I was a Jehovahs witness and put 80 hours a week out in the streets, knocking from door to door, almost married a bethalite of the watch tower building in Brooklyn NY, but thank God, He knew my heart of sincerely serving Him ,I was born again thank God

JWs God jehova is satan, never ever mentioned by Jesus as any name of his father, they all are greatly deceived, liers will not inherit Gods kingdom. During the lockdowns I received literature in the mail from a group of JW nearby. I mailed her back a few tracts. We corresponded a few times. Just friendly neighbor stuff. It's my turn next. They actually believe (preach and teach) if you don't attend church on Saturday, you are aligned on that short straight path leading directly to hell. For three years I and two of my younger siblings walked a full two miles (each way) through winter weather to attend a small one room schoolhouse where one teacher valiently tried teaching seven grades a variety of subjects. However, it remains high on my 'good memories' list, but quite low on my academic aquiring skills and plagued me later on when I attended college, where it took me three attempts to finally pass 'Bonehead Enguish'......and is the primary reason I remain the atheist I am today. @MrMore470 I have a different interpretation. If Jesus was below than angels when He became human, (Hebrews 2:9) then it makes sense to say He became higher than them upon rising from the dead. Hebrews 2:5-8 says that God does not put the world under the subjugation of angels, but the Son of Man has the entire creation under His feet, a claim belonging to God alone. All it’s doing is elevating Jesus, not saying He is the angel of angels. 1. Is an angel one with the Father? No, but Jesus was and is 2. Do the angels share the glory of God before the world began? No but Jesus did 3. Would an angel ever accept worship? No but Jesus did! This is evidence enough for me that Jesus was not and never was an angel

I became obsessed with truly knowing Jesus so I did some research into Trinity claims, Mormon claims, JW claims, Islam claims (since they claim that they know the Bible better than Christians, LOL) etc. I found that all of the views can be backed up by verses in some way shape or form. But I just can’t shake the fact that the Jews tried to stone Him BECAUSE He was claiming to be God, which is why I decided to stick with the Trinity. I appreciate anyone doing the same thing even if they come to a different conclusion I did. As long as we are right with Jesus, we will make it to the same place. So that is what matters the most to me. Thankfully, I am not the judge of knowing who is and who isn’t right with Him.

Even Russell stated in his writings that new light cannot cast out old light, it can only increase in understanding and build upon it. However what the organization does now is completely cancel out the previous understanding. God is capable of telling people the truth of his word the first time. He doesnt need to give them misunderstanding, then correct it later. That is what liars do. They update the logic when the previous logic didnt fit and people might start getting a clue about things. The "god" leading JWs is mans own interpretation, not through Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit CANNOT get it wrong. That's what HOLY means. PURE. RIGHTEOUS. RIGHT. He said those who follow MY commandments, those who believe in MY name will be saved. Please read Romans and all of the Gospels in an NKJV translation and completely suspend all your JW thinking for just a short window of time to read the bible in context. Jesus founded a Church. Christ knew exactly what he was doing. He knew his followers will gather in an institution. For him not to found an insitution would be to create confusion amongst his followers, specially since he so strongly urges us to be one and not scattered. There are many traces in the Bible that Christ, besides founding a Spiritual Church which are his followers how have the Holy Spirit, actually founded a physical Church for all of his followers to gather, organize and worship Him in Spirit and truth. And history just proves this. He passed on the authority to his apostles, namely Peter. But ultimately the Church is founded by him. exJW. One of the most power things I learned about coming out of that to Christ was Grace. Where most bibles use grace, the NWT uses "undeserved kindness" which is purely semantics but still too me felt like a much different thing. Grace feels like God loves me enough to want me despite my faults. Undeserved kindness feels more focused on those faults. In honestly i still at times struggle with the old JW mindset and fear that im not doing enough to deserve the reward. A common fear in high control groups that put works first im sure.

The thief on the cross is truly an amazing witness. He did NO good work, he was NEVER baptized, he was just a little earlier in the day also mocking Jesus. But through everything he saw while hanging there his heart was softened and he simply asked Jesus to remember him when He enters His kingdom. Thats all it takes. Know and trust that Jesus is Lord. Its a free gift of salvation that you can not earn. No one earns a gift, you either accept a gift or reject it.
Jesus saw his faith in his final hour. He can read hearts and minds. A baptized person can do what is evil in God's eyes and keeps sinning without regrets and is actually proud of his sins. Even though baptized before, his salvation will be forfeit. So, yes a non baptized person can get saved but God can evaluate that whether he is really repentant or not.

I was raised in the JW'S. It took many years to come to know the "truth ". The JW'S call their religion as the truth, but I always found it difficult to uphold their standards. I have one sister still in it, and she's 75. I pray for her but we don't talk
I was brought up seventh day Adventist which also branched from the Millerites movement as did Jehovah’s Witnesses. I took several wrong turns coming out of SDA but Jesus saved me, even me!! ❤praying for your sister 🙏
I'm praying that my father is saved from that religion, and I have been trying to show him the truth (that this video is showing), but he has accepted their brainwashing... This has been one of the most difficult battles of my life.

