I don't know if anyone's pointed this out yet. But if you beat the man from the window 2 on the hardest difficulty, the ending shows J.P. Vermander (from Zed Technician's other game the Vermander Curse) delivering the takeout to mama rabbit and her granddaughter. I love the fact that Zed's games are set in the same universe.
And another interesting note that I noticed is how J.P.'s first initial is revealed to be Joseph. Similar to the ghost in Midnight Maid Night, so his full name is Joseph P. Vermander
When Mama Rabbit says "We're gonna go through the book together this time, okay?" and "You're gonna have to learn this for yourself" I think it implies that the man from the window haunts the family many times in between the 1st and 2nd game. The fact that she said "this time" seems to indicate that...

If you get thte good ending on "tough mode" a person comes to deliver dinner (a cameo from another game, idk who or what). Then Grandma Rabbit talks to Junior about the recent encounter wiht the Man when Junior gets home from work, and says that Audrey handled herself well and might even be ready to handle things on her own if necessary, suggesting that a 3rd game is on its way. Really great video other than that!

I think it's entirely possible the man himself is delivering the book. It could be a condition of whatever allows him to arrive and take someone away. He has to provide forewarning of his existence and arrival and provide adequate time for the targeted individuals to hide. If the individual fails to do so, he gets to take them. Given that he failed to catch Mama Rabbit and her son the first time, he grows angry and tries to cheat, but he can't just rip out the pages and destroy them, he has to leave them behind for Mama Rabbit to find. Otherwise, he'd be failing the condition of his appearance.
That's also why he cannot use the whole 5 minutes he had in the first game, since he made it more difficult for the two to hide, he is "nerfed" accordingly by only being allowed to search the places he told us he was going to search.
this developer is little by little building an amazing world! with weirdly unique designs, but at least they keep their signature! Zed Technician is a rising developer in the horror puzzle genre, his games aren't necessary scary, and it's literally the same exact game but the set up is different, YET Zed Technician is always capable of making every single game stand up alone in its own! amazing!
There is actually a secret ending, where you get an extra cutscene with Junior and Diane and they are discussing the events of that night, then they go on to talk about Audrey and how brave she is. I am unsure how you get it, I think you just lock the door with the keys or something, you also see who delivers the food to the door. When you complete the secret ending you get a red star on the menu.
I really hope that the developer for these games possibly makes a prequel for this series because I want to know more about how the Man became to be. Edit: I'm glad that I'm the only one to think this! Thank you for the likes and thank you for the people who commented.
My theory is that the Man from the window is delivering the book himself. Almost like a little game. He gives the people he is planning to take away a chance to hide. In the sequel he tore the pages, because he thought the first time around it was a bit too easy. Hence why the pages were found inside the same home the rabbits are living in. If they can find them on time, read the instructions and hide they will succeed in avoiding him, but if they don't get to all of them on time, it makes it easier for the Man to take away someone. :)

I like how Zed builds all these games within the same universe. The worldbuilding is slowly fleshing out and it's cool to see connections between games even if they aren't sequels or prequels to each other, but all together they make an interesting timeline for the backstory of that town itself 😊 Guess we like humble simpler things instead of full fledged AAA games that are poorly optimized or half-baked. If it's enough to motivate Zed into producing more ideas, I'll keep following him to see if he ever does the step into making something "bigger" with all the backstory of the town. I just hope none gets peeved by his style for the anthropomorphic animals if he gets more popular.

Later that night, junior comes home and is told by his mom about the man returning, but that both she and Audrey survived. They now believe that Audrey will be ready to handle the man on her own when the time comes. This opens up the possibility of another sequel coming in the future.
There is an extended ending in the second game if you beat the game on hard mode, where Jonathan Vermander shows up as the food delivery guy (completing his arc as seen in Curse of J. P. Vermander) and may indicate the first game is set earlier in the timeline than the others in the dev's catalog thus far (as Jonathan still looks the same age, but Mama Rabbit and Junior are visibly older). It also gives a bit more closure, but also imply that Audrey will one day need face the Man herself without them in the future.
I honestly kinda love the redesign of Diane rabbit for the second game. All three of the character designs in that game are quite charming (I'm not counting Vermander cause he doesn't belong there really XD).

