    #BOL
I overcame agoraphobia, lost 112 pounds, and ran a half marathon in May...and I am training for half marathon number 2.
I didn't celebrate the first marathon, I "WILL" celebrate the next.
    Thank you, Lisa!🕉

I deserve to be celebrated for 1) Finally taking care of my needs by exercising first thing in the morning as well as eating better 2) Being a great Mom to my sons by being involved in their lives and encouraging them in all that they are doing 3) Running a chiropractic practice while also being a caretaker to my Mom and husband, running a food pantry at my church and being the president of a Royal Neighbors chapter that is making a difference in people's lives.

    I celebrate myself for:
    1. Making my first blog and sending out uplifting post.
    2. Taking my life back and loving me fully.
    3. Taking leaps that make me feel alive.
Thank you Lisa for reminding us to celebrate all the things we feel wonderful about. Love you and the things you do.

"I could've done better" I always said that to myself. I used to think that I didn't deserve to celebrate every little success 'cause I didn't do good enough! even though everyone around me was happy for me I wasn't happy for the results I made! I need to start celebrating every little success along the journey, because I am good enough. #IgotmyBOL
Job well done to you Lisa, me and everyone who's watching!! Thank you!

I need to be celebrated because
    1. I am a single mother of 2 kids and I sacrifice and get the job done.
    2. I just open my 2nd business, a children's boutique.
    3. I get back up every time life knocks me down.

BOL! For the longest time when I would talk about my accomplishments I felt guilty. I was a teen mom, in a bad relationship, broke, and trying so hard to succeed for my special needs son. At 19 I was working 2 jobs, I had to hide my keys in my bra, and put my purse in the trunk of my car just so my boyfriend at the time wouldn't steal my tip money.
One day I told my boss... "I'm so done!" He replied "You've said that before. Are you really done?" He went on to tell me something that changed my life. He said " Rosy, who watches your son?" "My parent's." I replied "Who pays the bills?" "Who works?" I said "Me." He replied "Honey, you're already doing it on you're own." Wow.
I used to think that I couldn't talk about that part of my life because it was a fail. But it was because of that fail that I came to my win!
Thank you so much for you're encouraging words. Now I feel empowered to share more of me!

Lisa, this is the second time I heard you say celebrate yourself. I was paralyzed from the waist down, went blind behind the nerve damage. But I overcame by teaching myself to walk again, change careers by getting a life and a health insurance license. Became certified in public speaking, and peer support counselor. And I never never ever celebrated myself not once. Got it BOOL... blind man now walking waiting to shake your hand… Love you

I found my passion and career I love after 10 years of searching, and I made the decision of going for it 😍
I’ve started a healthy lifestyle after two years of eating too much things that weren’t doing any good to me, I’ve lost some weight and I’m really happy about and still committed to keep it up!
I’m gonna receive a money that I used to blame myself for losing but I’m now gonna receive it and I feel so proud because it is money that I made with a lot of work and now im gonna finally see it again 🎉🎉🎉 thank you Lisa, I love they way you speak, you touch my soul... I’ve cried listening to you, but out of joy cause I realize how blessed I am and sometimes I’ve forgotten 💜💜💜

I am celebrating 18 months of dedication to rewiring my brain, fully healing my body in that process. By the power of my own soul I reclaimed the ability to eat all foods from having about 20-25 foods I could eat.
I am celebrating doing this amazing feat while helping to raise my 5 kids, 8 and now under including twins.
I am celebrating learning to love me just because I am human, made in God’s image and WORTHY of love. I love myself by choosing joy in each moment, by continuing to practice blissful visualization several times a day, continuing to practice the new, healthy and true beliefs I now have about myself and life, by enjoying and loving my kids, forgiving myself, eating delicious healthy food that I love, walking 4-5 miles a day outside in my beautiful neighborhood, practicing gratitude as often as I remember, making sleep a priority, and by learning to celebrate and OWN all I have accomplished while continuing to stay forward focused to the life of my dreams!
THANK YOU LISA for encouraging me on this journey and reminding me that there is no such thing as “arrived” I can celebrate how far I’ve come now. And reminding me that there are indeed people who love and want to celebrate me in my life! 😘

I celebrate myself for 1) not giving up on my novel(in progress). 2) setting boundaries in my life so I can be more healthy mentally and so I can serve the people I was meant to serve. 3) consistently growing in a mature woman(reading, pushing, resting and being intentional about growth).

Thank you, Lisa! I deserve to be celebrated for: 1) Getting my kids in better schools and seeing my first son off to college...even though he began in Reading Recovery. 2) Starting a new consulting business and securing several contracts with various school systems to build my dream to "transform education for diverse learners to inspire learning and innovate for excellence". 3) Becoming a published author about "Formative Assessment Strategies for ELLs across the content curriculum". 4) Doing a national podcast about supporting ELLs in the CCSS with Unbound Education. 5) Doing consulting work with TESOL to provide curriculum and professional development resources for schools around the US. 6) Working on publishing two new books about Language & Literacy and Leadership. I guess I do have a lot to celebrate. Thank you, Lisa for reminding me that it is all about adding value to the world and celebrating the small successes. Thanks for all that you do!!

