Passed him at the top of 4th gear. The GT3 is very fast for having such a large power deficit and well over twice the aero.

The 992GT3 RS is just perfect rwd traction, the mechanical grip is incredible.
Helps that the rear tires are 335’s. Absolute steam rollers.

i think they are comparable. both very performance oriented, rwd, naturally aspirated, very expensive, two seater cars.

GT3 RS meant for track not drag racing. Is slower than normal GT3 in straight line due to downforce.

@Sandro Shtolpe I agree with you on the drag racing part. The RS has too much aerodynamic drag but it still has a top speed of 187mph and goes can go 0-60 in 3 seconds flat with a good enough launch

This Lamborgini Huracan has a very very good Acceleration from what i ve learned Playing Gran Turismo 7 so i am not surprised.
and they both Sound amazing.

The launch in the Tecnica was not perfect , if it was , then the RS would have been spanked much more

It's not reasonable to expect a modern car to based on a normal coupe to weigh less. It's the fastest ever by far, so not such a shame right?
Even the 997 GT3 RS was 1400KG, so i guess considering all the technology that comes with the car its pretty light for what it is. A compact A45s AMG weighs 1700 KG just to put this into perspective
It's very very light, you have to consider the size as well, 992 is alot bigger than previous generations + all the active aero and electronics + double wishbone suspension in reality Porsche really made a very light car for what it's, only McLaren that actually can take lightness to another level thanks to their famous Carbon tub use

I actually don't... The GT3 RS is a track car, it's not designed for drag racing. Just look at the Nürburgring lap times, which is not a track but at least has some turns, and you will see the GT3 even beats the Aventador.

Evo wasn't discontinued, it's just Spyder only for this (the final) year. 👍

So, the GT3 RS is .3 seconds slower than the GT3 in the 1000m dash and the Technica is .1 seconds quicker than the STO. Wow, I actually thought the Technica would be like .3 seconds quicker than the STO at least. They aren't that different it seems when it comes to aero.

Yo guys this 2 cars a from different categories. Put an 911 Porsche 992 Turbo S from 2021 with 640Hp & 850Nm and it would destroy this Uracan in ¼mile drag race!

Dragstrip car (Lambo) vs. Trackcar. Nürburgring 7,08 (Lambo Tecnica) vs. 6,47 Porsch (992GT3 RS) The downforce of the Porsche is incredible.... but you have to like the rear wing.

A better comparision to would be the Turbo S for a drag race with the Huracan. The track is the playground for the GT3RS and not the straight.
For comparison the 296gtb and 765lt do the 1000m in 17.8seconds

testing gtr3rs on a straight track makes little sense. Build 2 curves and the result could be something different

There’s a reason for that..! The Lambo has 8 from 10 cylinders behind the back axle, so he is kinda a midengine car, but the porsch has the 2 Zylinder on the back axle and everything else is behind the backaxle. So it adds way more pressure to force the wheels to the ground.
Lambo all day, but man that Gt3 Rs is fast af for having over 100hp less and that giant bench on the back. Would spank the Lambo on the track, and thats where it counts.

the launch control on the huracan is just not as good as the one on the porsche... i love both cars very much. on the track i love my GT3, in the wild i prefer the lambo

The Lambo belongs to another category , unfortunately too much is said about the Gt3 about its ease of driving on the track , but this does not make it the n1 , even on the track this Lambo wins , there are several official times on the tracks , but on the web the Gt3 rs is too "loved".

No, by 200 the Lambo overtakes, which means he is at higher speeds than the Porsche way before (probably hes already faster to 160) - but has to make up the deficit of the launch.
