I visited a local AD yesterday to ask about the new Bluesy and how it wears vs. the previous 40mm. In conversation I asked if the store ever receives the two tone Seadweller...I SA saw I was wearing a Deepsea Seadweller and asked if I had any purchase history (I had purchased two watches when the AD was under different ownership). The SA asked if I had a few minutes, then went in the back and returned with a two tone SD! As described by Haliz it truly is a standout watch and the gold matched my skin tone better than the rose gold. I wasn’t looking to make a purchase even though the SD was already sized ‘perfectly’ for my 7.25” wrist! Thank you for another excellent review!
Great review!!!! I was the first one recieving the 126603 in germany in 2019. Unfortunately this watch wasn't wearable for me ( 180mm wrist ) to heavy and it hurt incredibly my wrist. So I sold it 1 week ago. For everyone else the 126603 will be a future collectible! Now Iam happy with my 126613LB and can enjoy the watch and just wear it. :)
Wow another amazing video! I saw this at the AD and very sad I didn’t pick it up. Watching this video makes me even more sad leaving the AD without this beautiful watch. If I see it again, definitely not making the same mistake.
Another awesome review, Hafiz, thank you. Watch is gorgeous, just wish it didn't say Seadweller. For sentimental reasons, I'd like Rolex to at least pretend to have one tool watch, made to be worn how it's intended. I have allot of respect for the people I talked to back in the day on dive watch forums that wore their SDs saturation diving for oil rig setup or salvage operations. Let the two tone be for the ship's captain, but the SD be for people that need it. Or at least day dream they do! Thanks again.
Beautiful watch. So well executed. Great video. You forgot to mention no bracelet extension as in the stainless steel version (bc not really a tool watch)
The polished gold scratches incredibly easy. U just have to accept some scratches. That said, Rolex 904 steel scratches easier than what everyone else uses as well. If u wear it, it will scratch....
I love the videography and close up shots. But do you have to have the same background music and storytelling approach to each of your reviews? You don’t need to romanticize every watch you review/own
Been waiting on this video Hafiz, stunning macro shots and that soothing voice, love it. Great job mate! Are you still planning the comparison of this SD43 to Sub2020? Just wondering, awesome videos as always!
Love this watch! I am looking at a Sea dweller single red but the grey market is crazy and asking prices is same as the two tones ... would you consider a two tones gold a better value? What would be a better purchase (I am looking to keep the watch fro 20 years then give it to my grandkid so maybe he can put a down payment for a house with it....)
My AD offered me one of these. I demurred and chose to wait for the 904L version (126600), which now sits on my bureau as I write this. I have enough gold in my Lange and it’s in the Lange where gold belongs.
I own the full steel sd43, but I am thinking of trading for a new green submariner. It is really chunky, and doesn’t sit flat on the wrist because of the protruding case back.
Yeah man, I dinged my Bluesy’s bezel and had it replaced. I thought I could live with it, it’s a tool watch and the marks give it character. Lol that’s BS, I don’t dive ( and most sub owners don’t)…so it’s back to pre-ding days 🙌🏼
@@HafizJMehmood nah~ don't really need to.. I thought you have great taste & love the efforts too on the shirt choices, the combination is more realistic😉 Merry Xmas~🎉🎄🎁
I think it’s too big and too tick ... I had 2 times but it was just too uncomfortable... if I want something I can wear every single day I will go with sub and if I want something to stand up and bad ass ... I will go for the Deepsea blue
There's no way you can handle the Deepsea but think the SD4K is too uncomfortable. Isn't the Deepsea worse in every way? It's a hockey puck. But yeah, the thickness comes with the territory of the SD4K. That's just what you get with a SD.
SD43 looks the same from above, mine share the same bezel protector but the dial looks bigger on the SD. I love my Deepsea but after buying my SD43 it was game over. its bold, its thick, its bold and far more comfortable.
At this stage, when I'm ready to purchase, I'm thinking Glashutte SeaQ 39mm (new blue dial) or JLC Polaris or possibly an Omega Seamaster 300 - white or silver dial. There are simply nicer watches out there than Rolex ! (with the exception of a no-date Sub if it was available at an AD! That may take a long time to find and I refuse to pay £11k for a £6k watch)
Haha. Not sure which ones were funky but you’re probably correct - I’ve reviewed by far more number of watches now than the number of shirts I’ve ever owned 😅 Thanks for watching.
When you zoom into the hands of most Rolex the imperfections becomes apparent with dirts and poorly finished hands, this is a reminder that Rolex the king of luxury watches is not in the premier league of watch making, Rolex is not haute horology but very robustly machined for the working lads.Nice Sea Dweller and well presented.
I don’t think those specs came from the factory...I think it’s a sloppy, local watchmaker. I’ve noticed things like that when I’ve purchased worn Rolexes that have been “serviced”. Some of these watches on the secondary market have been altered or stripped of parts (bezel swaps, aftermarket parts, etc). A lot of unscrupulous merchants out there, including ADs.
Why would a watch that's at most a year old need to be serviced by anyone other than a Rolex Service Center. And this watch still had the factory stickers on it. Your argument holds no water.
@@bloodymarvelous4790 you must be new to the game lol…box and papers, stickers, aftermarket parts - can be fake or sourced to build a complete set. There’s levels of trust there…from the watch dealer networks to you the buyer and every hand that touches it in between. Don’t be naive 🙂
I want to get the word out. This week I stopped into my local AD. I'm waiting for the SUB or GMT. The AD just received a sea dweller in two tone. In the glass case. When was the last time we saw a sub or GMT In the case. So whomever walks in the door and see the sea dweller and wants a divers watch. What luck. My AD does not take credit cards over the phone, will not sell to anyone they do not know. Surprisingly enough. This AD doesn't ship watches within their six stores. The store gets a GMT, they get to sell. No selling watches out the back door, side door, front door unless they know you.

This is my favourite one. I got it in May 2022. The biggest two-tone (gold) watch in Rolex.
Biggest Rolex TT is Yatchmaster 2 ref:116681
How do you feel about it now? Is the size and weight an issue for daily wear?
@@luizmkv6963that’s why I mark it two-tone in “gold”, YM two tone is rose gold only.
@@SirArbitraryI feel good, because I like the feeling about heavy weight on hand, makes me feel I own this watch.

Once you mentioned the dust on the second hand I couldn't help but see it in every shot. $20,000 and they can't get all the dust off it?

See from your reviews you also had a deep sea, which do you prefer the sd43 or deepsea...trying to make decision which to get myself
Sd43 is more manageable. But if you compare with James cameon, i think I’ll still pick d-blue for interesting dial that is.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make and upload them