Ding, ding ding!! BOL! When you don't celebrate yourself, you deny others the joy of celebrating you! I felt that!
I was told by peers when I was younger, that loving yourself and "celebrating" yourself is narcissism. I call NO to that! That is small thinking by others who are intimidated by personal greatness. Self celebrating is part of the self esteem journey. We can have humility and respect and still rejoice in OURSELVES!

    #YANA.
1st I will be celebrating that I stopped the blame shame game.
I forgave my past and with that moving on to a brighter future.
2nd I left a toxic relationship due to myself you see since I was living in the past all of my decisions were based off of just that.
Constantly making these decisions and wondering how did i end up feeling overwhelmed looking at my bank account seeing negatives after negative year after year. So I decided that enough was enough and yes I am the Arthur of my own life.
No one opinions or physical nature can stop me from being the best version of TYASIA!!.
3rd I want to celebrate the journey getting up everyday deciding that I am enough..
So with that being said thank you for challenging me and I'm sure everyone who tunes into your channel.
    Your truly amazing!!

    @DLavie-wf5bq 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Thank you, Lisa. I really needed to hear that. I have kept accomplishments to myself because I didn't want others to think that I was bragging and trying to make them jealous. I found that when I share with others, they tend to get jealous and hate. It's not everyone, but even that one person makes me close up. After this video, I will change how I think about celebrating and sharing my accomplishments along the way. Not for nothing, people are going to say and feel how they wish anyway. Right!?

I needed to hear that, “we are all kids in grown up bodies.” Yes, YES!
    3 things to celebrate:
    1. I graduated college in my 40’s while being wife, mother & working full time.
    2. I bought a 50 acre farm after graduation
    3. I am raising cows, chickens, hogs, ducks, goats and dogs alongside my children and grandchildren with no prior education or experience.
Lisa, I celebrate you! The Universe gave you to me a couple of years ago while studying for my BA in Business. I heard and internalized a video from an older “A-Fest” for Mind Valley. I have kept your message of Yes, YES! In my heart since then. I am approaching 50 (I can celebrate that too!). Thank you, Sister!

So many times in my life I have dumbed myself down and kept my accomplishments to myself because I felt I was being a bragger cause others around me were not doing the same.
I would like to celebrate that I am a successful electrician and I was told I wasn’t going to make it in the industry. I would like to celebrate the fact that 10 years ago I was on welfare and living in a one bedroom with my mother two children and uncle. I’ve been so inspired by you Lisa when I listen to your story tears are brought to my eyes each time. I now forward your episode or past lectures to others in my life. Powerful message, Lisa! Today, I celebrate myself for going fully vegan just last year on October 1st. After 3 years of desiring, and pushing for, this goal, I finally did it! I also celebrate my 41st spiritual birthday this month, and I am so proud of myself for pursuing my love of God at the age of 11 with genuine earnestness. Third, I celebrate my perseverance as I have battled depression for 19 years and still won't give up! Blessings to all!

Everything you speak about is a BOL to me! I'm so unbelievably happy to have come across one of your videos and now...i watch you daily for inspiration! Lisa, you give me so much hope for my life! I'm a 49 yr old single mom of 4, I can write some books about what I've gone through! The minute I started listening to you speak in your videos, I felt a turn around in my life, a shift. I can now see great things ahead in my life. I talk to myself daily and imagine how it will be when I will accomplish my future goals. I'm about to start training to get licensed by the state to be a financial advisor in directing people to plan ahead for their future...something a lot of us are not taught. Directing people to invest their money into an insurance to help them in casualty/life/death benefits. The company is having a huge event next week in Vegas, these people are such an inspiration and I'm now getting the "hang out with people you want to be like." Thank you for all your advice, knowledge, love and support you have for every one of your viewers!
    🦋Forever grateful to Lisa!

    3. Staying consistent with fitness and not letting an injury make me give up or put me down

I am celebrating myself that I drink water more and Im making progress with my water intake which I made a clear decision to drink 8 ounces of water everyday for 3 to 6 weeks and increase it and do that until I get to 70 ounces total of water and also because last year I was trying to get off sodas and I did I finally one day drunk nothing but water and no soda and now I look back and think wow I love water now more than I do soda and I do drink a soda every now and then, sometimes. The other thing I want to celebrate myself for is practing drawing this morning. I would also like to celebrate myself for staying on top of my microgoals this week to get close to my macrogoals. One last thing I would like to celebrate myself for is I passed to the 12th grade.I also want to say I celebrate these things but I know these things wouldn't have been possible without the Lord.Mr. Lisa I love and admire you and wanted to say you inspire me I love your videos and you are right, celebrate yourself because it is a long life and it is fuel to keep going, and I like where you said you celebrate yourself for the 4 microgoals you accomplished and #BOL,and I like when you say "We are like little 3 year old kids living in adult bodies,we do over and over again what we get celebrated for" I love you Mrs. Lisa and I'm going to go celebrate myself by doing something I love and enjoy reading a book and I picture myself with a milkshake to celebrate. c) Being an inspiration in style and self-development. This has been my purpose for a while now and I am just now realizing I actually embody it (for other women and myself). I am not perfect and I have my days. However, I am surrendering to the wisdom of asking for help, laying my ego aside. Sitting at the feet of those who can pour into me, like my family/friends and you Lisa, has taught me that. Thank you 🙏🏾.

