- Hi everyone! Today's video is a BASE GAME BUILD IDEAS no cc and no mods in the sims 4 , purely base game using debug and live edit objects. This is a Sims 4 BASE GAME tutorial and I hope you can find some building ideas, some Sims 4 interior ideas and some new tips and tricks in the Sims 4.
In this BASE GAME BUILD IDEAS video we are gonna build a functional fire pit and an outdoor fireplace, tall wall entryway arches, build in cabinets for the family room, a custom bed using gallery art and some modern custom plant pots.
All base game and all functional.

How to download houses from TSR:
- follow the link for the house or the link to my TSR profile
- download the house (zipped file)
- unzip the file and add all the files to your Sims4/Tray folder
- the house will be in your ingame library

@@nat237uk3 Do tell whos ideas I am stealing. These build ideas are based on a house I build and I really liked them so I thought I would break them down in a separate video. There are a lot of sims builders out there and a lot of them do tutorials as well. It is impossible to keep up with each builder and pretty much everything has already been done and build. When I use other people's ideas I credit them in the description (for example my Eco Modern house I used Simstopias idea of chairs as pillows and I linked her tutorial in the description). But let's break it down shall we:
1. Outdoor fire pit - haven't seen it anywhere but I'm pretty sure its been done
2. Outdoor fireplace - pretty much every sims builder is doing this. Shrinking down fireplaces and making their own unique ones
3. Tall wall arches - I wanted a tall wall but the arches we have ingame don't go all the way up so I made my own. Has it been done before? Probably.
4. Turned around cabinets - every builder is doing this rn, I am just showing how I did that particular room from the house
5. Custom bed - again, its quite a trend amount builders right now using vents and debug items to create custom furniture, I am just following that trend. Who came up with it? No idea, since everyone is doing this
6. Custom plant pots - haven't seen it anywhere before.
It's impossible to know who came upon with what first like I said there are many many builders doing amazing builds and coming up with amazing ideas.
@@SummerrplaysSims Exactly! The firepit was pretty cool. The archway I totally agree. Hate to have tall walls and tiny archways...And I loved the pots for plants as well. Don't see anything is stealing... sad that someone had to comment that. The sims is all about creativity. They would not have the gallery If people would not want to share... And let's face it...we do not have enough cool items in the game so I thank these people sharing their ideas so that we can have pretty houses too. Thank you for sharing your ideas! 😍🤗

Another idea for the bed frame, Put shelves above where your sims head goes and decorate with plants, books ect. This is more for console since console doesn't have the columns and those shelf things in DEBUG. 😊 (I don't know if this has been done before, but it probobly has)

I'm always so annoyed cause the entry frames we do have aren't tall enough for tall walls so this works well. So that one is my fave. I'm really glad you liked them ❤

Thank you, I'm really happy you liked it! This is all really from just the one house, I loved it so much and I wanted a separate video to show how I did it. Most is from wanting things that are not ingame or they are not base game (this was for a base game home) - like the tall wall arches or the outdoor fire pit or the plant pots. I also get inspired by other builders and right now its quite a trend to make your own items and combine items to make new ones. Like the outdoor fireplace - I'm not sure who came up with shrinking down a fireplace and making your own, but everyone is doing it 😊🥰
@@SummerrplaysSims love how you don't claim the build but yet just make it better like the fire pit, I seen tons of those but the fact you went as far as using a wall paper that matched the debug wall makes it better because any other builder would just use it and it would be miss matched and doing that is a bold decision so I look forward to binging your videos also you just gained a new subscriber

Thats the cinematic camera. Press tab in live mode to access it.

The artwork is from the gallery and the rest is from the debug and live edit. You need to have testing cheats on then do bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects and that will unlock a lot of items. You can find them by searching for debug in the catalog
Hei! What do you do to see the ceiling in the rooms?
go to cinematic camera (tab in live mode), press page up and then when you go back to normal mode the ceiling will stay

How are you able to put this things so close to each other?
move objects cheat (bb.moveobjects in the cheat box)
is it possible to make a split level in a basement?
I dont think so🤔 You can do it on the main floor with foundations but not in the basement
Can this only be done on a PC? I only have the console version (Xbox). Are there cheats that let you do this stuff on the console version also?
I would say yes? I did a quick google search and it seems like you do have cheats on console
All of those cheats work on console, however pregnancy cheats dont work on console and a few others. The debug cheat is also different, there isn't as much things and its harder to find the items. You can't search "DEBUG" or "**DEBUG**" it does not work. You have to go into "All Items" then you scroll down untill you find the items. (at the bottom)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't find that post you used (or a lot of other items you have in your debug menu for that matter) no matter what I do 😭😭

yes, all base game. It's a pain to find them in the catalog. You can filter for Base game only, that helps. You just have to scroll till you find them or use TwistedMexi's better build buy mod and then you can actually search for them

can someone tell me a good computer i could play sims 4 on with no problem when i download cc and other stuff?
check what specs Sims needs and go from there. I think any gaming computer would do

No cc whatsoever. Debug and live edit items plus gallery art

Where can I find this wooden decorative in my game play. At the point where you hang the wooden part on the door. I find the part for the top of the door neither in debug nor in direk in construction mode. can you maybe tell me in which construction mode i can find this directly. In your video it is unfortunately only in English something with wood plana decorative ???
the top part of the door is a wooden plank and the sides are fence posts. They are both in debug. Have all the cheats on, search for debug and then you have to scroll until you find them

@@christinaisthaltso4310 yes, its very annoying to find. Try filtering by base game, search for debug and then click on like the 3rd one. That should narrow it down a bit
@@SummerrplaysSims I've already tried that when I somehow had a picture or at least knew what is near the board, for example the cars, trees, bushes or whatever. At only unknown I have already looked. or know what the board is called.

yes, those are a bugger to find. Have the cheats on, search for debug and then filter for base game. That makes is a bit easier. But you have to scroll till you find it

If you search by debug and then filter by base game it will be right after some plants and before fence pieces. I dont know how else to explain. You just have to go through the catalog and find it.
