My husband and I were married at 18 and 19 and definitely had a lot of maturing to do. It is by God's grace we have celebrated 53 years together. I was happy to hear you say you are doing the things that as a Christian you have to be "intentional" about - church attendance, fellowshipping with like minded Christians, trusting Jesus for your marriage. Being a Christian is an intentional act, growth and maturing in Christ doesn't happen accidentally but with full awareness that our lives belong to Him.

The only reason why we have an amazing marriage is because we have God as our foundation and our marriage is always our first ministry. As someone who did wait until marriage from the beginning, there is no shame in waiting after the fact. Jesus is focused on the heart, and in your heart you both repented of sin. Then worked together not to repeat that sin with your joint relationship in God. That's all that matters
I'm used to having so little that to me the phrase "having more than enough" to survive is rich😄 It seems like our family is just making it no matter how stingy and thrifty we are😝 But money isn't everything and having a good spouse and a baby makes you very rich🥰 In that way I'm filthy rich😁 Got an angel of a husband and baby #7 on the way😍

It's a heap of comfort too to see y'all followin traditional values and roles in yer relationship. It's a mighty rare thing anymore, but it's awfully needed and it works. Now despite tryin and to The Lord's credit, he ain't seen fit to allow me to tangle up with the wrong one, so I ain't never had a date and outside of advice given to me and the King James Version Bible, I can't give no experience based commentary on relationships, but i know well as anybody, and better than some, that times ain't easy and are made unnecessarily so by a portion of the human powers that be. Still, like the account of Job, the ol rascal can't do but what The Lord"ll let him! He knows all things and does all things well, so no matter how it looks or feels like, I read the back of The Book! I know how this thing turns out and long as ye got the blood of Jesus Christ applied to yer heart, they just ain't a heap to worry about. Keep on a doin what ye do and worry about pleasin God instead of man and ye know what?......why, you'll just make this ol cowboy glad to know ye!✝️🇺🇲🤠

As someone who did wait until marriage from the beginning, there is no shame in waiting after the fact. Jesus is focused on the heart, and in your heart you both repented of sin. Then worked together not to repeat that sin with your joint relationship in God. That's all that matters
I'm used to having so little that to me the phrase "having more than enough" to survive is rich😄 It seems like our family is just making it no matter how stingy and thrifty we are😝 But money isn't everything and having a good spouse and a baby makes you very rich🥰 In that way I'm filthy rich😁 Got an angel of a husband and baby #7 on the way😍

It's really great that you guys but Christ 1st in your lives and in your marriage always put Jesus 1st always because hes the one that will take. You through the hard times in life the suffering that you'll go true and there will be that.
