I recently purchase Amber Aoud and no I’m hooked on Roja’s use of Oud. I saw a deal on Aoud but limited reviews online. Do you get more Rose/Oud or a Woody/Rose/Oud feel? Also curious to know why you choose the Crystal version over the darker juice? Lastly, are you still happy with your purchase? Cheers!
@@TheRealMu-manI get more of a fresh rose/oud(but more woody-ness than oud because it is not very oud heavy at all, which I love) And I got the crystal version just because I kept seeing that the dark version stains clothes very easily, although I’ve heard the scent is exactly the same.
@@SocaTrain I appreciate your input. I’m heading to my local perfumery next week to get my nose on it if Iove it as much as I love Amber Aoud I’ll get it. I’ve been so impressed with my 2 bottles of Roja I’d almost trade half my collection for more of their creations LOL. Any others from the house you recommend? Cheers!
Great review my friend! The problem with Roja Aouds is that when you smell them you don't wanna smell and wear nothing else. If only I was rich enough to wear these blends every day. lol
Thanks for reviewing Aoud. Excellent description. For some reason there’s hardly any videos on it which I find bizarre considering there’s content on Amber Aoud, Musk Aoud, Sweetie Aoud etc. After living with the 7.5ml of Aoud and Amber Aoud, I had to get the bottle of Aoud. It’s really that good and I’d get good use out of it. Amber Aoud is lovely too but I think I’d only use that on certain occasions so the 7.5ml is enough for me. I went with the Crystal version. The 7.5ml was the dark juice and was staining everything!
I was pleasantly surprised with your rating, that is true...you don’t hand out a 10 easily. My sample is on its way, I own Amber Aoud & Musk Aoud so really looking forward to sample this one...BTW the reviews you do with your father are pretty darn terrific✌️
@@atsusanoumegah646 There’s just nothing like it out there, Oriental is my favorite classification in perfumery & particularly fragrances with a strong middle Eastern vibe, so even though I usually get those thru Arabian Oud, Ajmal or ASQ, Roja blends them with that special Western twist…great concoction!✌️
Thanks for the review, I'm going to have to hunt down a decant of this one. I have Roja Dove Amber Aoud and Musk Aoud- how would you say these compare to Aoud in terms of smell and performance? I also really enjoyed your review of Guerlain Aqua Allegoria line- have Pampelune on the way, and would love to try Herba Fresca and Limon Verde. Happier new year :)
In terms of performance they’re similar and last a long time. Aoud to me is not as sweet as AA or dry as MA. But to be honest they all share similar qualities. Thanks for watching.
I have amber aoud and rate it a 10, I. agree c is a 10, Luca Turin bags both of these I think they are amazing. A list of 10’s would be good, Russian oud, git,, Sdv, eo no2, cuir de Russie
Yeah I think Amber Aoud is the most popular one. Haha I haven't read Luca's comments I'll have to have a look. I recently did a '5 perfect fragrances' video. Check it out and thanks for the comment.
Great review. Aoud is my favorite of the oud line. I was able to get my hands on the crystal version, it is just beautiful!

I hear you. I really like the way the fragrances are blended.
Great video, Raj! Thanks for sharing. I hope all is well.
Thanks a lot, Steven.

Roja Candy Aoud is a 10/10
Just bought this, partly in due to your great diligence and superb review. Subscribed
Great to hear. Thanks for subbing.
I tried Amber Aoud the other day in Selfridges, unbelievable just unbelievable.
It’s pretty special. The price though!

I wanna get this so bad. Should I get it if I have amber aoud?
They share similarities but I think there are enough differences to own both. I’d love a bottle but the cost to is too high for me.
595 pounds per 100ml? Still cheaper then Frederic Malle 🤭😬.
Lol yeah The Night is too much for me...in terms of scent and price!