Also on the sequel I think there's another bad ending you can unlock if you leave the blinds open. The man sees where both of them hide and the closest one to the door dies. It's a different ending to when either of them are found.

Can we talk on how junior is working with a company who just survived an ancient invasion through their front doors, I can just imagine a talk in the lounge with someone like Gracie and he tells the story about how he and the rest of the night shift crew just stop an ancient invasion and then junior is like "wow, looks like you have been through stuff too" and then Gracie says something like "what do you mean?" then Junior explains how he and his family have been invaded by a being that tried taking them away on more then once, and then the 2 laugh and joke about, if there's another demonic entity, then this company is definitely ready to last against it
Fun fact: at least for the squeal if you play the higher difficulty, you'll get a different ending... Spoiler: If you beat it on hard mode, when Ma opens the door , we would see J.P. These games are super fun and I enjoy the mechanics… though the art style definitely makes them a hit or miss experience. I’m glad for the creator sticking to it though, as they obviously enjoy it!
I was listening to another TH-camr doing an ending explained on this game, I was listening to it while I was at work. I work security, and I live inside the property, standing at a big window as per usual, When he included tapping in the video, I kid you know I felt like my heart sank into my feet and actually turned around. Of course, nothing was there, but I have special speakers in my glasses, so I work and listen to stuff. The way the audio was coming put made it sound like it came from outside, I even tapped the glass and sounded exactly the same. Needless to say, I didn't sleep that night
Did you see the hard Mode ending? It's slightly different than the good ending. It has a cameo of JP Vermander in it XD also you can kinda see the man in the mirror when he checks the bathroom sink and he looks really strange
There's actually 4 endings in the man from the window 2, the 2 Bad Endings are the same regardless of difficulty, however the good ending is different depending on what difficulty you played on, also on normal mode the man only looks at 6 of the 10 hiding spots while on tough mode the man will look through 8 of the 10 hiding spots, in the man from the window 1 there is only 2 of the 5 hiding spots that mama can hide in while Junior can hide in all 5 of them
This might be an answer, one that might surprise you. But what if the book is full of souls that guide you. Over and over this man has hunted making new friends that now shall haunt him. This book is what the man's friends have made, now taken and dragged away. To save those from the fate ever so severe, they've made a book to stir the wheels. However, the man at the window isn't a fool, his anger has risen once he knew. Torn the pages he would do, to make sure his old friends would not save the news. But fear no his victims were ready, making new pages and hiding them when ready. So be calm, be steady, and ready to aim. Look for the pages inside the game. Find them all and learn his pattern, after all you have no time for chatter. He's coming and going he's got no patience to wait, will he make a new friend at this late?
Feels good to be watching SHB again and also feel regret. Used to watch him back in the day when I burned my house and ran away. Watching him calmed me atm and now it makes me feel a lot of regret. I still struggle with life. Even your vids can't help it. But it calms me a while and entertains me.
I love how interconnected the Zed Technician's games are! Like, they even show little easter eggs of the other games, proving they're all set in one universe. Anyway, I would love to see a thrilling end to The Man from the Window. By that, I mean someone in the rabbit family putting a stop to his curse or something. From the look of it, this accursed hide-and-seek is a recurring thing in the family. Hinted to us players when Mama Rabbit told Audrey something like having to learn to do this by herself.
Since the man ripped the book pages, he may be the one who places the book at the doors of his targets...... maybe that's a caveat for him to be able to search for a new friend..... he has to leave clues so people can "choose" to hide or willingly go with him. It would be cool to have a game take place wherever the man goes during the day.

