    Too funny 😁 When I got into RCs, I sucked in a paper towel into my Vipers intake while trying to bind it. Took an hour to disassemble it and remove all the paper towel pieces. 🙃

    Smh I’ve been flying for years and have many EDF Jets and only one turbine F-22 Jet, and I have never heard that, this was the first time. The habu JET is a great plane even the older one that came out a decade ago, and I love what Horizon did with the newer model making it beginner friendly because it captures more of an audience and hobbyists to start flying planes.

    Actually your missing the first two Habu jets! Good luck trying to find them! The eflite Habu 32 and 32x. I had the Habu 32x but lost it in a engine out turn to final...got slow and spun in.

    Just an FYI The Habu is a pretty old design now. Parkzone released the first version back in 2010 maybe even a couple years earlier than that. The UMX wasn't released until 2014. The UMX was a super fun plane too; I wish they would re-release it along with the UMX Warbirds they released around the same time.

    Thanks for the demo, Captain Rock Sucker.
    I lose sight of my quad in the sky all the time, but can hit auto return to bring it back. I'm afraid I'd lose sight of a not-a-jet like that real quick.

    • @zeejimi4044
      @zeejimi4044 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m a drone pilot, and I would like to fly some planes, too. This is a nice plane, but I think I would also lose sight very quickly of it as well. Two functions are therefore amiss here for me : 1) RTH return to home (and therefore GPS), and 2) FPV capability (which could however make the necessity for GPS/RTH unnecessary. Facit : I‘m - still - looking for a plane about this size that offers a bit more than just basic LOS (line of sight) flying.

  • @cyc00000

    Love these jets. When you think about all the RC jets available, these are the best jets of the lot from a value perspective. I'm on to my 3rd jet, I crash one of the jets a few weeks ago and wrote it off, so I just use it for jet parts now for my other jets. The first jet I brought last year still goes ok.

    I started with FPV then went to planes. Learning LOS was extremely difficult for me. Lol But, with lots of practice, I have learned to basic 3D a twisted Hobbies foamie and own a half dozen others now. Planes are great. They are cheap, and easy to glue back together in a crash. And most are very quite. A different vibe then screaming around with FPV.

Can this or any EDF jets be flown with the Radiomaster Zorro? I am trying to expand from quadcopters a bit myself without breaking the bank.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes. The ZORRO is perfectly fine for the RC plane hobby. You'd need the 4 in 1 model and then all you'd need to know is if the RECEIVER in the plane is compatible with your radio. You can plug in pretty much any receiver in a plane because all receivers have channels 1 to 6 for the most part, and on planes the throttle, elevators, aeilerons, rudder each are on a channel, so you plug each of those into the correct channel into the receiver.
