Frieza forces were necessary to make as enemies on frieza's saga and his missions, so from that to making them playable it wasn't that hard, same for Saibamans and most other micellanous characters. I'm sad some other character like dr.gero are not playable but I hnderstand that if a character has too short screen time it doesn't give them much space to make sense inside temporal missions . Also the creators struggle to make up moves for someone like dr.Gero that basically uses none besides the absorbing ability which isn't even an original move because other characters in Xenoverse can already use it. This is why charscters like Whish and Beerus are shit tier, because they use so little moves that to give them playable movesets they would need to make them up, which they can't because it might ruin continuity and cause people to say "well if you can create new original moves from this characters why not foing it for everyone?
It's too bad because this was Yajirobe's last time that he was actually useful

@@beansya8967 yeah and keep in mind that they also added semi-perfect cell in a cutscene not too long ago in order to market The Breakers game, but they didn’t make Semi-Perfect Cell into a playable despite making his model. Take that info as you will.

It then proceeded to mess up the Cell saga. Trunks claims there weren't any Cell Juniors around when Gohan went ssj2. Which is cap. Because we all watched him one-shot them all.

@@justsomenumpty But the entire point of Xenoverse is that you're trying to make specific events occur even though everything around those events has changed. A time traveler showing up to be an extra combatant is a change. Even if Nappa dies later, him being able to be a Great Ape in that fight is a change to history. So at that point, who really cares if it's Krillin or Yajirobe as long as Vegeta's tail is cut? It's just a weird, specific point to nitpick on when the entire premise is trying to get an alternate timeline as close to the original with a few tweaks.
Bruh, timelines in Xenoverse don't even work like how it worked in the Android/Cell Saga and it don't work like either of them in DBS lol it's just shit writing and not giving a damn about continuity

@@AlexGonzalez-cz9gz To make it worse, you can zoom in on that part of him in Photo Mode but if you try it with even the most SFW female CaC outfits, the character will disappear. I also find it annoying Ribrianne is technically the bustiest female character in Dragon Ball.

There is still an actually another error because during Cell’s defeat Yamcha for some odd reason says "Yes, yes I did!" Instead of him saying that Gohan did it!
yep. it's weird as hell but he might be saying he actually survived this time relatively unscathed. at least that's my theory.

Unfortunately for the Vegeta of one timeline, a miscue caused his Moon-energy orb to glow purple instead of white, causing him to become an Oozaru Grape Ape.

I think it is because you have to fix the changes in history the best way you could and having krillin doing it in xenoverse 1 may have a been a way of doing so i mean that great ape vegeta was powered up by dark energy and could most likely have been able to evade yakaorbi also goku wasn't crushed by great ape vegeta in this one anyways like how he was in the original history so there's that and there is also the whole thing with you switch bodies with captain ginyu which actually turned out to be the best route to fixing that time period and so on and so fourth with the other stuff
That is true, however I feel like in this case specifically this was a bit different. Were it just them simplifying it to correct history as close as possible, then they could have just recycled the rest of the XV1 version of the cutscene rather than only reusing some of it and then making these additional changes for XV2. Which makes me believe that it was either an intentional mistake they chose to fix, or something enough people pointed out that they modified it anyway to make it more "correct" for those people's sake.
Regardless of the exact reason, I did just feel it was an interesting difference made and just wanted to share the observation.
@@JustazagZ to be fair the reason they didn't recycle everything from xenoverse 1 because they still wanted the game to still be different overall and not have everything play out the same I mean the xenoverse 2 cac doesn't even get grabbed and brutally beaten up off screen by frieza in the frieza saga if anything they was absent throughout that whole scene, really it just boils down to they didn't want to make the game too identical to its past installment plus in that saga you have to fight both vegeta and nappa anyways which was basically the incorrect history for that one since nappa wasn't supposed to survive when goku and vegeta had their beam clash but the simple term was basically that they just really wanted to do something different without making everything tok similar.
But overall agreed it is indeed an intersting observation and fun little detail that us worth discussing also here's a fun fact for you about some xenoverse moves did you know that all of ssg vegeta's moves actually belong to ssb vegeta and that one of his moves is actually his moves from the manga that move being the prominence flash which is actually the gamma burst flash
They knew that Yajirobe is too OP for Xenoverse so they had to leave him out

