Nobody asked, but... I left the United States five years ago. I've been out of the loop since then, as far as new music goes. Last month I spent a month back in the states, visiting friends and family. One day I was hanging with my best friend of 25 years and he was wearing a Black Pumas t-shirt. I asked him what Black Pumas was, and he played one of their songs. To be honest, I liked it but it didn't blow me away. It was enough to make me curious, so when I got back to México I started down the Black Pumas rabbit-hole. My God. What a band. As soon as I heard "Colors", I was hooked. One of the best songs I've ever heard in my life. These guys are doing something truly special. I hope they keep doing it.

We have much more real quality music than before, the problem it is not mainstream like in the past so some people never found it. A shame.
