your Introverted judging function, it's the function that helps you define how 'you' feel about things. It's the function that helps you have a personal opinion and help you define who you are. You should use Fi to judge yourself and Te to judge the outside world and decide what to do in the outside world. Both balance out your mind. Does this help? :)
Hi, I am an INFJ, so i don't even have Fi in my stack. However, I was going through heavy depression in my youth (result of trauma) and my therapist was the most obvious case of INFP you could present. Fi is all about emotional authenticity, not only for themselves, but making a room for others to be emotional vulnerable and finding their authentic self. I don't think another Fe-user could have done that the same way. As Fe-user myself, I really felt her deep empathy when I opened up and that was so healing. I never would have done it without her, I had been to other therapists before for a short time and this INFP-ness was exactly what I needed to heal.
@@Roxaho thank you. Surely it is a great trait, perhaps I just don't have many people to heal this way in my immediate environment, and so I don't realize this strength of mine in day-to-day life. I hope you're doing fine now, by the way! Sometimes I really wish I was an INFJ (yeah, I know - typical), because to me, it's an unique combination of complete individuality (Ni) and stuff that you can actually share with people (Fe) - it's just balanced, whereas my leading functions just revolve around me. Such an IxxP thing. So appreciate yourself vicariously! :)

I'm afraid that Fi is actually a part of the ego , so you might want to correct your claim.