Many years ago i studied with JW's for about a year . What drew me too them was they helped myself and young children through a very difficult time . But as i studied more something wasnt right i left . I pray for them as SDA LDS as JW.
When u join JW they are amazingly happy .. as soon as u try to leave their religion , they will disown u and persecute u …& isolate u and never speak to u again Looks like Control to me 😮
Not exactly. If you just show up for a while, then stop showing up... you're welcome to come or go. It's not exactly a big deal. However, if you become an ordained minister, then turn your back on the congregation (either intentionally engaging in actions that appear to contradict scripture, or by joining some other religion), then you're "disfellowshipped." This means you're not considered a valid ordained minister of our congregation. That's it. No one wishes you any harm. No one harasses you. You can even still come to meetings if you'd like... you just won't be called on to participate. If people seem to go beyond "leaving" but seem to have some vendetta, or are otherwise physically or spiritually dangerous to be around... we just leave them alone and let them move on with their lives while we move on with ours. If you've got a suggestion for a more Christ-like response to people that make you uncomfortable than "just leaving them alone," you're welcome to make suggestions?
@@xlo5697 Yeah, that's all that disfellowshipping involves. You're just "no longer considered part of the congregation." It's closer to being "defrocked" than "excommunicated." The thing people tend to overlook is that what lead to being disfellowshipped can have other consequences. For example: If someone assaults a minor, how should they be treated? Whether the family press charges and the court can't prosecute, or they do prosecute, and he serves his sentence and gets out later... Do you have the right to avoid such a person? Or do they have the right to your attention, even if you don't feel comfortable around them... not "because of their congregational status," but because of the actions they took that lead to their congregational status? The disfellowshipping itself means you're no longer recognized as a minister of the congregation. But the actions that lead to that congregational status may reach farther to both social or legal consequences.
Not my experience....I shunned them, by not attending their meetings....not once was I shunned. They gave me space to do my own personal research. Praised be the God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ. ( 2 Corinthians 1: 3 ) This Jesus God made both lord and Christ... ( Acts 2: 36 )

I once was witnessed by 2 Jehova witnesses, i noticed they only choose some verse from the chapter their reading to prove their point, I told them that they have to read the whole chapter you cant just pick and choose what verses fit your narrative. I also asked them who do you call when ypu find yourself in trouble, they said obviously their friend and I let them know that I call on Jesus Christ even if people are doing witchcraft on me and he saves me. They got frustrated with me because i had some knowledge of the bible they haven't knocked on my door since. 😢 I actually like talking to people about God.
I’ve gone solo in my own Christianity (primarily because of politics being used to justify breaking the Golden Rule). It’s really helped with my faith, as I’ve seen both JW’s and even some Christians commit the cruelest acts in the Lord’s name. The one downside is that I have few people to talk to about my faith. God’s people may be fewer in number than we know sadly. That, or just scattered to the wind

I listen to God above all, and won’t hesitate to go against any person in any position if not doing so would violate what He has taught me, even if it comes from other Christians. Jesus gave us the answers. He taught us kindness. Remember, we don’t have to agree on subjects, but regardless of our belief, it’s not justification for violating the Golden Rule.

I’m so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing some true Bible, believing Christians into my life when I stepped out in faith to witness for Jesus with a gospel sign that God told me to make and stand with. Since I have obeyed he brought people into my life who are true Bible believing Christians, in spending more time with Jesus, and becoming more serious about my walk with God. He revealed to me that even though I watched lots of preaching videos, and Christian content, my heart was far from Him. It brought me to repentance and full surrender, and God prompted me to lay down all the idols that had slowly crept back into my life, the excess viewing of TH-cam being one of them and have helped to renew my obedience to the Lord and encourage me, and yesterday, while we were out preaching in the streets, a woman gave her life to Jesus Christ so I would like to ask all who read this if you could, please pray that Shannon would be filled with the desire to read God’s word, and to surrender her life and her will to him to overcome the addictions that she is struggling with. From experience the hardest thing to do is get through to a Jehovah's Witness to tell them the truth of the Bible the true gospel, and the fact that you Ray Comfort were able to at least plant that seed in their minds they will hopefully see that the Jehovah's Witness cult is not the way to go, and it does not matter how many doors you knock on
I heard a guy say about 25 years ago, one of the best ways to talk to a jw is tell them your testimony!!!. if you guys talk Bible, you'll be there on the doorstep at 3am still going back n forth. But a testimony, they cant argue with that!!!
Something I have learned as a 40 year long Christian is: Any organization that tells you that they are the one true church going to heaven is likely a cult. Luke 9: 49-50. John 4: 20-24. 1 Cor. 1: 10-13.
But isn't that... any religion then? Catholic churches declare to be the real church, and deny the orthodox, while the orthodox church declares the same thing. Even protest denominations say that they have the correct interpretation.
@MrMore5450 The way is indeed narrow, but those few that are entering in are not from that one denomination. There are true disciples in many different churches, and some not even part of an “organized “ church. There are many false religions that claim to be the only ones on the narrow path. THIS is the mistake. JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life, not their denomination. Through Christ we enter heaven, NOT by men. The woman at the well asked Jesus this very question. Where to worship, and Jesus told her that those who worship God, will worship in spirit and truth, not in this “ building” or that building. Did you look up the scriptures that I listed in my comment? Also, you will know true disciples BY THEIR FRUIT. Those who obey God’s commandments by his Holy Spirit show the work of God in their hearts. Good trees bring forth good fruit! If Christ dwells in me, it should be evident in my works. They are not my works, but Christ’s works in me. ❤️
@MrMore5450 It is not different “ truths.” There is only one truth, but people are in different places of maturity. A two year old will not understand what a 20 year old does, and so on. Every decade that I am a Christian, I can look back and see my growth in Christ. There are also those who pick and choose what they want to from the word of God, so they have a form of godliness, but deny the power of God to change. Each of us in every church must “ work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.” ( as the word says) You will stand before God alone, and give an account for what you have done while in your body. It can be difficult to find a church that is obedient to the word. Remember, the first disciples met in HOMES, where accountability is more manageable due to the smaller number of people. Jesus told us his message: the gospel according to godliness. We are to preach it, teach it, and live it!!! Christ in me, the hope of glory!
Thank you Ray and team for this. I had a good conversation with 2 Jehovahs Witnesses at my house. I told them about Living Waters after i also tried to explain that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirirt are one. That the earth is not heaven , it was interesting and i think i may have gotten through to at least one of them i pray. ❤ 🙏.

