The true question is how did that one stab kill Savitar. When Jessie quick did the exact same move in season 3 Savitar acted like it did nothing.
To make matters worse jesse stabbed at the neck having a higher chance of killing savitar when Nora only stabbed a small portion of his back

When you wishing chestnut would die so this show can have some actually consequences but nooooooo apparently the flashes worst villain can’t kill someone. Realistically I would have all the villains fight until Eddie shows them what’s up. Then I’d have all of them face against Berry and he holds his own.

I hated what they did with the villains they should have taken one of the filler episodes (not the Oliver queen one) and made it a 5 parter and introduced the villains in the 5th part then they could lose or whatever in the END of the 5 part

Nah after what they did to zooms mask I doubt they’d have savitar face look as good as it did in season 3.
The reason it was underwelming was because it made the og villans look like jokes. It just ruined all of their worth from previous seasons, being beaten so easily by side charachters. Also the fact that we didnt get og team flash together again was honestly heartbreaking(Carlos Valdes couldnt make it in time). The fight scenes were mediocre at best. Nora beating savitar so easily was almost insulting to Season 3. Nora literally did almost nothing to end him and also acting like it was no big deal. After that Cecile being able to beat a literal speedster, which logically she cannot. Godspeed moves FASTER than her hands, she shouldnt be able to do that with ease. It makes no sence. After that she just "hacks" into his brain AND BEATS HIM LIKE THAT. Logically speacking Godspeed should be able to move before she is able to control him, by looking at him, SO WHY did he stay there. (ERIC BE BREAKING THE RULES OF HIS OWN SHOW). Then Khione just hits Zoom with his own lightning which he could literally avoid. AGAIN WHY DIDNT ZOOM MOVE. AND THEN Alegra literally beating Reverse Flash, seeing her do something she isnt even capable of (we have NEVER seen something quite as powerful from her). Thats just pure dissrespect to my dude Reverse Flash. And then Chester lives, because of course they wouldnt want to kill Cisco's clone, BECAUSE "the power of love". Corniest shit i have ever seen in my life. Also using Barry's and Irises emotional moment from season 4 as a refrence was a bad call. Chester and Alegra are not only FAR from what Iris and Barry were in the scene, they are also ruining that scene. (Im so mad). They really cant be serious, we have been watching this show for so long, them ruining it all, ON THE LAST EPISODE. I think we all just need to pretend that this never happened, because it ruins everything that they have been building thus far. Eric Wallace not being able to understand his own show makes him more of a villan than any of the "og villans" we got in that episode. They have completely ruined the oppurtunity of actually writting something that is not only true to the charachters, but also shows why they were so hard to beat ij the first place. You cant convince me it was this easy for some mid side charachters to beat guys such powerful AND SMART VILLANS. Eobard Thawne was always 2 steps ahead, and his plan was to fight normally? You cant convince me thats the same guy that killed another guy, took his indentity and porpusely made the particle exelarator explosion. Eobard Thawne would never be that dumb. This just shows to me that the writters dont know anything about the show. Me, a fan, literally understands the charachters better than the people that write this show? This is crazy. I am actually so mad, it feels like this whole season was a cash grab. The ending wad underwelming to say the least. I would rather if Barry actually vanished in crisis and that was the end of the show. The Barry we know would never act like he acts now. I think, as much as i love this show, it was too much. 9 Seasons were too much and it started to just become worse and worse. All i wanted was to see og team flash again, and actually good fights with the villans. If they couldnt write good fights then they shoulnt have happened in the first place. I have been watching this show since season 1 and it means a lot to me, seing the ending broke my heart. This has been my comfort show for years and i cant believe it ended, but on the other hand i hope that some day in the future even if we never get to see it happen Cisco Caitlyn and Barry meet again. Thats all i hope.