You're missing an ending where Mama and Audry greet the delivery man. In the sequel that isn't the second time the Man shows up. If we pay attention to what G-ma tells Audry, the Man had showed up at least once before this time tearing the pages stating that he is angry. If this was the second time he showed up then they wouldn't know why he ripped out the pages. And wouldn't know that they had to put them back.
You missed a secret ending! You get it by winning the game on hard mode. Also, I’m fairly certain the man has visited Diane and Junior several times between the first game and the sequel.
Perhaps the book is like some sort of curse put on the man by someone. To insure that he’s less likely to capture people. This would probably slightly explain how he was able to rip up the book in the second game. It would also explain why the book correctly predicts where he check, either by saying what he is planning or more likely he has to follow the rules in the book.
I'm a bit late to the party BUT I think it ties back to the Zed's old and deleted games: The Bit More Know. You know of zero BUT it didn't include the main villain. Which was a sentient radio. Said radio might be telling their stories and summoned the man from the window and used a book to pass said curse to both tell his story outside of those in his range, and to let the man from the window have a friend to play with since his creation. The person who might be bringing the book must be June, the radio's caretaker.

Hi superhorrorbro, big fan of your content. There's actually a fourth ending in the man from the window 2 that you can get if you beat the game on hard mode.
If there's a third game, maybe the Rabbit family will try and do some detective work to find out about the Window Man's origins or set up a trap to finally capture him.
Tbh I don't think an Angel delivers The book, but the Man himself. Like the Babadook, this thing chooses a random family to haunt and places its book in their home when no one is there. It can only be summoned and "invited" into the home by opening and reading the book. The Man seems to be supernaturally bound to The book as well, as it follows the rules to a T. The Man can alter the book such as tearing out the pages or rewriting the story to fit the layout of the house, but seems to have to have it near him at all times. Torn out pages also make its way to the house, slowing down the family's chances of surviving, but not completely guaranteeing they'll be caught either. The Man does however seem to be incredibly sadistic and take pleasure in the family's fear, as it giggles and smiles all the time while hunting for his friend. Also, the wording in the book as a nursery rhyme shows he is mocking the families he terrorizes. The Man also seems to hold grudges and be extremely impulsive, as you can tell by his increased speed, kicking down the doors, and tearing out the pages in the sequel. It also seems to have superhuman speed and strength, as it can lift Mama, who is obese, without effort and disappear into the night in an instant.

I know ppl have probably pointed this out already, BUT. 1)Mama Rabbit & Jr. seem to be in POVERTY in the first game. 2)The story has multiple similarities to The Babadook. In both the film and this game a single mother & her son are warned by a story book they'll soon be visited by a malevolent supernatural entity with big beady eyes and a big toothy grin. This suggests perhaps Mama Rabbit lost her husband recently and had to sell a lot of her stuff after he died to support her & Jr., and that's why she needs to work such long hours.
I may not be the first one to say this, but you missed an ending in tmftw 2. To get the ending set the difficulty to expert mode, then Diane and Audrey need to both survive, after this the ending is bit different with Audrey not running when there is a knock on the door, the pizza being delivered in person(with an easter egg) and junior comes home and Diane explains Audrey’s bravery.

here's 2 things that the man from the window might be: either a demon who was summoned via ritual to get souls for the underworld OR he was a normal man died of loneliness and haunts the world to find a relative ie: a family member or someone who may have the same connection to said family member either way it seems the man from the window hunts down certain people

Did you see the hard Mode ending? It's slightly different than the good ending. It has a cameo of JP Vermander in it XD also you can kinda see the man in the mirror when he checks the bathroom sink and he looks really strange
There's actually 4 endings in the man from the window 2, the 2 Bad Endings are the same regardless of difficulty, however the good ending is different depending on what difficulty you played on, also on normal mode the man only looks at 6 of the 10 hiding spots while on tough mode the man will look through 8 of the 10 hiding spots, in the man from the window 1 there is only 2 of the 5 hiding spots that mama can hide in while Junior can hide in all 5 of them

Feels good to be watching SHB again and also feel regret. Used to watch him back in the day when I burned my house and ran away. Watching him calmed me atm and now it makes me feel a lot of regret. I still struggle with life. Even your vids can't help it. But it calms me a while and entertains me.
I love how interconnected the Zed Technician's games are! Like, they even show little easter eggs of the other games, proving they're all set in one universe. Anyway, I would love to see a thrilling end to The Man from the Window. By that, I mean someone in the rabbit family putting a stop to his curse or something. From the look of it, this accursed hide-and-seek is a recurring thing in the family. Hinted to us players when Mama Rabbit told Audrey something like having to learn to do this by herself.