John 1 says that Jesus was in the beginning was with God and was God. In Acts 20, it says that God purchased the church with His Own Blood, but it was The Blood of Jesus as is revealed throughout Scripture.

What are the first thing they did at my house was asked me to download an app so I can get a free Bible. Told them I've already got several Bibles a KJV and nkjv and NIV and the ESV. They were like "yeah but we really do encourage you to download this one and read this one." And I said "yeah that's because you actually change the words of the Bible and want me to read that version." They IMMEDIATELY said "ok have a nice day." And walked off. They were COMPLETELY closed off to ANYTHING that might challenge their cult.
I felt harrassed by them recently. Two came to my door. But then a few weeks ago another woman had written a letter 2 me when i wasn't home. Thought that was inappropriate.

SDA just believes common Protestant doctrines, not like Mormons. We believe in the Trinity We believe that Jesus is 100 % God and 100 % human We believe he died on a cross for our sins We believe in his resurrection. And we believe faith alone saves. Please don’t spread hate or misinformation, you have to believe all these things in order to be considered as a Christian, JW and Mormons don’t, SDA do believes in all theses fundamental beliefs… I was raised in the SDA church and it’s just a regular denomination, I never saw abusive behavior or control by fear like in a cult. You can enter a SDA church and people will be nice to you, you can’t enter a Mormon temple or JW temple… Sorry for my bad English it’s not my mother tongue

@@stoner2439 We just believe archangel Michael is another name for Jesus before he was born on earth, but He is not an angel Jesus is the everlasting God, not a created being ! The word archangel in the Bible simply means who is above all angels, and Micheal means : who is like God. The Bible was not written in English. And the word angel does not systematically refer to created angels, it also designates a messenger. Jesus said the Father sent me in John 20:21. That doesn’t mean He is not God, this is showing his appartenance to the Trinity. Please don’t say a Christian Church is a cult just because you don’t agree on their doctrines…I don’t know what church you attend, but I will never say you’re in a cult just because I disagree with you. I respect you but please don’t fall on Satan’s trap of judging your brothers and sisters in Christ…
@@Azyo62 The word archangel comes from a Greek word, archangelos, meaning “chief angel.” It’s a compound word formed from archon (“chief” or “ruler”) and aggelos (“angel” or “messenger”). The Bible suggests in several places that angels have a hierarchy of leadership, and an archangel seems to be the leader of other angels. I am going to leave this debate with this last bit of information.
I used to work with a guy who was a Jehovah's Witness. One of the nicest people I've ever met. Breaks my heart still thinking about it. I hope that God continues to use people to break into their false beliefs and open their hearts to the gospel. I did my best to share my faith with him. I can only pray at this point because I don't really see him anymore.
My relationship with God is between Him and I. And many times He has warned me through my very being of when I'm being led astray by these so-called 'devout'. We had 2 JW come to our church and put on nametags that didn't belong to them while soliciting their version of the gospel DURING the pastor's sermons. The pastor told them that they are welcome to the church to praise the Lord, but come to the Father 'as you are' (subtle suggestion to knock it off about bearing someone else's nametag). Two nametags were given-proper to them so they could attend honestly.

Half truth, twisted truth, they’ve fooled us all. If we had the full truth we’d be living like the first Christian’s in acts 2:44 but because our heart are greedy, we leave the poor starving, exploited and killed.
This video convinced me that JWs are correct. Jesus is NOT God! Does the Trinity Doctrine Make Sense or is it Nonsense? Since the Trinity doctrine claims Jesus is also the one God, an Adventist author from the 1800's wrote,"To believe that doctrine, when reading the scripture we must believe that God sent Himself into the world, died to reconcile the world to Himself, raised Himself from the dead, ascended to Himself in heaven, pleads before Himself in heaven to reconcile the world to Himself, and is the only mediator between man and Himself…… We must believe also that in the garden God prayed to Himself, if it were possible, to let the cup pass from Himself, and a thousand other such absurdities." Was part of this cult for a very long time. Used to preach that gospel. When I found out I was wrong, it completely rocked my world. I was cut deep to my core. My family is still in the cult. I pray every day that they see the light.