Man how does Eric Wallace not get fired literally anyone could write a better finale to prove it I will I would start pretty much the same but during the fights Nora dies to savitar, Cecile dies to Godspeed, Allegra and Chester die to Thawne, and Caitlin and Mark would die to zoom and that scene would play out the same until zoom dies then we find out it was a time remanent and after zoom kills Caitlin and Mark he says “Never forget I am the fastest man alive” then he kills all the police and runs away then all the villains team up on Barry and defeat him then Eddie succeeds in changing the timeline and is keeping Barry captive similar to how Barry kept Thawne during flashpoint but then the villains betray Eddie so Savitar kills Iris and the rest make Eddie watch then they all beat up Eddie and leave him for dead so he realizes he’s made a mistake so he frees Barry and asks him to help him fix things so they fight the villains and Eddie sacrifices himself to give Barry time to set things back to how they were and when Barry gets back the rest of the ending remains pretty much the same except much less of a focus on side characters and more of a focus on Barry then the episode finished with “to understand what I’m about to tell you I need you to do something first I need you to believe in the impossible, can you do that? Good. My name is Barry Allen and 9 years ago I was struck by lightning and I became the fastest man alive now I use my power to help people and give them hope running through my city like a guardian angel. Over the years many people have threatened not just my city but the timeline and the multiverse, but I always find a way to stop them. I am The Flash”
You just wrote a better story than the whole of season 9(except for episode 9 and 10)

Every side character shined more than Barry in this final episode....in the freaking final episode side characters shined more than the main character....My God...

I mean Thawne literally told Barry that after killing him, he was gonna go upstairs and kill EVERYONE (Ronnie, Stein, Cisco, Caitlin, Joe, Iris, etc.) but of course keeping Eddie alive because of the ancestor stuff. Basically, Eddie had no choice but to shoot himself (or decide he'd never have kids...or shoot himself below the belt...or a number of things).
It’s like Ralph said in 5x02,
“If Eddie wanted to erase Thawne from existence, why didn’t he just get a vasectomy?”
@@timechanger6679 funny I binged The Flash once it was around 2x06. Only took me 3 days to get through Season 1 on Netflix and found the first few episodes of S2 online and I was hooked. I talked with my roommate at the time about the S1 finale and he said the same thing about Eddie!

Your reaction as each speedster died in seconds, was the entire fan base. We all went from jumping up and down, like this is going to be the best fight....to dying slowly each time a side character killed a speedster. Yet, having hope the next fight would be better.....to end up with despair and no hope this series was going to end even semi okay.
The worst for me was Allegra killing Thawne....the speedster that terrorized Barry for the entire show is taken out by Allegra not even trying. I was so done after that. Then also super mad they didn’t have Cisco come to fight or even see Barry after his daughter is born...they are supposed to be best friends. He is the favorite side character. I was just so mad by that point.
The reverse flash controlled barrys life for over 15 years, and haunted barry for basically the rest of it. Zoom held 2 worlds hostage for over a year. Savitar was powerful enough to bring speedsters to the brink of death while being trapped in a prison, manipulated everyone in team flash, and couldn’t be stopped by even time travel from carrying out his plan. Godspeed, I mean, was never really good but Barry still needed his greatest enemies help to defeat him. Zoom could put two planets at their knees but couldn’t beat a weather girl who has been alive shorter than joes daughter. Godspeed could cause a citywide war but was defeated by a woman in her 50’s whose power is the power of feelings, and savitar, essentially the flash himself, who couldnt be defeated even when faced by kid flash, jesse quick, the fladh, and jay garrick, lost because his reflexes were too slow? The reverse flash, who “never dies” and “always comes back” and is quite literally barrys one true villain to top them all, one that he has been fighting for the last 9 years, whose fight with the flash is so insane it surpasses mutliple timelines, is defeater by a sad light girl? And Barrys greatest enemies, speedsters, chase after his team and dont chase barry, or even talk to him? What?
I know and not to mention zoom was fucking terrifying and brought literal fear to everyone but now he’s just goofy 😂

A hero or a member of team flash not dying in the finale reminds me a lot to season 3 where they had made a whole big thing about iris dying and than nothing they went for the obvious option and in the finale the same. But the villains getting done dirty that’s just beyond disrespectful this is F•••••• criminal.

I feel like they should have made the finale at least an hour long if they wanted to keep the party scene after the baby comes. They needed to fight the actual heros. They should have made savitar kill nora. Thawne should have had the particle accelerator ready to go back to his time. GodSpeed should have been shown as moving faster than cecile can see. So by the time she did her moves it was too late or smth like that. I think cobalt blue was fine. khione should not have been able to absorb zoom's lightning. Ik she is basically a goddess but zoom is a menace and true darkness. In the final scene it should have been barry throwing the lightning and it going to him 23 years ago in his lab. They should have had at least one kill and I think it should have been Chuck. Thawne is smart, there is no way he wouldn't have calculated Allegra not coming. Also I missed not having the intros like the first episode
Overall I did like the finale. I would give it 7 or 7.5/10. I don't understand the hate but that might just be the nostalgia and seeing all the bad episodes before oliver queen's one.
Ive watched this since I was 14 and loved it. Till this day the Flash is and always will be my favourite superhero

