We “rode” something like this once where you’re standing up leaning against a railing but it’s all ground vehicles. My mom’s friend was standing to the right of her. At the end we rolled up on a train’s caboose really fast and we heard a shout and looked over and she had freaked out and fallen right over on the floor. It’s probably the hardest I ever saw the two of them laugh. Me being a pre-teen of course I was mortified by their behavior. Nowadays that’s just one story of many mom (83 this year, and her friend is long since passed) still gets a chuckle about.

Too much to do in a weeks time. However I'm coming back this year for two weeks. Whoo Hoo!! Lol. Great videography!
Even if they didn't directly realize it, this was probably inspired by cinemascope of the 1960s. It was the best technology at the time using three synchronized cameras and film projectors and high-quality sound systems. A handful of movie theaters in major cities rebuild their auditoriums to facilitate the cinemascope films. You really had to remind yourself that you were sitting in a chair and the chair was not moving up and down.

Dear ole mom would even ride it (but closed her eyes when the heads were served on a platter LOL). I went to Christmas Town at BG for the 1st time. My impression was they ran out of lights. Like driving through neighborhoods and seeing some houses lit up, off the chart, and then in-between were the houses with nothing. No worries, I'm lined up for Epic in May. No comparing Universal to BG. Corkscrew Hill can be found in its entirity on here. For all of the _wee people._ that miss it.

@coloradostrong8285 DarKastle was better than the DarKoaster! I love the 3D rides. Getting rid of Corkscrew Hill was a mistake!
@@bethpmillsWoo Yeah! What is that _Darkoaster_ supposed to be anyways? It's like they borrowed some lighting effects from _Test Track_ at Disney Florida. I loved DarkKastle!
@coloradostrong8285 oh yes as a child that part where the snake came out the dudes mouth. 😂 it scared the crap out of me as a kid. I even miss the spongebob 3D ride at Kings Dominion my niece would have loved the spongebob 3D ride.
@@bethpmills Don't forget to get your rubberized churro next time 😂 The only place to find a real churro is Disney Springs, other than that, they all come from the same mold. I was at the
Universal Informer Event, where just about all of the food is included. I had a rubbery churro in each pocket. I went to every stand and they were all the same. The girl at the last stand told me "you really don't want these, they're nasty" 🤣🤣
We love riding soarin' at Disney but we are a bit put out with Disney and their raising prices for a reduced experience at this time. So Sky Fly in December it is! (I do miss my annual Disney trips though. ...) Does the screen "curve" like soarin'? Lol
We have another channel we put Disney content on, our Soarin' video has 2.7m views 🤯👉 th-cam.com/video/Zh4V0vfN5QE/w-d-xo.html
We have upcoming trip planned there later this year and might drop some vlog style content on this channel in the future, we are still contemplating that.
I don't think it warps as much as soarin' will if you don't have a good seat.
I would rank them:
1. Soarin
2. SkyFly
3. FlyRide
@@AdventureIsOutThere I will be very interested in your take on Disney when you go! Thanks for the information 😁
Wait…. There’s an orchestra playing in the sky and how do they transport people from one landscape to another without any geographic or topological connection? It looks more like a travelogue movie. A $20 movie
👍
My mom and I did this in San Francisco. I’m not sure if it’s ran by the same company or not.
There is lots of versions out there, it could be the same creators.
$23 for adults and $18 for kids…so a couple taking 2 kids is $82 LOL… Disneyland ticket pricing doesn’t seem so bad now🤷♂️
👍
Can a bigger person ride this ride with the seats being big enough and the seatbelt reach all the way?
No. Go on a diet
@Samantha Hutcherson she asked a question. I answered it
yes, my dad is 6'7" and large and he was able to ride
I’m over 300 lbs and I rode it just fine. I was a little cramped with the person next to me. But thankfully it was my friend. I wouldn’t sit that close to a stranger lol. The seatbelt fit just fine
Was on similar ride years ago in Disney World
We love Soarin' Judy! Our video of it on our other channel has over 2.7 million views!😲👉 th-cam.com/video/Zh4V0vfN5QE/w-d-xo.html
Puts you in the mind of Disney's Soran.
Yeah, "Soran". Or was it _Soaring?_