Since the man ripped the book pages, he may be the one who places the book at the doors of his targets...... maybe that's a caveat for him to be able to search for a new friend..... he has to leave clues so people can "choose" to hide or willingly go with him.

You're missing an ending where Mama and Audry greet the delivery man.
In the sequel that isn't the second time the Man shows up. If we pay attention to what G-ma tells Audry, the Man had showed up at least once before this time tearing the pages stating that he is angry.
If this was the second time he showed up then they wouldn't know why he ripped out the pages. And wouldn't know that they had to put them back.
The idea of baracading yourself in a place to run down a timer to distract a monster reminds me of the first Don't Escape

You missed a secret ending! You get it by winning the game on hard mode. Also, I’m fairly certain the man has visited Diane and Junior several times between the first game and the sequel.
Perhaps the book is like some sort of curse put on the man by someone. To insure that he’s less likely to capture people. This would probably slightly explain how he was able to rip up the book in the second game. It would also explain why the book correctly predicts where he check, either by saying what he is planning or more likely he has to follow the rules in the book.
Did you cover the fact that there’s a secret ending in the second game where the man leaves early because he runs out of hiding spots to search
I'm a bit late to the party BUT I think it ties back to the Zed's old and deleted games: The Bit More Know. You know of zero BUT it didn't include the main villain. Which was a sentient radio. Said radio might be telling their stories and summoned the man from the window and used a book to pass said curse to both tell his story outside of those in his range, and to let the man from the window have a friend to play with since his creation. The person who might be bringing the book must be June, the radio's caretaker.

If there's a third game, maybe the Rabbit family will try and do some detective work to find out about the Window Man's origins or set up a trap to finally capture him.
The game is telling that Audrey is gonna protect herself from the man in the window. So expect for upcoming sequel.
Tbh I don't think an Angel delivers The book, but the Man himself. Like the Babadook, this thing chooses a random family to haunt and places its book in their home when no one is there. It can only be summoned and "invited" into the home by opening and reading the book. The Man seems to be supernaturally bound to The book as well, as it follows the rules to a T. The Man can alter the book such as tearing out the pages or rewriting the story to fit the layout of the house, but seems to have to have it near him at all times. Torn out pages also make its way to the house, slowing down the family's chances of surviving, but not completely guaranteeing they'll be caught either. The Man does however seem to be incredibly sadistic and take pleasure in the family's fear, as it giggles and smiles all the time while hunting for his friend. Also, the wording in the book as a nursery rhyme shows he is mocking the families he terrorizes. The Man also seems to hold grudges and be extremely impulsive, as you can tell by his increased speed, kicking down the doors, and tearing out the pages in the sequel. It also seems to have superhuman speed and strength, as it can lift Mama, who is obese, without effort and disappear into the night in an instant.

I know ppl have probably pointed this out already, BUT.
1)Mama Rabbit & Jr. seem to be in POVERTY in the first game.
2)The story has multiple similarities to The Babadook. In both the film and this game a single mother & her son are warned by a story book they'll soon be visited by a malevolent supernatural entity with big beady eyes and a big toothy grin.
This suggests perhaps Mama Rabbit lost her husband recently and had to sell a lot of her stuff after he died to support her & Jr., and that's why she needs to work such long hours.
I may not be the first one to say this, but you missed an ending in tmftw 2. To get the ending set the difficulty to expert mode, then Diane and Audrey need to both survive, after this the ending is bit different with Audrey not running when there is a knock on the door, the pizza being delivered in person(with an easter egg) and junior comes home and Diane explains Audrey’s bravery.

I watched the playthrough and i am pretty sure that the second one sayed that the man from the window goes after then on a regular basis.
I like the video but I noticed in the character dialogue in the man from the window 2 mama rabbit seems to have dealt with the man several times likely meaning he has went for them several other times then in the 2 books
here's 2 things that the man from the window might be:
either a demon who was summoned via ritual to get souls for the underworld OR
he was a normal man died of loneliness and haunts the world to find a relative ie: a family member or someone who may have the same connection to said family member either way it seems the man from the window hunts down certain people