The finale could have been better. I think that the speedster villains were nerfed until Any normal meta could beat them , they used to be the best speedsters and speedsters are very op . This is what the fights should have been , jay vs zoom , Wally vs savitar , Nora and impulse vs Godspeed (idk if Nora is strong enough alone but maybe she is ?) , and everyone else in team flash w impulse if Nora can beat Godspeed alone if not then just everyone in team flash( maybe some other people from the past seasons who are heroes ) Vsthawne , and of course there is Barry vs cobalt blue /Eddie thawne . This should have been the order of fights that people fought in during the season 9 finale fight , these matchups just make sense rather than what actually happened . This is just what I think would have made the finale better there might also be other things or peoples that I have not mentioned who could have fought or been put in the season 9 finale fight to make it a lot better than it actually was.
That’s what i’ve been saying since flash ended smh, so mad we never got to see jay get his revenge on zoom smh, and barry should’ve made a remnant or a clone thing like thawne did to fight both thawne’s, Eric wallace f@c&ing sucks

TRUEEE BUT, this with 13 episodes already felt pretty dragged out so IMAGINE how much slower it would’ve been with 20
It isn’t about the amount of episodes. It’s about how good he utilises it. Who wanted Batwoman’s Red Death story? Who wanted the those god awful fillets in between. The whole season should’ve been about Cobalt Blue and his legion of Zoom. That way the show could’ve more developed Eddie and gave a good rivalry with Barry and Barry should’ve fought all villains alone so that way we could’ve seen how far he has progressed. I think Savitar could’ve assisted Barry too as it’s not likely he would work with Thawne and Zoloman because they killed Savitar’s parents too not only Flash’s.
My mind beoke after Eddie absorbed all the speedsters speed but godspeed speed went through glass without breaking it. My mind broke

The main problem with the finale was the plot it made no F•••••• sense whatsoever. Like you said the villains gave the team flash problems in their respective seasons and that is without counting the fact that in the finale they got a sped boost which should have made them even more dangerous than before, but again this makes negative sense.

Ok this is my version of battle: barry gets thrown by cobalt blue as seen in the first confrontation then all the villains show up… they all have their dialogue with barry and then the fight commences.. you can tell barry is faster than all of them but they are too much. He starts to get overwhelmed and gets beat up.. As cobalt blue is about to kill barry,reverse flash pushes him out of the way and says “BARRY’S LIFE IS MINE!!” This gives Barry time to get up and speed blitz him and defeat him. Then he would go to zoom. The other speedsters would try to beat him but that would not work as Barry is now too fast for even them he beats zoom and goes on to the fake god of speed Godspeed and instantly beats him. Savitar and cobalt blue… Savitar would do that really cool thing he did in season 3 where he dragged Barry but Barry would escape Savitar as he is doing that because he learned from fighting Savitar before. He would then phase into Savitars suit and use it to beat Savitar then he would destroy his suit… then only cobalt blue would be left… you can choose what happens with cobalt blue btw

I feel like we should've gotten the green arrow episode for ep6 then barry goes back to that night for episode 7 and the remaining episodes could've been used to introduce eddie back more and build up the return of the villians instead of 3 filler episodes

Basially it seems that they wanted to have all the og speedster’s but didn’t know what to do with them and thats why they all died asap and im guessing they wanted to make this story about side characters not just flash to wrap upthe side characters too. (tho the ending was good.

We need to sign a petition to get the episode re done and I actually thought of the most dope ending ever, Cisco would come back and wells would try to restart the particle exelarator and the whole team would be there together thinking of a plan while it was Barry fighting all of them and in the end Barry takes them all to a dead earth and it’s the final battle and Barry has to sacrifice himself like he did in season three but more for the crisis on April 25

Late asf but how sick would it have been if they did the route of them being easily “defeated” and then they do a 180 of them showing how powerful they actually were, like imagine if Khione deflected the lightning back at Zoom and Zoom fucking caught that shit and threw it at Chillblane like he did to Barry in S2. Something like that for each of them would’ve been great, their own moment to shine and then their characters wouldn’t have been ruined and they’d be a bigger threat than ever before
