hey just posting what ones i have ... lost in space (ws), batman returns (ws), batman forever (ws), the SAME blade runner (had to throw it out though), batman and robin (ws), jurassic park (ws) and congrats on so many mary-kane ashley vids too, they even have hologram covers, so you can switch between them
I’ve noticed that the Olsen twins have a mention with Elizabeth Olsen is related to them - Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, they did a lot of films in the early 2000s, a Don Henley song had a film named after it and it was New York Minute when they were teens, came out in 2003 which also came out on VHS/DVD.
Nice to see some later ex rentals there. Little fact, I still have my vhs copy of M:I-2, it was one of the few that I just couldn’t part with when I jumped to DVD.
@ well it was a Christmas gift in 2000, I then started buying DVD’s in March 2001 and it just felt a little rude to give it away so soon so I just kept it. Plus it’s my favourite of the M:I films as well 🙂
One day you might come across a PEV small box of Batman Returns or Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Those were marketed exclusively to Blockbuster chains in the UK. Lethal Weapon 3 also had a small box PEV, but LW3 was marketed as a big box rental in the UK. All I have is the rental sleeve for LW3 and also the big box rental sleeve for JFK. Blade Runner was originally released on retail by Parkfield/Warner, but like you said, its a second retail re-issue, but this time distributed by Warner themselves. 1991 was the year Parkfield went belly up. Braveworld distributed Weintraub titles on Warner retail for a short time with the grey Weintraub banner on the sleeves.
Wow. how many rental tapes do you have now. I would like to get some rental tapes, but the cost is too much. I was looking at some vcr players last week on ebay. Maybe one day. My dad had some ex-rentals from like 40 years ago. I have a few Warner titles and entertainment in video ones with medusa and cineplex or something like that. If I was you, I would ditch the retail and keep the rental.
Im guessing the previous owner had a child (presumably both a boy and a girl judging by the tapes) and thus ended up buying a lot of children's tapes in the hope to shut em up
Some decent titles within.
Yes not a bad haul

very true
Pay it Forward has a pretty sound message... but a terrible ending.
I had heard that
