I watched many reaction videos to Chad at Drumeo, I appreciate your playing because it showed what a big task it is. And you explained the time signature well (for a non musician like me)
Very underrated reaction. I was blown away from 1st sitting, had chills, was mesmerized and laughing at the same time as I’m witnessing this freak’n awesome performance of Chad’s on the fly creation [no prior knowledge of song and drumless track 28secs in kills it] - Then the reviewer has a stab at it himself [as if] and fails miserably. To his credit, he acknowledged and stopped that madness. Yeah so I haven’t read comments but sounds like he’s getting the raft of sh*t he likely deserves. - While this guy seems like a nice enough fella, he is flat as glass and shouldn’t be doing reaction videos. The Red Sea would part and he’d probably shrug and go ‘not bad’….😂
this was prob the best reaction to this video, pure reaction no faking and when you started playing that was top tier honestly. that should be your thing and you should do it more 100%

I am not a drummer, but by what i see the stick broke exactly at the position of the rim of the snare, i assume he hit the rim before so he weakened it.
Yes. Chad always plays rimshots, which is when you hit the center of the drum with the tip of your stick and the rim at the same time. It produces a distinctive sound and tends to chew the stick at around the rim impact area.

@@ShovelChef they jam all the time in concerts. He's obviously a quick thinker to play that so quick. As amazing as it is, I bet its not hugely difficult for him to do this
