i can appreciate the effort it took to set those huge capstones into place. I'm a 70-year-old retired Bridgeman living in the Vancouver area of Canada. One time during my career back in the late 1980s, we did a 50-ton lift with a huge gantry crane. It was a big deal, the shackles were about 2 feet long... to put these megalithic stones in place must have been an incredible feat of ingenuity, my hats off to the brilliant ancient builders of these megalithic sites..much respect. Thanks for this outstandingly amazing video.

I was in the El Romeral in 1974. We had to get the gate key from a winery office and had unrestricted access to the site. I think they even lent us a flashlight for the interior because there was no lighting inside. The thing I remember most is the acoustics inside. Because of all the stacked stones it was very quiet and no echo and we yelled our heads of and chanted. Fun to see it again. Thanks.

@@SkyFly19853many of the mounds in Ireland are strategically built near hills and mountains. One Circle, the Grange Stone Circle and Lough Gur area near where I was born is similar to the above site. There are several circles, cairns, standing stones, the entire area is full of ancient stones. I was born and grew up near it. It's the biggest stone Circle in Ireland and has many alignments associated with it. It feels for me that many many sites in other countries are built to this strategic planning. Thank you for your reply.

Thanks for another fascinating video, megalithomania has helped me in my investigations of prehistory enormously over the years and I'm grateful.
I cast an ancient metrologist eye over these dolmens last year but I somehow missed the 199' alignment. If that number was tweaked a little to be 199.0656' this would make it exactly 55.296% of a circle and this is the exact length of one degree of longitude at the site of the dolmens in miles and which is also 4/5 of the mean degree of latitude where sites like Avebury and Stonehenge are located. It just so happens that the internal diameter of Stonehenge of 97.32096ft would fit the degree of longitude at the site of those dolmens exactly 3000 times. We were way smarter in the past than most people realise.
    All is number!

It is amazing how they bored through rock and we have no idea how to drill or cut into a piece of stone using fire-setting, chisels, gem stone tipped boring tools or even high pressure water today, nor can we move these weights even though we have cranes at dockyards that can lift thousands of tonnes, launch ships weighing hundreds of thousands of tonnes and have mining equipment that could eat the pyramid of Giza in a few days. Just imagine what we could do if we had equipment that made it possible for one man to lift and manoeuvre hundreds of tonnes alone! Imagine being able to drill a hole in stone!

This is in what is known as 'Europe's only desert' (Andalusia), which sets it in a landscape different to the surrounding areas. If the inhabitants of the original megalithic age gathered here, making their site sacred with these structures, they belong to a time we (collectively) seem too nervous to age correctly, because it is so long ago. Rather than 4-6,000 years ago, I would suggest 40-60,000 years ago.

@@rfwhyte what are you talking about? there is zero evidence of how these things are made, the only evidence is that they exist, and the fact of the matter is, nobody knows exactly why, or how they were built, because the technology was lost to time. hence why people call it lost ancient advanced technology, because it is too advanced for us to figure out even today. the only people who do know are people like the pope. you cant explain them with your academically written history books however much you try, that's why there is so many different theories, the majority of which originally came from your trusted scientists and archaeologists in the first place.

Even though it has immense water damage which could only be possible if the sphinx was built thousands of years before the pyramids and the whole area experienced mass flooding. Until recently you guys were adamant that the spinx was built the same time as the pyramids, but there isnt water damage on the pyramids? The Sphinx and the whole of giza was submerged by water before the pyramids were even built. Now you try to say it was a lush rainforest when they built the pyramids and not a desert. what do you think turned it into a desert and how long do you think that taken? you think it was just some people going around chopping down trees thousands of years ago turned a fertile land with rivers into a barren desert? lmao you guys change your minds too much for anyone to take seriously.

When you are talking about the official age of this sites, you mentioned a deviation of 19 degrees (from 1980) so 199. I asked AI to callculate thetime of a such deviation. Here it is if it helps.
To determine how much time must pass for a constellation to shift 19 degrees in azimuth at the same time on the same day each year, we need to consider the Earth's precession:
Precession of the Equinoxes: Earth's axis wobbles over a cycle of approximately 25,772 years. This movement causes the position of the stars in the sky to shift westward (relative to the equinoxes) at a rate of about 1 degree every 71.6 years.
    Azimuth Shift Calculation:
19 degrees of shift due to precession would take:
    Time
    =
    19
    degrees
    ×
    71.6
    years/degree
    =
    1360.4
    years

Someone apparently felt the need to install a utility box within the wall of the entrance. I wonder why they didn't erect an exterior housing to avoid permanently damaging the ancient wall. Didn't anyone suggest that as a better way to go? They had to cut out a section of the stone wall and then probably disposed of it somehow. I'm sure you must have noticed it as you walked in, but for some reason you didn't express any frustration or criticism of the local authorities for hiring such insensitive contractors.

The main higher chambers in these monuments seems to me to be constructed abnormally higher than the rest of the structure due to that particular area being used with fire as some form of ceremony - the high roof feature is common in medieval buildings to allow a build up of Co2 on the ceiling rather than poisoning the people practicing the rituals in the lower levels.
I completely agree with the hypothesis that the similarities in the construction of these monuments all across Europe show a common movement of a idea or ancient religion.

A few thousand years ago or maybe even more, it seems that people had a fetish for building with very large boulders.
They probably had a lot of time at their disposal because food came from the sky (sarcasm).

    Step one: draw it out.
Step two: Dig out only the place the rocks go. Leaving the stones even with the surface.
Step: Pull the ceiling stones over the stones now inside the holes you dug out.
Step 5 Dig out the area that makes up the internal space.

CANT STAND when people have the nerve and ego to name something they uncover after themselves. It was there BEFORE YOU, you didnt create it. Proper thing to do is to name it after the name of the area its found in

Dude is from the UK and is in Spain, both places that use metric, just like the entire rest of the world. Might I suggest you bother to learn the very simple conversion math rather than insist other people conform to your insane, archaic measurement system?

Mountains should be 5 milers regarding altitude. Instead they are 8 thousanders (meters) in height for some reason, not simplicity

You can levetate stones if you put a coating of mercury on one side of the stone and add a positve charge then you put a coating of mercury on the floor and give it a negative charge , it then repulses the stone from the floor like a magnet - I have tested it with a 6 ton rock and taken it two miles over hills in the countryside , in the dark it is harder to move it but in the day it is ok.