I am ex Buddhist, I got saved by God in my room when I cried out. It was all Jesus even tho at the time I didnt know who God was but I said the Gospel from a comic I saw online because it was about “hell” and Buddhists are interested in the supernatural so when I called out to God with the Gospel, I didnt understand it completely but I meant it with all my heart and said “God if you are real I will surrender my life” then I confessed Jesus as lord and that he died for my sins on the cross and rose again, then asked God for his Holy Spirit and he saved me in an instant. Thats how I got saved, then Ive sought out who God is and only this last year I read the Bible for myself and God just revealed its all Jesus. Jesus is God’s Mercy to us sinners, we can choose to accept or deny. ✝️
Our family had JW that kept coming. We just made friends of them. Mostly we would have general discussions. They would read some verses and talk about their beliefs but we just let them be. We went to visit them and they were always helping us with various things. The organisation is bad for those that get brainwashed easily. As with most people, despite the beliefs they hold, you can find some common ground with things to talk about. No need to fear them but for many that have become part of them they have had their lives greatly affected/destroyed. That is the concern.

According to God's word we are commended to not have fellowship with them nor allow them to come in our homes, not even greet them. For he who does this partakes in their evil deeds. It cannot happen that a small percentage of humanity was fortunate enough to hear about the doctrine, believe and be saved...meanwhile everyone that missed out gets discarded. The only way is there is a truth that existed before Jesus and Christianity. A truth that everyone has equal access to, from any time in history, any mental capacity, everything considered. I cannot see people of other beliefs as different from myself that should be cut off. I have family in this trap. It’s awful and incredibly hard to overcome. I used to be very upset with them, now I’m sad because we truly are in the last days. The antichrist is walking the earth and time is short to make things right with God. Prayers for them all.
It would also be beneficial to mention the 1975 failed end of the world prophecy to the Jehovah Witnesses. Many people left the organization after the prophecy failed.

I am a Christian and take my role as a loving aunt very seriously. I have always prayed for my nephews and nieces fervently. My 22 year old nephew has been playing dungeons and dragons for many years. I believe it has stopped him from prospering and hearing the good news. I just keep praying for his salvation.

After having family members in JW. and nearly marrying a Mormon, if I had to say which is worse, it be the Mormons. Both are cults, but LDS history and just what they could be capable of is worse. A good start would be to watch the movie 'September Dawn' its based on the true story of how some LDS members conspired and kill some Christians passing through Utah in the 1800s.....and what is really so odd is the fact of the date, they killed them-September 11th!
I was heavily involved in Mormonism in the early 1980's ~ 2000's and can tell you, just like JW, those who are trusting in these false gospels, they have hooks in deep in their minds, and I can only hope and pray that more people in these false gospels will have their eyes opened, and they will come to know the true word of God. I am so thankful for learning the truth, of getting out and staying away from Mormonism. I feel genuinely terrible for all my friends and family members who are still hooked in these false gospels of Mormonism, JW, and others. It is frightening knowing that MANY will will be cast into hell in the end, because they believed in a false gospel, a false teaching, a false Messiah, making God into a mortal man who ascended into Godhood (Mormonism) and all the different things JW teaches. We are witnessing the end of days, literally with everything that is going on in the world, and it will only get much much worst before the end comes. I am beginning to understand how real the struggle is, and why Jesus told us to hold on tight to our crowns of righteousness, the goal we all have, to place before his feet in honor, thanks and to give him the praise and worship he is so worthy of. The thought of being away from God's presence terrifies me, and sometimes even I allow my emotions to cast doubt if I am truly saved, but that is coming from the enemy, for if Satan can move born again Christians into apathy, into fear, to make them unable to do the will of the Father, all the better as Satan continues to do everything he can to deceive the masses, even the very elect if it were possible.

I remember a little bit ago, Jehovah’s Witnesses came to my door and my mother answered it. 10 seconds into their talk, my mother (who’s a 7th Day Adventist while I’m a Christian) said to them “we’re 7th Day Adventists. We don’t believe in that stuff so have a good day.” And she shut the door. Later, I talked to my dad (who’s also a Christian) about it and he said that he had a similar experience with JW’s. But instead, he actually went to his Bible to point out the divinity of Christ. He warned me about how JW’s have their own translation of John 1:1 and that they’d expect you to turn to that. Rather than do that, my dad went to several other passages that proved the divinity of Christ like Him forgiving sins or Him knowing the hearts of men or Him saying “before Abraham was, I Am” to show He is eternal. I wish that I could’ve done the same when the JW’s knocked on my door. Rather than see it as a burden to have to spend time answering them, see it as an opportunity to share the gospel with them. It could be God’s will that led them to you that day.

When I talk to many jw’s and Mormons in Philippines. I ask them this question: do I need to be a Jehovah witness ( or ) a Mormon to gain eternal life? ( notice I avoid using heaven or hell, because it can lead to another rabbit whole , shy away from them, just say eternal life) most will say yes. So then I tell them so I need Jesus + being a Jw or Mormon to have eternal life? Then you see them getting uncomfortable. Then comes the distractions, to get you off the topic. Imagine telling the LORD that he ISNT ENOUGH , but I also needed to become a Jw or Mormon. That my friends is blasphemy. Telling the Lord his blood wasn’t enough. 😭😭😭. I have had a few tell me only Jesus. Then I say then why do you pursue me if being a Jw or Mormon is irrelevant ? Shalom.😊
I still remember when some JWs came and knocked on my door as a kid. My mom let them in and talked to them for a while, but suddenly realized what they were up to when they said something about Mary. They don't believe in the Virgin birth for some reason.

