Some really good ideas here. I find incentives to work and businesses also use those to encourage customers to leave feedback as well. Agree with you that ultimately delivering an outstanding service and overdelivering will encourage word of mouth. Thanks again for sharing!
If you're not living in a hole, you would know it doesn't work anymore because customers never do reviews if you send messages or emails asking for reviews. You have to do it in person at the time of sale and you have to almost force them to do it. Otherwise it never gets done we've sent over 3000 SMS's and emails over the last 3 yrs, maybe 12 reviews from those 3000 customers. Not a single review for this year. 36 reviews in the last 3 weeks by having the staff at the front desk ask.
Great tips! Thank you for this video. I haven't tried this yet, but I think giving a small card to satisfied customers that have clear instructions on how and where to a leave a review on one side and a bring this back for _____ incentive may be helpful too.
