This look amazing ! I had a hard time choosing which cover I wanted to get. While I am excited to get this, I’m a lil bit sad about that misprint. These books cost too much to have that problem.
Got so excited when I first heard Rise of the Black Panther would be collected in omnibus format, because the first issue of it was one of the first single issues I ever bought. Awesome video as always!

The World of Wakanda mini mapping is so odd because that is not how the trade is mapped at all haha. The trade has the entire Zenzi story at the end of issue 5.

It looks like that Zenzi "World of Wakanda" story was a misprint. on Marvel Unlimited, the entire Zenzi story is collected in issue one, with the Ayo/Aneka story continuing in issue 2 and 3. I'll try and review the trade to see if this was what it was the way it was originally printed.
Do not read too much into my tone. This book review was recorded last week along with 20 other reviews. Thank you for confirming about the Zenzi story.

I love both covers but I preordered the Phil Jimenez. I think for me the best stories in here are the Shuri and the crew series. Also I hope they continue the graphics on the hardcover for future omnibuses.

Its alright. The art went down hill after Sam Kieth left though.
Not sure if that last comment (or yours) was a joke. Gaiman’s Sandman, the entire run, is one of the greatest comics series ever printed. Get it, read it.

So it is obviously a misprint, my question is are there pages, art or dialogue from any issues completely missing or just out of order? If it’s just a matter of pages printed out of order, I can deal with it - if entire pages or panels are missing I’m not buying.
I have to say, I’m growing weary of the number of misprints in Marvel omnis. I have 3-4 already from the past 2-3 years with serious misprints and this is another.

Looks like a nice book but the budget doesn’t quite extend to it this month. I like the Donnelly print jobs but the odd page placement for that mini makes me wonder. Thanks Omar!
i love both covers. they should have left the marriage alone. ororo is every inch a queeen. shouldnt wakanda have more super powered folks? marvel has invested big time in black panther and wakanda since the movie made a billion, has it worked? have these books been selling?

I really enjoyed the Killmonger series.
I thought Last Annihilation: Wakanda was a great epilogue issue to close out the Ta-Nehisi Coates era.
And “Letting Go” (back-up story from BP #23) also resonated with me; I thought it was a great short story 👍🏻
It is a misprint, there seem to be a few pages out of order. The Ayo and Aneka story ran through World of Wakanda #1-5. The Zenzi story was just a backup in #1, and there's no reason to intentionally spread it around like that.
But are there any pages or panels, from any issue, entirely missing?
@@bclayj Examining the video a bit closer, it looks like they've just swapped page 3 of the Zenzi story with the cover to issue #3, but I have no way of going through the omnibus page by page to see if there are any other errors.
Awesome Overview as always! So, when I read this Omnibus should I not read certain pages? I'm a little confused on what is not supposed to be in the book. Can someone post what to not read or if a certain order is required. Thanks!
I want Classic Stan Lee Black Panther
Hard to choose between this and Coates Omni 🤔
This is a companion to the Coates Omnibus, so I'd start with that.
If it's a choice, definitely Coates, that's the main story. This is a bunch of mostly unrelated side stories of varying quality that happened to come out around the same time.
Also, read Last Annihilation: Wakanda AFTER Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda. There are spoilers in that one-shot.

FYI, all that's included from #23-25 is the 3-page backup stories (by different creative teams). The main stories from those issues are also in the Coates omnibus where they belong.