They believe the Pope as a Godhead because they see the Pope as the mouthpiece on earth representing the holy Ghost as a mouthpiece to the nations. God cannot die, he is Alpha and Omega, yet Jesus was dead for three days and somehow resurrected himself even though he was the same person. They had to be their own individual selves just like a real father and son. A son cannot do CPR on himself to revive himself but his father can. That's why the Trinity is a joke and you feel for the Jesuits trap of the Nicean Creed. It's purpose was to find common ground with Christian and pagan beliefs. It's why Christmas is tied to the Saturnalia too. It all stemmed from there. You have to know both the father and son. Jehovah and Jesus Christ as their own separate beings, otherwise you forfeit your salvation if you choose to only have a relationship with Jesus Christ and not his father.

Yes, I also had dealt with them for years and years as all 6 of my co-workers (I was the only Christian) were JWs and over the years I gave them lots to think about. The Holy Spirit dealt with them and the last time I talked to a couple of them they had broke away and became Christian's! They thanked me, and actually told me that they knew in their hearts I was right but was afraid of being excommunicated and losing their family. God is good!
I had a friend that was always getting kicked out of bars. Next day he be telling other friends how bad the bar was, and how everyone in the world should stop going there. He’d make up the worst story’s about them. I eventually stopped hanging with him. Truth was it was always his own fault. I understand getting kicked out of something can make you that mad. Whoever, my dad taught me to suck it up, confront the consequences of my actions, and never blame others for them. I do believe that advice has made me a better man. In other words you probably got kicked out because of your own doing. Stop making up stories and move on if you found something better. But honestly, you making videos tells me you somehow just can’t leave.
In reference to the Jehova's Witness verision of John 1:1, "the word was a God", point out to them that ancient Greek never ever ever ever ever had an indefinite article (though it did and does have definite articles) so the insertion of the English article "a" is clearly an incorrect and false translation.

They actually believe (preach and teach) if you don't attend church on Saturday, you are aligned on that short straight path leading directly to hell. For three years I and two of my younger siblings walked a full two miles (each way) through winter weather to attend a small one room schoolhouse where one teacher valiently tried teaching seven grades a variety of subjects. However, it remains high on my 'good memories' list, but quite low on my academic aquiring skills and plagued me later on when I attended college, where it took me three attempts to finally pass 'Bonehead Enguish'......and is the primary reason I remain the atheist I am today. @MrMore470 I have a different interpretation. If Jesus was below than angels when He became human, (Hebrews 2:9) then it makes sense to say He became higher than them upon rising from the dead. Hebrews 2:5-8 says that God does not put the world under the subjugation of angels, but the Son of Man has the entire creation under His feet, a claim belonging to God alone. All it’s doing is elevating Jesus, not saying He is the angel of angels.

I became obsessed with truly knowing Jesus so I did some research into Trinity claims, Mormon claims, JW claims, Islam claims (since they claim that they know the Bible better than Christians, LOL) etc. I found that all of the views can be backed up by verses in some way shape or form. But I just can’t shake the fact that the Jews tried to stone Him BECAUSE He was claiming to be God, which is why I decided to stick with the Trinity. I appreciate anyone doing the same thing even if they come to a different conclusion I did. As long as we are right with Jesus, we will make it to the same place. So that is what matters the most to me. Thankfully, I am not the judge of knowing who is and who isn’t right with Him.

Even Russell stated in his writings that new light cannot cast out old light, it can only increase in understanding and build upon it. However what the organization does now is completely cancel out the previous understanding. God is capable of telling people the truth of his word the first time. exJW. One of the most power things I learned about coming out of that to Christ was Grace. Where most bibles use grace, the NWT uses "undeserved kindness" which is purely semantics but still too me felt like a much different thing. Grace feels like God loves me enough to want me despite my faults.

Its a free gift of salvation that you can not earn. No one earns a gift, you either accept a gift or reject it.
Jesus saw his faith in his final hour. He can read hearts and minds. A baptized person can do what is evil in God's eyes and keeps sinning without regrets and is actually proud of his sins. Even though baptized before, his salvation will be forfeit. So, yes a non baptized person can get saved but God can evaluate that whether he is really repentant or not.

What drew me too them was they helped myself and young children through a very difficult time .

Not exactly. If you just show up for a while, then stop showing up... you're welcome to come or go. It's not exactly a big deal.
However, if you become an ordained minister, then turn your back on the congregation (either intentionally engaging in actions that appear to contradict scripture, or by joining some other religion), then you're "disfellowshipped." This means you're not considered a valid ordained minister of our congregation. That's it. No one wishes you any harm. No one harasses you. You can even still come to meetings if you'd like... you just won't be called on to participate.
If people seem to go beyond "leaving" but seem to have some vendetta, or are otherwise physically or spiritually dangerous to be around... we just leave them alone and let them move on with their lives while we move on with ours. If you've got a suggestion for a more Christ-like response to people that make you uncomfortable than "just leaving them alone," you're welcome to make suggestions?