There is one more mistake in both xv1 and xv2 frieza kills piccolo first after getting hit by the spirit bomb but in the anime it was targeting goku and piccolo pushes goku away and sacrifices himself
In the game when elder kai says the “little guys” aka the good guys, and also when they say you must correct the timeline it means all you have to do is just make sure you make only tiny changes in the timeline and not huge changes, like if they miss the tail and you have to end vegeta and not try to cut off his tail, because he already knows when they’ll do it now so the only plan is to end him. And if they do that krillin or gohan will have to try and face cui which only goku, and vegeta who is now dead so in other words gohan and krillin will either be killed or badly injured enough not to fight
I actually recently replayed Xeno 1 and noticed Krillin cutting off Vegeta's tail instead of Yajirobe. I just kinda figured that this was one of those cases where they ironed out the details in fixing the timeline after the fact (since they do in fact do that even after you're done to put everything completely to normal).
I didn't know how to use any other attacks except for ki-blasts during that mission.

Stuff like Krillen cutting off his tail instead happen in virtually every level, the main quirk of XV1 and 2 was that the Timeline gets put back as close as possible
They should make a Parallel Quest to unlock Great Ape Vegeta, where in the first fight the enemy’s are Nappa, Vegeta, and Saibamen. Then, it’s Great Ape Nappa and Vegeta, then it’s Saibamen and Vegeta, then it’s Great Ape Nappa and Great Ape Vegeta. For the secret, if you clear in under 8 minutes, you fight (I don’t know what to call it but it’s where they get the aura and a power-up) Corrupted Vegeta, Great Ape Nappa, Corrupted Yajirobe, and Corrupted Krillin. (That was pretty long)
Idk I guess it really wouldn't matter since cutting off veveta's tail leads to the same outcome no matter what
I respect the accuracy later on. But you could just wrap it up to being a timeline change or whatever to save time
I always just assumed that for one it doesn't necessarily matter how it plays out as long as the actions which are fated to happen still happen.
Xv2 seems to take a lot of creative liberty with a lot of this stuff in fact I think there's a couple missions where they outright say "don't worry about what happens you just have to make sure that this certain action plays out the anomaly will just fix itself and play out normally in the scroll"
Lots of little moments have to be cut from the plot all the time. This was just a quick and easy plot change to make to simplify the story.
I think the first one better, because the whole point of Xenoverse is that the timeline is being corrupted, and with a changed corrupted timeline, some stuff in it will change. Whether it’s small changes like Krillin using destructo disc to cut off Vegetas tail instead of Yajirobe in Xenoverse 1 or Goku leaving whatever he was doing to fight Mira and learn everything about the timeline when he shouldn’t have in Xenoverse 2. Changes is what makes the game unique, that’s why there’s almost no game that follows exactly how it goes in the anime or manga. And Krillin cutting it off instead of Yajirobe because Yajirobe wasn’t there in Xenoverse 1 and 2 makes it better because it actually explains who and how the tail gets cut off.

As someone with over 1000 hours in the game having only ever watched a few dbz abridged and the superhero movie, I am mad we don't have yajirobe as a character. We got super sayain hercule(who we have no idea how strong he even is) and we have ginyu and saibamen but we don't have other funny joke characters release ever.

In the Xenoverse games its stated that it has to be close to what originally happened because the Supreme Kai of Time will fix it to have the original events play out before it was altered. This is why the Time patroller of Xenoverse 1 and 2 can't directly beat the main timeline enemies but can help do so and also why no one remembers the patroller because it was fixed to where they never had to intervene.
IIRC that when yajirobe was first introduced he beat a character that Goku lost to. This was also the same Goku who lost but did also fight against evenly against Tien.

It's been a good min since I played the story mode but I'm pretty sure not every story line was fully back to normal, it was as close as they could get it to not disrupt the timeliness too much. Funny how this I think is the only story mission that can actually be fixed by the time patrol because they messed up once them by the time DBXV2 comes out they fix it with (YAJIROBE) cutting off vegetas tail it makes sense continuity-wise
