Appreciated that you sped up the film for the more repetitive parts of the process so that the whole process is show quickly and clearly . That ginger looks superb too so healthy . Thanks for sharing .
Amazing harvest. I have a question - am I better with a wider container rather than deeper? Also, do I wait until all the stalks are brown first? Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this, it was very helpful. Could you please share how you grow them and what soil mix you use? And your area/ climate zone please? I have struggled with this in the past, very hot clay soil here. Thank you.
I think you still can grow them when the weather getting warmer. Need 8 months to get that size. About the soil, just need to be in rich soil and well drain. Keep on growing 😊
10 months. Sow in Spring. Harvest in Winter when the leaves turn yellowish. Yes, there are a few holes at the base. Stay tune on the channel. I'll make the planting video too in the future.
If you don't harvest them in time it's okay. The rhizome will turn become old ginger. Wait until the soil not too wet. Much easier to harvest. Otherwise the soil will sticky to the rhizome. Where are you located? Does it frost where you are?
That is an amazing harvest!!! Well done! Looking forward to your other videos!

so to grow ginger should i buy ginger and put pieces as soil. is it that simple or is there more
You can buy ginger plant or you also can grow from rhizome. As long the rhizome fresh (not dry / shrivel).
How do you get them to grow so big most of the ginger I see people growing are pretty small compared to yours
How long did it take to harvest?
10 months
I didn't harvest ginger in time and they are in soil now in the rain, what to do? thanks!