The thing people tend to overlook is that what lead to being disfellowshipped can have other consequences. For example: If someone assaults a minor, how should they be treated? Whether the family press charges and the court can't prosecute, or they do prosecute, and he serves his sentence and gets out later... Do you have the right to avoid such a person? Or do they have the right to your attention, even if you don't feel comfortable around them... not "because of their congregational status," but because of the actions they took that lead to their congregational status?
The disfellowshipping itself means you're no longer recognized as a minister of the congregation. But the actions that lead to that congregational status may reach farther to both social or legal consequences.
Not my experience....I shunned them, by not attending their meetings....not once was I shunned.
They gave me space to do my own personal research.

I once was witnessed by 2 Jehova witnesses, i noticed they only choose some verse from the chapter their reading to prove their point, I told them that they have to read the whole chapter you cant just pick and choose what verses fit your narrative. I also asked them who do you call when ypu find yourself in trouble, they said obviously their friend and I let them know that I call on Jesus Christ even if people are doing witchcraft on me and he saves me. They got frustrated with me because i had some knowledge of the bible they haven't knocked on my door since. 😢 I actually like talking to people about God.
I’ve gone solo in my own Christianity (primarily because of politics being used to justify breaking the Golden Rule). It’s really helped with my faith, as I’ve seen both JW’s and even some Christians commit the cruelest acts in the Lord’s name. The one downside is that I have few people to talk to about my faith. God’s people may be fewer in number than we know sadly. That, or just scattered to the wind

I listen to God above all, and won’t hesitate to go against any person in any position if not doing so would violate what He has taught me, even if it comes from other Christians. Jesus gave us the answers. He taught us kindness. Remember, we don’t have to agree on subjects, but regardless of our belief, it’s not justification for violating the Golden Rule.
I have neighbors who are JW’s and, they want nothing to do with me…I’m fine with that but, I do pray that they escape the cult.

I’m so thankful to the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing some true Bible, believing Christians into my life when I stepped out in faith to witness for Jesus with a gospel sign that God told me to make and stand with. Since I have obeyed he brought people into my life who are true Bible believing Christians, in spending more time with Jesus, and becoming more serious about my walk with God. He revealed to me that even though I watched lots of preaching videos, and Christian content, my heart was far from Him. It brought me to repentance and full surrender, and God prompted me to lay down all the idols that had slowly crept back into my life, the excess viewing of TH-cam being one of them and have helped to renew my obedience to the Lord and encourage me, and yesterday, while we were out preaching in the streets, a woman gave her life to Jesus Christ so I would like to ask all who read this if you could, please pray that Shannon would be filled with the desire to read God’s word, and to surrender her life and her will to him to overcome the addictions that she is struggling with. From experience the hardest thing to do is get through to a Jehovah's Witness to tell them the truth of the Bible the true gospel, and the fact that you Ray Comfort were able to at least plant that seed in their minds they will hopefully see that the Jehovah's Witness cult is not the way to go, and it does not matter how many doors you knock on

There are true disciples in many different churches, and some not even part of an “organized “ church. There are many false religions that claim to be the only ones on the narrow path. THIS is the mistake. JESUS is the way, the truth, and the life, not their denomination. Through Christ we enter heaven, NOT by men.
The woman at the well asked Jesus this very question. Where to worship, and Jesus told her that those who worship God, will worship in spirit and truth, not in this “ building” or that building. Did you look up the scriptures that I listed in my comment?
Also, you will know true disciples BY THEIR FRUIT. Those who obey God’s commandments by his Holy Spirit show the work of God in their hearts. Good trees bring forth good fruit! If Christ dwells in me, it should be evident in my works. They are not my works, but Christ’s works in me. ❤️
@MrMore5450 It is not different “ truths.” There is only one truth, but people are in different places of maturity. A two year old will not understand what a 20 year old does, and so on. Every decade that I am a Christian, I can look back and see my growth in Christ. There are also those who pick and choose what they want to from the word of God, so they have a form of godliness, but deny the power of God to change. Each of us in every church must “ work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.” ( as the word says) You will stand before God alone, and give an account for what you have done while in your body.
It can be difficult to find a church that is obedient to the word. Remember, the first disciples met in HOMES, where accountability is more manageable due to the smaller number of people.
Jesus told us his message: the gospel according to godliness. We are to preach it, teach it, and live it!!! Christ in me, the hope of glory!

Thank you Ray and team for this. I had a good conversation with 2 Jehovahs Witnesses at my house. I told them about Living Waters after i also tried to explain that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirirt are one. That the earth is not heaven , it was interesting and i think i may have gotten through to at least one of them i pray. ❤ 🙏.

What are the first thing they did at my house was asked me to download an app so I can get a free Bible.
Told them I've already got several Bibles a KJV and nkjv and NIV and the ESV.
They were like "yeah but we really do encourage you to download this one and read this one."
And I said "yeah that's because you actually change the words of the Bible and want me to read that version."
They IMMEDIATELY said "ok have a nice day." And walked off. They were COMPLETELY closed off to ANYTHING that might challenge their cult.
I felt harrassed by them recently. Two came to my door. But then a few weeks ago another woman had written a letter 2 me when i wasn't home. Thought that was inappropriate.

I was raised in the SDA church and it’s just a regular denomination, I never saw abusive behavior or control by fear like in a cult.

