Peacock Paint Grenade! 🦚 Gorgeous Acrylic Paint Grenade Technique with Amazing Cells!

Hello my Beautiful People! Welcome back to a gorgeous day in the garden studio! My friend Kelly Stowell of Feral Art showed me a gorgeous piece she had done the other day on a piece of drywall, using Winsor & Newton paints. Since I had a few bottle of Winsor & Newton in my supplies I decided to try a paint grenade with them. I haven't used them in a while, but they really performed beautifully! Lets get started! There is NO Silicone
in Any of My Paint.
Im using a 24x30 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artist Loft.
I layer two 16 ounce cups with contrast. I placed the pushpins in them before I put the paint in, but HoA pointed out that you could put the pin in at the end, after you flipped the cup over.
The science behind the paint grenade is simple.. by introducing a hole for air to flow into it pushes the paint out of the cup. The process of moving the cup act like a swipe and can create cells within the painting.
I thin out the rest of my champagne gold to use as a flow extender, and pour it around my two puddles, then tilt.
I like the composition and flow of this piece, and I seriously love all the cells that popped up! I hope you enjoyed it too! I will show you the dried results in the next video.

Holy moly! I just finished trying out the peacock grenade pour and that was amazing! I added some folkart green flash and some metallic pthalo green after the pour and before the stretch and wowsers its stunning 😍
