I like the tune. I hope to introduce it to the jam group I hang with. Thanks for posting this tune; I've been really wanting to learn some beginner swing/jazz tunes.
Great and clear explanation of secondary dominants. This one gets played a lot in Pacific NW jams but I find that F is the choice in advanced bluegrass jams while it’s key of G in swing jams.
Is Sweet Georgia Brown a tune that your jam buddies play?
Definitely! I actually learned this one from the bluegrass guys I jammed with.

@@lorriwestbrook1170 you are welcome! Hope this tune serves you well in your jam group :)
Great tune learned it by ear on guitar . Nice to learn it right on the mandolin for bluegrass jams.
Learning Sweet Georgia Brown on guitar, figuring out chord melody version in F. Couldn’t remember the melody in places so thanks a bunch, pardner! ❤
What a great lesson. I really like the way Hayes explained things during the lesson. This tune is played pretty regularly at our bluegrass jams.
Thanks Lewis, I'm glad you liked the way I laid things out. Let me know if you have any questions!
Great lesson, I am able to understand the way you break things down more so then other teachers on TH-cam.
Thank you
Love this song. Working on the guys to play it