We just believe archangel Michael is another name for Jesus before he was born on earth, but He is not an angel Jesus is the everlasting God, not a created being !
The word archangel in the Bible simply means who is above all angels, and Micheal means : who is like God.
The Bible was not written in English. And the word angel does not systematically refer to created angels, it also designates a messenger. Jesus said the Father sent me in John 20:21. That doesn’t mean He is not God, this is showing his appartenance to the Trinity.

The Bible suggests in several places that angels have a hierarchy of leadership, and an archangel seems to be the leader of other angels. I used to work with a guy who was a Jehovah's Witness. One of the nicest people I've ever met. Breaks my heart still thinking about it. I hope that God continues to use people to break into their false beliefs and open their hearts to the gospel. I did my best to share my faith with him. I can only pray at this point because I don't really see him anymore.

My relationship with God is between Him and I. And many times He has warned me through my very being of when I'm being led astray by these so-called 'devout'. We had 2 JW come to our church and put on nametags that didn't belong to them while soliciting their version of the gospel DURING the pastor's sermons. The pastor told them that they are welcome to the church to praise the Lord, but come to the Father 'as you are' (subtle suggestion to knock it off about bearing someone else's nametag). Two nametags were given-proper to them so they could attend honestly.
I was involved with JW and left a year later.

In my limited experience, they usually ACT friendly, but will push you follow their reading regiment to show THEYRE right, they dont want to discuss anything outside their precribed verses. I am ex Buddhist, I got saved by God in my room when I cried out. It was all Jesus even tho at the time I didnt know who God was but I said the Gospel from a comic I saw online because it was about “hell” and Buddhists are interested in the supernatural so when I called out to God with the Gospel, I didnt understand it completely but I meant it with all my heart and said “God if you are real I will surrender my life” then I confessed Jesus as lord and that he died for my sins on the cross and rose again, then asked God for his Holy Spirit and he saved me in an instant. Thats how I got saved, then Ive sought out who God is and only this last year I read the Bible for myself and God just revealed its all Jesus. Jesus is God’s Mercy to us sinners, we can choose to accept or deny. ✝️
I left the Catholic church and have many family members still in it sadly so I understand 😢

Our family had JW that kept coming. We just made friends of them. Mostly we would have general discussions. They would read some verses and talk about their beliefs but we just let them be. We went to visit them and they were always helping us with various things. The organisation is bad for those that get brainwashed easily. As with most people, despite the beliefs they hold, you can find some common ground with things to talk about. No need to fear them but for many that have become part of them they have had their lives greatly affected/destroyed. That is the concern.
You are so wrong and ignorant of what God's word says. Please if you are truly born again child of God, please read 2 John chapter 1. According to God's word we are commended to not have fellowship with them nor allow them to come in our homes, not even greet them. For he who does this partakes in their evil deeds. You obviously do not care about their souls, if you did you would tell them the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

@@Jeremiah17910 Thanks. I understand there is truth in the bible but the truth isn't exclusive to it or in the belief of Jesus in the literal sense. It cannot happen that a small percentage of humanity was fortunate enough to hear about the doctrine, believe and be saved...meanwhile everyone that missed out gets discarded. The only way is there is a truth that existed before Jesus and Christianity. A truth that everyone has equal access to, from any time in history, any mental capacity, everything considered.
I cannot see people of other beliefs as different from myself that should be cut off. I agree that within JW religion there is a lot of destruction but I don't fear it or fear I can be sucked into it whatsoever. I just put it aside and see people for their humanity. I have family in this trap. It’s awful and incredibly hard to overcome. I used to be very upset with them, now I’m sad because we truly are in the last days. The antichrist is walking the earth and time is short to make things right with God. Prayers for them all.
It would also be beneficial to mention the 1975 failed end of the world prophecy to the Jehovah Witnesses. Many people left the organization after the prophecy failed.
It was one of several failed prophecies. Did you know they teach that the bad people will be taken off the planet when the rapture happens? They also teach the coming New World Order is a good thing. They are set to follow Antichrist.
I didn’t know about this. I’ve had JW’s come to my door many years ago, but I didn’t know the anything about the Bible during that time. I do recall that they had interesting tactics that I wasn’t equipped to handle and I let them in.

The "falling away" has been incremental and now we see it snowballing with all the counterfeit light out there. Denying the DEITY of Christ and his role as mediator is all part of the end game.

I am a Christian and take my role as a loving aunt very seriously. I have always prayed for my nephews and nieces fervently. My 22 year old nephew has been playing dungeons and dragons for many years. I believe it has stopped him from prospering and hearing the good news. I just keep praying for his salvation.

After having family members in JW. and nearly marrying a Mormon, if I had to say which is worse, it be the Mormons. Both are cults, but LDS history and just what they could be capable of is worse. A good start would be to watch the movie 'September Dawn' its based on the true story of how some LDS members conspired and kill some Christians passing through Utah in the 1800s.....and what is really so odd is the fact of the date, they killed them-September 11th!

