On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. The way the f22 and su57 seem to fall through the air like autumn leaves really reminds me of early biplanes and triplanes. They just tumble.

I love how the Raptor actually flies like we thought all fighter jets did when we were young.
It looked like the Su-30 stopped flaring for a moment, and then started again, before it suicided. I think his own missile was triggered by his own flare. How bizarre.

These fights look soooo stunning from 3rd person view. Both aircraft can do such incredible maneuvers that it's even hard to believe.
@@lukeingram7655 Go and watch an airshow with the raptor, keep in mind that pilots also don't show the plane's full capabilities.
@@dimitariliyanov3680 The RollRate and YawRate are definitely not correct on either one of the aircraft. The Sukhoi should have way superior low speed rates in both of the axis compared to the F-22. I doesn't matter how good your control surfaces are at low speed if the other can rotate the thurst vector in all directions.

I have personally seen with my own eyes two F-22s mock dogfight (non airshow) in ways that completely defy physics. This Sim doesn't even come close, to an accurate representation of what I witnessed.

Sometimes I wonder what the Wright brothers would think of these 5th Gen fighters.
The F-22 is holding a great dogfight in air superiority (beside the Mirage and the Felon) but even certain aircraft can't compete with the F-22 Raptor capabilities.
Maybe one day in the future we'll see an aircraft is promised to keep up a formidable performance, nice play GS.
That Su-30 did surprisingly well considering what it's opponent was.
The F-22 is considered dead in this mess. He has no chance. He can only launch rockets from afar. I think in a real massacre, for many there will be a severe sobering up.

Once again, I'm amazed by DCS as in order to have that missile malfunction and detonate on his own wing....someone had to intentionally create that malfunction system or develop a set of systems where the missile can independently make its own decisions with the possibility that it may once in a great while, make a poor choice.

Meh prop vs jet fights always end the same, Prop more manouverable in the horizzontal but looses energy too quickly, jet is unbeatable if it goes vertical

I know a pilot who actually shot an f22 with a su30mki in an exercise btn Indian and American armed forces some months back. Not once but thrice in a row. I even know the American pilot who was flying the f22. We three are good friends

The SU seems to be partial to a flat spin when pushing it too hard which was its downfall on a couple of occasions.
Never saw a missile do the "self destruct" before. I can only assume the missile reacted on the flaring.
The F-22 is so advanced it can fool enemy missiles into exploding the enemy aircraft as soon as the enemy launches it’s missile

I think the flare being so close to the missle at launch is what triggered it.

Pretty sure the flares somehow confused the missile in the first self kill, the heat from the flare i think somehow set the missile off.

Dude I loved the formation merge you did that is major respect for the other pilot. i remember that a lot of times in WW2 dogfights that would be a strong sign of respect for pilots who fight.
Supposedly speed is life, and in the first round the Sukhoi had none of it before impact. Hence, life was taken.

I don't know what you're on about. First of all, the f22 does not have tvc modelled, nothing in dcs does. Second, the f22 is always on fcs override in every single gs dogfight.
