Stitching At The Cabin is a channel about cross stitch. We are a mother daughter flosstube that “specializes” in large projects including HAED, Chatelaine, Gecko Rouge, and Mirabilia. You will also catch us rotating through smaller projects like Mill Hill and Just Nan. We do full coverage, we do partial coverage, we do no coverage! Oh... well maybe thats just called buying excess stash. You may even see an occasional bird. Live ones. Like the ones that talk. Unless you have a fear of birds. In that case, they are puppets. We like to think we are funny, but more likely we are just easily amused. You decide.

Congratulations. She was born on my birthday. But I turned 62. Ur WIPS r just stunning. U do such large projects. Idk how u do it. I’m impressed with ur huge haul. Happy stitching 🪡❤️
Happy belated birthday!!!! 62 is still young. When I was a kid, 62 was so old. Now that I'm 48, old is like 96. Maybe. Maybe 100. ~J

Yay!!! Congratulations on your new baby granddaughter!!! Petunia Peck (?) Fabric... all I could imagine on that is a silhouette of a fairy... so I googled that... there are so many beautiful charts of silhouettes that would look wonderful on that fabric!!!
A silhouette is an excellent idea. I think Julie Fain has a ton, but I think most of hers are full coverage (not that it would be hard to figure out the black vs the background). Anyway, good idea! ~J

It took all my will power not to message you the other night. I was watching On Patrol which is like Cops only it's live or at least close to it. Anyway, someone had been attacked by a machete. I had no idea slapping someone with the side looks almost more painful than the slashing/stabbing wounds. ~J

I'm thrilled I didn't have the same experience as the truck, but I had higher hopes for dealer security. You'll have to come poke at all the fabric in person. ~J

Okay. I’m sure in the right place and time that bamboo joke is hilarious. He really needed to read the room though. I would have died. TWICE. I do not do well with jump scares or startles. And while my initial reaction is always flight, it is immediately followed by fight. I would have picked up the closest thing and it would not have ended well for him. I’m so sorry that happened to you. That’s just awful.

I would've LOVED to have seen you bop him with whatever you could find. I did say later that he's really lucky neither of us reacted with fight. He needs to be careful who he does that to. It sounds like Baby O is doing well, but we haven't had the opportunity to see her recently. We should see her somewhat soon though. I need new baby cuddles and to sniff as much new baby smell as I can. ~J
Holy haul Batman! Keto looks great! Guy at the restaurant sounds scary. You'd think the manager there would've stepped in when he's being obnoxious with Ohio chant (Ohio State Univ) and ask them to leave before it got worse. Glad new baby is ok! Congrats again to everyone! We definitely could use an Alternative Hose around my town...when I worked for Penske I'd visit a local hydraulic hose shop at least a few times a month to get lines made.
I would love to know what your reaction would've been to bamBoo. I think because we were in a side room, the wait staff/manager probably didn't realize what was going on. It's a two story restaurant and we were upstairs. We may or may not have seen Penske in one or two of our locations over the years. Alternative Hose rocks! ~J

Is it returnable? Bah ha ha ha ha. Love that!!! I set it up yesterday so I think it's officially mine with no givesies backsies. I think it'll be nice to have the option of home or office. I've worked from home for over 20 years now. It has some definite pros, but now I think I'll be able to get the best of both worlds. I appreciate how lucky I am. Wanna come over and we can go to dinner at the place with the creepy guy? You can ride in the back of the truck! ~J

That guy who played that trick on you at the restaurant was so mean. Sounds like a scary moment, and I’m glad that you and your friend, and everyone else was safe afterwards.
And I hope that your car is cleaner than the cleanest place on earth. That is really bad that they allow that to happen, but I’m glad that they are making it up to you. Do you think you’ll ever go back there for service for your vehicle?

I will gladly show storage if I ever figure it out. Ha ha. They barely cleaned the truck. Sigh. We will be doing a more thorough cleaning ourselves. We will have to go back at least one more time for service and then maybe we will switch to another dealer. I suspect it may happen at others too though. You should start all the afghans too!!!! ~J

@@noelwilcox9989 the service guy was at the doctor so he didn't see the completed job, but I'm horrified that this was the best "detailing" they could do. I feel you with startitis.
@@stitchingatthecabin right, it seems like someone who is blind could do a better job. That’s really bad service from them. What about taking it to be cleaned and then giving them the bill since it’s their fault? Or is that bad to do?
@@noelwilcox9989 There is no smell. They replaced the carpet at the time they fixed the leak. That just leaves the seats which they say they cleaned well before. If I could smell things, I'd be more concerned. We will just do some sanitizing and all should be right with the world. Or at least the truck.
Aww baby was born 5/26 lol mine came 4weeks early at 36w she was born 5/18 so happy mom and baby are doing good. 11:57

Actually she was considered the premi but really wasn’t she was born at 8lbs and we just stayed in the hospital for three days. She’s doing wonderful
