My partner and I had the honor to see them in person. We went through a lot of really terrible stuff for a couple of years. About a year ago, the catastrophic stuff started to wind down. But- I hadn’t been able to pick up my guitar for almost a year. Went to that concert a few weeks ago and that part of me that couldn’t bring myself to even pick up my guitar started working again. It was like some broken part of me was healed. One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had the opportunity to be a part of. Thank you, Tash.

You know the one. Notion..it saved my life and gave me hope. That if there was music like this still being made and transformed and elevated then I have some thing to live for and love up to being someone who can play a little themselves. You brought to my eyes a style that revolutionized the way I thought about making music. You are a legend, a beautiful soul, and a savior to me. Ive always wanted to shake your hand put of respect for what you do for this world. From one tenor player to another...maybe one day it will still be possible.
