- Great review, Love the car, thought I would share for all of you who are thinking of purchasing one as I am.
Very lite weight car, responsive engine, and Abarth have tuned the suspension for a better drive
I Bought my 2017 Abarth Spider
Because of this VIDEO.
And love the car, easy to upgrade the turbo
For more power.
Thanks for the info. I agree a great car.
Same here with my 2018! Shame they don’t make them anymore but everyone thinks this car is way more expensive than it is. No one has to know it costs less than a Corolla!
@@jamescryan368 👀👀
@@jamescryan368 Not anymore, my base Classica costs $10,000 more used than what I paid for it new.
Same here, just bought mine. 2019 and feels super punchy with about $1500 worth of parts and a tune ~220 at the crank, 190bhp to the wheels in a car the size of a shoe 👌
Richard has forgotten to tell about an important detail: over the sport mode button, the 124 spider has another button, on the left side of the steering, that disengage all the electronic controls. Not just for saying: it disengage EVERYTHING! For real. But, if you do that, you have to be sure that you can handle it. I'm not saying that it's a beast or something like that. But, when you press that button, the control of the car it's all on your hand. No traction control, no stability control. You have nothing but your steering, your throttle, your brakes and (if you have the manual gear box) the clutch. Nothing else. And this is a detail that made me fall in love with this car (I have one). It's one of the last cars ever produced that offers to you the option to shut down every electronic controls. And, for me, it's something special.
If you're thinking to buy one and you like this kind of cars....just go and buy it. You won't regret! 😉😎💪🏻
@@Crawdoodle ehm....not exactly. If you shut down controls, you can loose the rear even on dry tarmac, if you accelerate too early out of a corner and you're going fast. Then, of course, a bit more CV would be very useful (the car could easily handle 200/230 CV in my opinion). But even with 170 (not 160), combined with the weight (just 1000 kg), it's very good to drive and fast, more than you expect.
@@Crawdoodle u never drove one of these that's clear
@@Crawdoodle 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Crawdoodle u drive a fucking microwave not a car😂😂😂😂My dad had one of these in 2018, he let me drive a lot but tesla are cars good only in the straight, the only time we go on da track, a fucking alfa romeo mito 170hp was 5 second faster for lap with the same driver😂.
It's a good car if u are a fat American guy
@@Crawdoodle …as soon as you said Tesla you lost!!! A Tesla is “transportation.” The Fiat is a DRIVERS CAR!! A stick shift vs auto drive. Come on.
It looks really nice....Italian car built in Japan should be a perfect combo
Man I want one!🥰👍
Thanks for this
This Grand Tour clip has been on You Tube for 5 years now. Bit late to the party.
Love mine
They look like a lot of fun. I am considering one myself.
You will love
That’s a pretty car
Hi, i search for this song in very beginnig. Can u help me? :D 0:14
This is an Abarth 124 Spider, not a Fiat 124 Spider Abarth. The Fiat 124 Spider Abarth is not a proper Abarth, just specced to look like an Abarth. Sorry USA.