I was heavily involved in Mormonism in the early 1980's ~ 2000's and can tell you, just like JW, those who are trusting in these false gospels, they have hooks in deep in their minds, and I can only hope and pray that more people in these false gospels will have their eyes opened, and they will come to know the true word of God.
I am so thankful for learning the truth, of getting out and staying away from Mormonism. I feel genuinely terrible for all my friends and family members who are still hooked in these false gospels of Mormonism, JW, and others.
It is frightening knowing that MANY will will be cast into hell in the end, because they believed in a false gospel, a false teaching, a false Messiah, making God into a mortal man who ascended into Godhood (Mormonism) and all the different things JW teaches.
We are witnessing the end of days, literally with everything that is going on in the world, and it will only get much much worst before the end comes. I am beginning to understand how real the struggle is, and why Jesus told us to hold on tight to our crowns of righteousness, the goal we all have, to place before his feet in honor, thanks and to give him the praise and worship he is so worthy of.
The thought of being away from God's presence terrifies me, and sometimes even I allow my emotions to cast doubt if I am truly saved, but that is coming from the enemy, for if Satan can move born again Christians into apathy, into fear, to make them unable to do the will of the Father, all the better as Satan continues to do everything he can to deceive the masses, even the very elect if it were possible.
We have the SAME gospels as the Catholics, Orthodox & Protestants.

Paul wrote to the Galatians and instructed them to be on guard against other gospels. He admonished that the bringers of these other gospels are accursed.
Following that logic, do you recognize that Joseph Smith and his alleged gospel is accursed?

I remember a little bit ago, Jehovah’s Witnesses came to my door and my mother answered it. 10 seconds into their talk, my mother (who’s a 7th Day Adventist while I’m a Christian) said to them “we’re 7th Day Adventists. We don’t believe in that stuff so have a good day.” And she shut the door.
Later, I talked to my dad (who’s also a Christian) about it and he said that he had a similar experience with JW’s. But instead, he actually went to his Bible to point out the divinity of Christ. He warned me about how JW’s have their own translation of John 1:1 and that they’d expect you to turn to that. Rather than do that, my dad went to several other passages that proved the divinity of Christ like Him forgiving sins or Him knowing the hearts of men or Him saying “before Abraham was, I Am” to show He is eternal.
I wish that I could’ve done the same when the JW’s knocked on my door. Rather than see it as a burden to have to spend time answering them, see it as an opportunity to share the gospel with them. It could be God’s will that led them to you that day.

When I talk to many jw’s and Mormons in Philippines. I ask them this question: do I need to be a Jehovah witness ( or ) a Mormon to gain eternal life? ( notice I avoid using heaven or hell, because it can lead to another rabbit whole , shy away from them, just say eternal life) most will say yes. So then I tell them so I need Jesus + being a Jw or Mormon to have eternal life? Then you see them getting uncomfortable. Then comes the distractions, to get you off the topic. Imagine telling the LORD that he ISNT ENOUGH , but I also needed to become a Jw or Mormon. That my friends is blasphemy. Telling the Lord his blood wasn’t enough. 😭😭😭. I have had a few tell me only Jesus. Then I say then why do you pursue me if being a Jw or Mormon is irrelevant ? Shalom.😊

Im a Trinitarian. God is triune. He exists in Himself in three distinct, eternally co-existent persons, the Father, the Son and the holy Spirit. They all possess the one and only undivided divine essence in its fullness. The Son is uncreated, eternal-begotten and the holy Spirit comes eternally forth from the Father and the Son. The Son was with the Father, He was God, before everything through Him became, that has become.
The Son humbled Himself, made Himself a man and a servant (Phil 2), and in this context the Father became His God (Ps 22,11) and is greater than Him. After His crucifixion, He rose from the death in a glorified human body, was exalted to the Fathers right side, and will now forever be the mediator, the bridge between man and God, because He is both, man and God.
He is the creator, and not a creature, and there is only one God, the triune God.

They believe the Pope as a Godhead because they see the Pope as the mouthpiece on earth representing the holy Ghost as a mouthpiece to the nations. God cannot die, he is Alpha and Omega, yet Jesus was dead for three days and somehow resurrected himself even though he was the same person. They had to be their own individual selves just like a real father and son. A son cannot do CPR on himself to revive himself but his father can. That's why the Trinity is a joke and you feel for the Jesuits trap of the Nicean Creed. It's purpose was to find common ground with Christian and pagan beliefs. It's why Christmas is tied to the Saturnalia too. It all stemmed from there. You have to know both the father and son. Yes, I also had dealt with them for years and years as all 6 of my co-workers (I was the only Christian) were JWs and over the years I gave them lots to think about. The Holy Spirit dealt with them and the last time I talked to a couple of them they had broke away and became Christian's! They thanked me, and actually told me that they knew in their hearts I was right but was afraid of being excommunicated and losing their family. God is good!

I had a friend that was always getting kicked out of bars. Next day he be telling other friends how bad the bar was, and how everyone in the world should stop going there. He’d make up the worst story’s about them. I eventually stopped hanging with him. Truth was it was always his own fault. I understand getting kicked out of something can make you that mad. Whoever, my dad taught me to suck it up, confront the consequences of my actions, and never blame others for them. I do believe that advice has made me a better man. In other words you probably got kicked out because of your own doing. Stop making up stories and move on if you found something better. But honestly, you making videos tells me you somehow just can’t leave.
In reference to the Jehova's Witness verision of John 1:1, "the word was a God", point out to them that ancient Greek never ever ever ever ever had an indefinite article (though it did and does have definite articles) so the insertion of the English article "a" is clearly an incorrect and false translation.
