It wasn't fear that was holding me back, it was my environment, not having a supportive spouse which I divorced anyway and I am now the best version of myself! Getting rid of negative people not only helps with your confidence but also achieving more prosperity and abundance. 😁
I love how you said you don’t have to be defined by a box. I’m so glad that I was able to go through trials and tribulations while going to college and this month I was able to graduate from college at the age of 21 finishing in 3.5 years and share with the world that I am Travis Jr. and I am not defined by a box or limitations. It’s time to make it happen and I will go hard FOR ME and can’t nobody change that! It’s do or die, I’m making it happen for myself to be happy and it feels so good to have support from you Lisa because we indeed all have wants, dreams , and aspirations I will make sure mine come to life as I am showing the world that life without limits and living outside of a box with no labels is PURE FREEDOM!

Now I'm pulling myself back together and recreate my new self, new identity ... It ain't comfortable but I'm thankful I found you Lisa. You are my sister, my role model... I hunger for your videos because it has shown me so much about my blind spots, that fear is my familiar, my comfort zone. Lisa, I have never heard that message about not allowing your self to be put in a box, put more concise. Amazing. Thank you for that. I have lived my life with people around me wondering where you get the audacity to walk into a room filled with white, black or what ever kind of people and shine so bright as just who am. I was always successful at what ever I chose to do, because I never believed anything I wanted couldn't be for me. I wasn't sure as a young adult. It wasn't something I could explain. I wondered why my peers felt like it was something special. But I later I begin to realize that it was my family. Were black and from Brooklyn NY by way of the south. But, somehow we were not inferior My great grandma who I was blessed to know was not inferior, my grandma who was my best friend until the day she died and my grand father were not inferior, my mom and dad were not inferior. Myself and my brothers and sisters were not raised to be inferior to anyone. Unfortunately Many black folks and Women are some how raised by their families to believe them selves to be inferior. listening to you I'm so happy to know that you can find your way out.

"I allow the label to exist but it doesn't define me" - this is everything, seriously. Fighting against a label would steal our precious energy. Let's rise above and use our energy to realize our dreams despite or independently from the labels people chose to put on us. That's their choice and we don't need to agree - we simply need to live our truth.

I also blocked so many opportunities in the past and the present because of the infamous "life boxes". It is amazing how I came to realize how many lies I say to myself on a daily basis, and the " I am not pretty enough, not good enough, not fluent enough" type of lies brought me to a low version of myself. I am taking actions and decisions to finally become the person that I was meant to be! But it is a long journey and I am so glad I found you Lisa because you resonate with my heart, soul and spirit, and you are such a great example for me to follow that I thank GOD everyday for letting me hear your words! I just discovered you a few months ago and I cannot wait to hear more from your wisdom. Thank you for sharing LOVE and God bless you.

Hey Lisa, born and raised in one of the lowest Country in West Africa(Liberia) which have been through/suffered so many trails, my primary goal is to become one of the world's youngest self made female billionaire(putting my Country on the map)! Along this journey it's really not easy but with God by my side, I've really been trying. And yes! Was going through TH-cam one day and saw one of ur video about your never broke or broken again story. Eversince then, I subscribed to ur channel and as I speak to u now, my life has changed from one stage to another positively! The most effective thing for me is your authenticity, Lisa. I can tell you’re genuinely excited by the truth that our dreams are possible; because you’re living it. Lisa, I'm a big fan of yours. I remember seeing you live when you visited the Costa Mesa/ Santa Ana, CA area a few years ago. I wish you would have mentioned in this video what you spoke about in that conference where you addressed how we have a responsibility to ourselves to address and grieve those labels that have been placed on us in order to move forward as the successful people we are becoming.
Many times, I've held my head up believing I'm a success, but I would run smack into racism and sexism which would set my life back. Knowing these potholes are in the road helps me choose a different path altogether.

I'm someone with negative labels and I'm always serving people perceiving myself to belong in those labels. Nothing I've ever done was good enough because half of the time I'm focused on my labels than my actual job. Everything you said make sense and specifically to me cuz I know what's to live under those labels. Again thank you Lisa and I ask God to bless you!!

I got an ah-ha moment when you spoke about needing to learn business in order to achieve your dream of being a Change Agent. I started a business around coaching and Reiki over 2 years ago but it really hasnt gone anywhere or brought in money and I realized its because I'm always saying how much I hate business. I want to coach and heal but I hate the business end. Its the same with the book I published. I call myself an author not a publisher (even though I self-published my book) cause I hate the publishing/business end such as marketing and building an email list. I realized I'll never be successful in business & publishing if I keep putting out into the Universe that I hate business & publishing lol I either need to get on board or find a different way to share my services that isnt necessarily business related. I was raised to believe that I can walk into any place I want despite the fact that I am a African-American woman. Having done that and been made to feel uncomfortable, I started to question if I really needed to be in those places. From listening to you and working on me, I have learned to remember what I was taught and to change the answer to questions that don’t align with that. For example, if the question is, what are they going to think about me, now my answer is, it doesn’t matter. What matters is why I am choosing to be there and how can I make it sure it’s worth my time and energy.

That right there was my confirmation that I'm on the right path,alot of negativity exists in this world but I choose to focus on the good and positive. #aha There are things I need to unlearn about labels and stereotypes I live in because the negative connotations are toxic to my progress. I also need to make a better point of practicing and personifying the lessons I learn to avoid falling into old habits. There's nothing more annoying than having to learn an old lesson a second time, but it's become clear that, if it needs to happen again, it will repeat itself.

Hi Lisa! I want to say thank you for always giving encouragement and providing information to the masses!
God allowed me to hear about you during the Secrete. I didn't grab whole to what you were saying! A few years later a coworker went to a conference you gave and came back fired up and ready to fulfill her dream in business and left the company. Months later one day I was surfing TH-cam to help me pass the work day and came across an interview you had as well as one with Oprah Winfrey and I listened to your testimonies, which really helped me!
That was the moment, God spoke to my heart and soul, to let me know there was PURPOSE In My PAIN! I am a two time breast cancer survivor and after listening to you and Oprah, I knew then it was time for me to get started on the assignment I knew God had given to me before. See while I was dealing with the thought of being sick, I could see beyond that point, so I hide behind fear and told Faith to wait because I didn't believe that I was smart enough to help anyone! One day after listening to one particular video you were being interviewed in, encouragement filled my heart. I that day, I received a call from a my Godmother, giving me horrible news that she was diagnosed with breast cancer! This was the lady I looked to for strength she was there for me while I was sick. A few weeks later, I got another call, from a sister at my church giving the same news! I then was told by my twin daughters there friend who was only 29 at the time was diagnosed! Lastly a brother in the church stopped me and told me he was a breast cancer survivor but it came back and for me to pray for him. I knew it was time for me to stand up and do something! God blessed me to start my own organization to do fundraising to help the fighters/survivors! The event turned out to be successful and I'm taking it further! In the words of Jeffery Osborne We're going all the way! My quest is to help as many people as I possibly can! I went to Organization that claim to help people and was turned away! My heart still aches behind that! I am determined that "Living Brave Through Breast Cancer Organization" will be a household name one day and it will be known for helping people for real!

Hi Lisa! There is a saying in Portugal that says that we should not evaluate a product by the label, but by the content. What I've been doing over the years was to behave according to the label they gave me: a black woman who, despite her abilities, does not deserve the opportunity to show her value. How could I be so stupid ?! I have become, transforming into that label. Thank you Lisa for the "snap" you gave me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
