After getting into JoJo, I love replaying my Castlevania library to spot JoJo references-- and in the process, I rediscover some kickass music that I forgot about. Btw: Being able to make Jonathan and Charlotte pose like Jonathan Joestar and Jolyne Kujo respectively is glorious. I finally see the significance of the stone mask item, and my new favorote move for non-boss enemies is freezing time with Charlotte, then tossing knives at them so that they stop in mid-air, like how DIO attacks in Part 3.
@RPFeltz I used one of Winamp's Plugins called "Classic Spectrum Analyzer". Isn't it neat? It lets you customize the spectrum's flame effect, colors, and lines.
If you listen closely to this version, I've incorporated some of the Haunted Castle Arcade harmonies. Some of them were re-used later for the Akumajo Dracula X Chi no Rondo CD stuff.
@RPFeltz The Classic Spectrum Equalizer is not a full-screen plugin. Therefore, it is impossible to get it to fill your screen. If you want to do that, you have to either configure Milkdrop or configure Advanced Visualization Studio. I did not know you were trying to get the thing full-screen, if I did, I would've mentioned you couldn't earlier. You can save profiles by right-clicking the Spectrum Analyzer and clicking "Profiles" and saving there as a different name than what's there.
@RPFeltz I used Hypercam 3 Free Edition. Recorded just the video feed, not the audio. Then I used VirtualDub with XViD to compress the video and add high-quality Audio WAV (so that when TH-cam compresses it, it won't sound like absolute garbage - I mostly succeeded)
@greencow123 It's not a stupid question. I was wondering if someone would pick up on that. I did mention it in the comments but not everyone reads those. There are indeed some parts I added into the PoR version in the intro, that appear in the original Haunted Castle version, like the 2nd guitar part.
@RPFeltz Never mind; "Windows 7 x64 Bit,Winamp 5.81Works great, but will not save profiles." was said by someone, and it just happens to be I use a mixture between Windows Vista and Windows 7 32x and 64x. I'll check if I can fix this by using a different version of winamp.
Stupid question, but did you use elements of both the Portrait of ruin version and the haunted castle version? I only ask because there are background diddies occuring that I don't remember being in the portrait of ruin version that was in the haunted castle version. Either way, this is definately THE BEST remastering of this theme to ever exist. I was wondering if you do requests, because I would love to see "lament to the master" from OoE done by you.
This has got to be one of the best songs in a Castlevania game. I just love how intense it is.
"Opening Stage - Knight of the Church"
Cue Efrain rushing through the cemetery...
I've never played Portrait if Ruin, but I really like this song!!
R.I.P konami :(

Anthony Breznican Does every game designer love Jojo?! How old is it?
Marco Spaulding created in 1987
@@marcospaulding9568 Late, but a Japenese artist referencing JoJo is like an American artist referencing Star Wars. It's that big over there.
Блаблабла
You should go to Nest of Evil, you will absolutely love Zephyr

Awesomazing !
Marvellantastic!
Wonderficent!
Fantasticular!!!
I think this is in the first Castlevania Lecarde Chronicles, nice remix, loves it.
If you haven't already, you should try to do the Rondo version of Cross Your Heart.
This IS the Rondo of Blood version. Crucifix Held Close/Cross Your Heart was an unused track in RoB that was later used in Portrait of Ruin.
Mr.541 No, this is not. Rondo of Blood version is a way different arrangement compared to this. This one is specifically Portrait of Ruin version.
Anakunus Weird, I always heard similarity between the two aside from the fact they were the same song.
Mr.541 So did I, yet I have also heard the differences; same composition, different arrangements.
If you listen closely to this version, I've incorporated some of the Haunted Castle Arcade harmonies. Some of them were re-used later for the Akumajo Dracula X Chi no Rondo CD stuff.
It´s my favorite castlevania song, me da nostalgia y ganas de volver a jugarlo.

Jorge Fuentes It's no funny when they call exactly your big brother. If can recognized by their names then name it I:

Ah yes, I believe I remember this song. Nice work. That harp is particularly awesome.
I figured out the name of this song just by listening to it! Yay
thanks siluman-senpai
@OgnarPliskin
It'd be very rainy though. It'd be a hell of a workout, though.

I get a bloody tears vibe here
FilthyCasualKai Me too a little
@TGMagus I got it to work now. However, my OS doesn't support saving profiles, sadly. Thanks alot though.

"Lament to the Master" is up.
Nice
@TGMagus The full screen option with visualizers in winamp doesn't do anything for me. Is there anyway to fix this?
@TGMagus How do I get the visualizer to be fullscreen? And why can't I save profiles?
@RPFeltz No wait, I still can't use fullscreen D=
@TGMagus I tried it too, but how did you record it?
wow
🧛♂️
En verdad esta música es de Haunted
Castle
Musica de Haunted Castle pero el remix proviene de su version de DS
What did you use to visualize this?
Hi Princess Peach :D!
Haunted Castle :T
bro, sos mi hermano perdido
I thought it's name was Crucifix Held Close I:
KenChar2015 Yeah, the original first part is Cross your heart but has more and new notes, so you must recognized by Crucifix Held Closed
GreenZero21 that too
