OMG… I did get into a fit of giggles watching you fight with those waves! It started when you giggled at yourself when you couldn’t get the first wave off… and it just went from there! I don’t know what tickled me so much but I laughed until I had tears! I just about got control of myself… when you said “this was supposed to be a cheat, not a nightmare”… and off I went again! My dog thought I was bloody daft!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 Now I’m off to watch the rest of the video! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺
They are really pretty Sue… I love the colours! And the (hilarious) cheat waves look really good. I’ve just finished doing a 40cm round beach in pinks; it is on an MDF board so, obviously, it’s not translucent, but it looks pretty good… I hand coloured some shells to match and, as you said you usually do, I created the waves with my heat gun and gas torch. I want to do a sunset one with oranges, pinks and purple… you could try these colours… I’d love to see!?! Much love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Lovely coasters, perfect if you have pink/purple coloured room, love it when people go against the grain so to speak and do different things xx watching from north east England xx
First, I really enjoy and appreciate your videos and the level of information so freely shared. Second, it is a beach on Mars. Personally, I would prefer the lightest colour to be a bit darker as the contrast creates the impression of a vacuum. But seeing it is on Mars, maybe accurate🙂
Hi there - thanks so much for watching and commenting. I never thought of the Beach on Mars analogy - wished I'd thought of that! 🙄 I LOVE this hobby, so much choice of colours, patterns techniques & things to add.😁🐉
G'day Sue. So glad we have "different" people in this world!! Otherwise it would be a boring world. Love your version of sand. I am not a "pink" person, but that "orchid pink" is a beautiful shade and where did you get the moulds from?
I found them, thanks Sue, and have put them on my long list to buy later on. Now to pluck up the courage to get going with using the resin that has been sitting in the cupboard for quite a while!!
You would have been better to remove your gloves to do the waves. 5 seconds to remove them and 6 to put them on again, would have saved all the hassle fiddling with the transfers 😊. Loved the result though.
When ur timer went off I though it something in my house and went to go check lol 😂😂😂 it actually looks 👀 like the sun is on the sea ❤
I have about three on the go at one time, I forget sometimes what it’s for 😂🐉

I love these! How wonderful are those waves! Yes!
I just love those colours together. Beautiful ❤
Love them!!! I, like you, love doing nontraditional things with everyday themes!!

I am currently working on a beach tumbler with pink flamingos. Those waves would look so good on it. I love the coasters
Great idea!!

Loved the colors...but seriously they look like two pieces of bread with grape jelly and marshmallow fluff and nut bits at the bottom.
Hahaha - now I'm hungry!
Thanks for watching. 🐉
🤣 🤣 🤣 Oh yes… now that you’ve mentioned it!! 😂 ♥️♥️🇦🇺

Hello Dot I got them off Amazon, just put in “square coaster mould “and hopefully they will come up 🐉

Silly question but is the flame touching the resin 😊
No it’s brushing over the top if it does touch it can scorch your resin 🐉
Thank you

I know it’s a case of do what I say and not what I do 😄🐉