I deserve to be celebrated. I think about the things I want a pat on the back for and I feel like they mundane and everyday occurances that we as women with many hats, are supposed to do. But I do want to celebrate myself for being mother, celebrate this mother's thirty year old body and the ambition and drive to create a new life for my family. Thanks for this message Lisa, it aligns with what I am going through right now.

    Celebrating myself for:
    1. Making my own decisions-guilt free
    2. Releasing the obsession to fix toxic relationships
    3. Leaning in to the growing pains
Thank you Lisa, I wish you knew the depth of the effect you’ve had on my life since you virtually walked in it 1 year ago. I am as strong as I always knew I was, I’m forgiving of myself , less angry and anxious. I’m a little more business savvy lol, I am more sure of who I am & honest with myself about my limitations & abilities. & all of that has made me a better Mother💗. I feel soo positive moving forward & I SEE the universe has my back w/o a doubt!! Thank you a million times! You’ve sewn a good harvest

Starting at ground ZERO, my micro-goals are weekly... I WILL start small and celebrate the small victories like I did once upon a time in a 12 step program... I will NOT self-medicate and focus on what serves me and my highest good, my OT national boards... This journey is tough when you feel so alone... I am proud of my and all of my achievements, I am just in a "stuck state of mind" and overwhelmed by the subject material of this national board exam... I feel lonely and need to find that fire from within again and take back my power and control my life... I am told often that I am too hard on myself, perhaps I need to start celebrating the small victories, just as I did once upon a time in sobriety!!! I love this, "ENERGY GROWS WHERE ENERGY GOES"... Many thanks and much love Miss Lisa...

I got an unexpected opportunity which could help me get employed so I bought myself a card and flowers, I shared this with my kids, they really seemed to take it on board, don't wait for others to celebrate you, leave your happiness up to yourself, others like is extra. Ok so maybe writing the card to myself seemed strange but I intend to save the cards so when negative radio plays in my mind I have evidence to prove it wrong. I was always paranoid about coming off as a braggart if I showcased my talents too much. That way of thinking i think has really gotten I the way of pursuing my dreams seriously, of being successful at all. I want to celebrate that I've made strides in my art on my own since school, that I've been responsible about saving this past year and made a better example to people in my life how to love and respect me. What you said about your celebrations not just being for you really resonated with me. I know it's true because of how uplifted I feel to celebrate the people I love in my life. I can give that joy to the people that love me by celebrating myself, and by not being afraid of pursuing the small wins that we could celebrate together. Thank you always for your wisdom, Lisa. I've held courage in one hand and fear in the other this whole year because of you and it has given me so much strength. Peace and love💕

I deserve to be celebrate for my growth. I've been reflecting on my roots and how I made it out of my hometown and have been able to sustain my lifestyle and grow (internally and externally). I deserve to be celebrated for my success. Too many times, I had people minimize or undermine my successes. I recognize that these people are closer than I would like to admit; however, it does not make it ok. I work hard and am proud of myself. I deserve to be celebrated for my commitment to myself. This last one is self explanatory.

Thank you so much, Lisa. I found you on TH-cam 15 days into my first inpatient resolve (not attempt) to overcome my 12-year addiction and 15 days of perpetual sobriety (I'm claiming that). You have helped me to see more clearly the possibility of not becoming an inpatient/outpatient recovery "frequent flyer". You know, in and out of rehab so much that frequent flyer miles start adding up.
Thank you for reaffirming that its okay to celebrate my wins. I'm implementing a plan of action that includes me specifying (writing down) what I will do to celebrate my successes. I used to use drugs as a way to celebrate a victory. Now, I will know beforehand and condition myself to expect and anticipate a very different reward; one that I can share with others who are in my corner rooting for me to succeed.
    Thank you!

I have a problem with people celebrating my birthday. I partly don’t want gifts because I’m a minimalist, I don’t feel presents are a love language but separate to this, all my adult life I’ve felt guilty receiving from others. It makes my skin crawl and I don’t know where that came from.

Dear Lisa, how often I´ve heard to stay in the positive and believe in yourself. But through you I heard for the first time, how to do that in a practical way, how to transfer the theory into action. It is not done waiting for something to happen, waiting for something to change. Just like the caterpillar has to do a lot before turning into a butterfly, we have to get into action, if we want something or us changed. And while doing that envision the goal, even goals that seem little at first. Like forgiveness, getting up and getting out and sorting us out and what we want. It is such a good feeling that I can achieve something, I have the power to do so, and I alone am deciding where and how I wanna go and be. Thank you for getting me started in the positive. And beeing positive doesn´t mean that there aren´t bad days, but the knowing that I can and will get past them and that I will grow through them, because that is what I want. Thanks lovely xxx
