Doesn’t seem like an awful lot of support in terms of anybody getting their questions answered…not cool. So it looks like you bound it in safe, but I didn’t see you assign a switch to be able to go back-and-forth between safe and a AS3X? Also, do you need seven channels to use reverse thrust? Is it just me or is this video incomplete? Also, why the need for different switches for the dual rates? I’ve never seen that before. I usually just use switch F for rudder, aileron and elevator. Any explanations or should I expect no answer like the rest of those asking questions…
@@Cre8ionz. It would be tough especially if you’re not all that used to programming a computerized radio. You’ve got the manual and maybe try an unboxing and set up video. Brian Phillips RC might help. I just put my rates on one switch as usual. If there’s a question you think I might be able to help you with don’t be shy. Good luck. It’s a basic jet. Looks cool but nothing special. Try to practice landing it on a simulator if you can, that was the only thing that was tricky. It will float forever on final approach. I cracked it up (it’s got a weak spot underneath) a couple of times on landings. Usually breaks clean though, some glue and and you’re back in the air.
No you only need 6 channels, I've got mine set to channel 5 for safe and channel 6 for reverse. No idea whybthe manual says you need 7 channels as this plane doesn't have flaps
If you set up the receiver with SAFE mode selected, but have to invert one of the outputs because the flight control surface its operating opposite of what it should, does SAFE understand this and will it give the correct output to counteract a wind gust or axis change? Or will it make the situation worse ?
Hello love your videos! I just had my first 2 flights on my Habu 50mm. I ran a Spektrum 3s 2200 100c. Didn't seem like to far into the flight, around 5 min. The motor started surging. I brought it down and throttled up and it didn't don't while I was holding it. I swapped out the battery for a brand new 3s 2200 50c and within a few minutes it was surging again so I brought it down and throttled up in my hand and it surged and then the esc started beeping? I can't find any specs or a manual for that esc...Does the lipo cutoff surge and beep at you? The dang manual the plane comes with doesn't even say. Just seems like if it is the lvc that I should've got more flight time. I did read cold weather can cause surging and it was about 40 degrees but feels colder with the wind. Again I don't know what the beeping is...What lvc is at on the esc and if it's adjuor not? Like I said there is no manual for the Avian Lite SPMXAE30A esc.
I have the Habu ss 50mm but I can't get AS3X to work. I have it setup on my gear switch but it's in safe in both switch positions.
What a perfect little jet!
Well done! And be sure to join the AMA.
Did you activate safe? What channel? Did you test as3x?

also trying to get it set up properly...

Can you make a video binding that habu ss 50mm with the Rtf dx transmitter
is it possible with a dxs to do safe select and reverse thrust

Will this work with a futaba 4ch remote?
I believe you need at least six channel radio.
