Not taking anything away from Eric but the back-up vocals of Lauren and Angela in this song is just perfection. Haunting but comforting. Adrian did an excellent job layering the track to allow them to shine without overtaking the main vocals. This band is easily one of the best things to happen to us.
I listen to this song as least 5 times a day..... It's not just the words.... it's the haunting melody... I can't stop listening... The strings....whew!!!

This whole album has kept me sane through Covid and depression. Finally saw them live last weekend and they were amazing. Blew me away. You can tell they love what they do and how much love and passion goes into what they do.

I am literally sending this song to everyone I know. I didn't know anything about Black Pumas until I saw them on Jimmy Fallon singing "Fire" a few days ago which was beyond awesome. The entire band and backup singers are so in sync. Such a beautiful melodic sound. The voices sound beautifully haunting. Don't let me start on the strings...!!! Totally BLEW my emotions like they were strumming on my ❤️. I certainly hope you get awards, MANY awards.. Your talent is phenom. JaRon has magical fingers on that keyboard and his groove is contagious. The guitars and drums are masterful. . I'm truly impressed..!!!
This whole album has kept me sane through Covid and depression. Finally saw them live last weekend and they were amazing. Blew me away. You can tell they love what they do and how much love and passion goes into what they do.
Only because this was so new, what show? My dad was gonna go to one of their shows recently but it got canceled sadly, might only have been in our area.
