Stitching At The Cabin is a channel about cross stitch. We are a mother daughter flosstube that “specializes” in large projects including HAED, Chatelaine, Gecko Rouge, and Mirabilia. You will also catch us rotating through smaller projects like Mill Hill and Just Nan. We do full coverage, we do partial coverage, we do no coverage! Oh... well maybe thats just called buying excess stash. You may even see an occasional bird. Live ones. Like the ones that talk. Unless you have a fear of birds. In that case, they are puppets. We like to think we are funny, but more likely we are just easily amused. You decide.

I think doctors are off lol we swear baby confetti is big for his age but the doc says he’s in the lower 10% for height and always has been. I looked small when I was pregnant too but I just carried him in the back I guess.

Carrying in the back sounds painful. There's no way he's lower 10%. You've showed him before. He looks totally perfect. Stupid WIPGO. Ha ha. ~J

I also have that dimensions orchid kit. I bought it a few years ago on Amazon. I’m working on Graceful Orchids which is a Luca S kit. As far as dazzle dry black I bought midnight express on Amazon. Is that not black? I haven’t used it yet. For me regular nail polish would chip in about 12 hours. With using the DD base and transform I so far get chips on exactly day five. So I’m very happy with that result. I hope it works well for y’all. Happy Stitching.
Midnight Express is defined as true black on Dazzle Dry. You are 100% right. I am a big fat liar. Thank you! I can't remember what day I'm on (I think day 5), but so far not chips on the wet and wild black with the DD base and top. I will have to change colors this week because I have a business trip this weekend and wearing my festive black and bright red is not really work appropriate. I will probably go back to the mauve one. I've never tried a Luca S kit even though I own a couple. One of these days I'll start one. I just looked up Graceful Orchids. So so so so so so pretty. ~J
@@stitchingatthecabinI’m glad you are having success with the non dazzle dry polishes. Opens up so many less expensive options. I think my next mani will be DD celestial dreams. You really should try a Luca S kit. I love the floss cards they include with the kits and it’s all sorted so nicely. Lovely big chart. At least that’s how mine was.
@@lesliewilson4079 one of these days I will start a Luca S kit and think of you while I do. I think the one I have with hot air balloons is a Luca S. I've come close to starting it a couple of times.
Yes I always use a 28 needle and my thread to bead marches my fabric so the thread literally disappears. I hate the plastic bead thread it tangles and makes beading miserable.
Where were you last year?! I wish I'd known about the size 28 needle back then. Ha ha. I actually like nymo for beading but probably mostly because I'm too lazy to change floss color as often as I would've needed to for the Chatelaine. I haven't had tangling issues, but it's actual Nymo. The cheaper stuff I've gotten has been a bit of a nightmare at times. I've gone back to Nymo. ~J
