I was at one of their performances sitting about six rows from the front in the center and there was an empty seat in front of me. They played the Canzona per sonare N°4 explaining how the performers were in different locations and the effect that made. Four of them made their way to the four corners of the auditorium but Chuck Daellenbach (Tuba) started making his way to that empty seat. One of the others said, "No Chuck. Not IN the audience, around it." Of course, this was all part of the act. Chuck also brought some sheet music (as if he needed it) and had a person sitting in the row in front of him hold it up for him. They had the house lights on so everybody could see all this. And Chuck played his part sitting in that seat.
Whenever CB marches in playing Just a Closer with Thee the trumbone player is always first. I guess this is so he won't knock anyone in the head. But, then he could do this if he were last in line and walking backwards.

A very enjoyable concert & excellent musicianship. I like Brass music very much. Have subscribed.
I didn't realize the soprano trumpet is a 4-valve instrument. I learned something new; thank you.

It's always risky to get the audience clapping or snapping, they tend to slow down, you just gotta ignore them...
Io c'ero!

I don't get why this trombone player adds so many gimmicky touches that are not in the parts. Not everything is jazz!
Hey man, when you make the canadian brass, you can go tell him
