Restoring Tone of Dead Sounding Bass Strings

Just a quick demonstration of the process of enriching the bass of an old piano with steel wrapped bass strings.

I have never heard of boiling strings.

@@pnotuner1 If my memory is correct, they used to boil them in vinegar. The wound strings.

Be interesting to try it. I have an ultrasonic cleaner unit. Could probably incorporate that in the methodology, too.
