Let's give credit where credit is due, Crocodile, attacked Whitebeard, clashed with Doffy and Mihawk, saved Ace, and saved Luffy and Jimbei. Man was the MVP of the war imo
Yeah its a miracle that pre gear Luffy could had beat him i guess Crocodile is somewhat of a glascannon insane offence but weaker on defence.

Man I forgot Jimbe got punched through like that, he really is built different.
I mean yeah, he's like 10 times heavier than Ace, Aka Inu didn't burn anywhere near as much stuff inside of Jimbei as he did inside the scrawny body of Ace. Plus since Jimbei is super thick, he didn't actually punch through him, he only punched halfway through and then sent a sort of jet of heat through him, we know because it hit Luffy straight in the chest and pushed through down to the ground and yet Luffy did not get pierced like Ace did so it's not quite as powerful.
I knoww, Luffy got his scar that is such a proheminent character look pos time skip after such a random attack, sometimes u forget its from that moment

Ace's death was hard, but not every pirate is good. But remember we are seing this from Luffys and his allies POV, what about the rest of the world? There are good pirates, but 98% of all pirates are evil, r*ping, killing, scum. The marines represent justice and hope for the normal people, without marineford that hope crumbles and the 98% wil take advantage of this to do evil. I love the 2% of good pirates, but the Marines are still the good guys. No matter what anyone thinks...

@@kngmke969 Finaly some good sense, 100% agree, we hype up Kid because he is "friends" with Luffy and stuff, but he is like evil to the core, same with all the pirates of the worst generation besides Law, and Luffy's crews. They are all evil selfish bastards, but we cheer when they kill marines, again, because they are "cool" and/or friends with Luffy.
The reason they executed Ace, though, was only because of his bloodline and not cause he was a pirate. They were afraid of the birth of a new Roger. And let's not forget that the navy is rotten to the core. With their system of warlords they allowed countries get taken over by pirates and turned the blind eye, not to mention the buster call at Ohara, where they killed everyone so noone gets close to the history of the blank century.. Not saying pirates are good by any means, but for me the navy is just as bad and we don't even know how corrupted they really are..
@@katara1610 yeah that’s what I think, even though most of the pirates are probably scum the marine, in my perspective, are not heroes but a corrupt organization of the world government, yeah they protect the citizens from bad pirates but are also responsible for many genocides like Ohara and are also accomplices of countries being subjugated by allied pirates like in dressrosa, so yeah, the sole purpose of the admirals and the upper marine ranks is to be the dogs of the tenryubito who are the ultimate enemy of the world and the true evil, that’s why garp didn’t become an admiral even though he claps everyone.

I mean nearly all the higher-ups in the navy hates pirates or the warlord system for all we know, Smoker and Fujitora, Akainu despises every pirate, Kizaru's opinion is unkown and even Z although i don't know if he's canon or not, hates warlords. So i don't know about the navy being corrupted, i'd say the celestial dragons and the world government as a whole is, but the navy aren't otherwise Garp Sengoku Kong and Aokiji won't even join the navy to begin with.

For the marines, the reason they chase down the pirates is so that since they are all grouped up at marineford, they can bring down an entire yonko crew easier. It's common knowledge that when someone attacks you not to let them leave unharmed

Case and point, the minute Akainu had to contend with the Red Haired pirates he was like nah I ain't going to do it. If it was "common knowledge" to not let them leave unharmed they should have fought the Red Haired Pirates as well, they let the Whitebeard pirates get away. Your whole staement makes no sense. They already took out the yonko crew by killing Whitebeard, if they had a brain they would have focused Blackbeard instead of hunting Luffy endlessly. Akainu is just petty that is all it comes down to.

A few episodes ago it was mentioned that the Redhair pirates were in the way to Marineford, but that the other emperor, Kaidou, got in their way and delayed their travel. If not for that Shanx would have stopped that war much earlier and a lot of people would not have died.
Wasn’t Shanks asked to stop Kaido by whitebeard because he knew Kaido would try to go to the war.
@@marc68521 That's not confirmed, but it's not a terrible headcanon. I personally think Shanks just did it of his own accord because he knew the world's balance would be upset before Luffy is ready if Kaido pulled up to Marineford as well.

So you've probably been enlightened to this but Admiral Sakazuki 'Akainu' was the same one who nuked the Oharan refugee ships cuz he didn't wanna risk any archaeologists sneaking free (He was Vice Admiral Sakazuki at the time). Each marine has their own 'justice' like each pirate has their own moral code, just the navy-sided monsters hid until they got enough power to not be usurped. Like Axe-Hand Morgan being a normal marine like young Coby until Captain Pussyfoot Maneuver Kuro broke his jaw and left him as the surviving marine that caught 'him'(his hypnotized lookalike) and bing bang boom he got power, swole, and someone fisted his arm stump with lumberjack equipment.
Also if the theme hasn't been pointed out in ALL this time which is unlikely....All the admirals have their real names but they have their code-names that seem to be assigned once they get that rank. Borsalino the Yellow Monkey, Sakazuki the Red Dog, and Kuzan the Blue Pheasant (Did a quick check and saw you are done with Dressrosa so Issho the Wisteria Tiger, and wisteria is a plant the same shade of purple as all his gear.)

I get where youre coming from about them going after luffy instead of blackbeard but they are trying to kill a rookie that pretty much took control of the war, managed to save ace (if only for a little bit) has been approved of by whitebeard and is also the son of the most wanted man in the entire world plus he has conqueror's haki which is a pretty big deal. About Sengoku and the Marine's, its hard to understand but in One Piece the oposite of Justice is Justice, in the future of the anime it will show more, not all marines are bad and not all pirates are good, and there is bad apples in both group
Heisu, Shanks was fighting off Kaido, another Yonko that wanted to be in the middle of the war and take advantage of the chaos. Shanks stopped him from approaching
