Extraordinary display of insensitivity by UN spokesperson to Israeli excesses | Janta Ka Reporter

Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the United Nations on Monday raised many questions about his biases when he displayed glaring insensitivity to the weekend’s development in north Gaza. Reporters kept drawing his attention to the UN’s failings in Gaza in stopping Israeli excesses. In response he kept repeating the lines used by Israeli friends namely the US and the UK saying that a ceasefire was the only solution. He also sought to draw a reporter’s attention to the Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity when the UN spokesperson was asked about the gruesome development of the weekend involving Palestinians.
