We were there there a few weeks back. And the Nascar part really felt crazy. Diffinatly recommend to everybody

We went on this last week. It's a must do for a Pigeon Forge visit. Ride on the back row if you can. You cannot get the same experience by watching on a video, it's the entire thing...smell, sensation of flying and floating, misting of water, etc.
We agree that watching the video doesn’t do justice to how fun in the ride actually is! We hope it gives people a better idea of what it is like though.
Do they face you towards the ground at the beginning when they shoot you into the tunnel or is that just the sensation in the video? I would think that’s dangerous for it only being a seatbelt holding you in

This ride was amazing! I'm always scared of rides like these buy my parents made me ride it and it was spectacular! I'm also scared of heights but this didn't affect me at all with that. I'm not joking when I say this but the experience was the best thing I have ever done! My grandfather told me the price after the ride was over and I say it was totally worth the money. And they give you a discount if you already rode it and wanna ride it again! 10/10 I totally recommend, even for the people that have a fear of flying because I have a fear of flying but the ride was still great!
I'm afraid of heights and I absolutely was scared to death. My thirteen-year-old daughter loved it and put her arms out like Superman, but I was clinging to my seat and continually looking away. I did ride it twice but it is scary for me.

Soarin’ is a classic ride we love, but this was a unique one with different smells, mist of water when you got close to waterfalls and over all slightly longer runtime. Both are blast to ride!

Hey! So Soarin’ at Disney World is one of my favorite rides. I was not stoked to go on this ride but had promised my 10 year old sister I would take her.
We loved it, so much so that we rode it again immediately after (second ride was 9.99).
Soarin’ does do some things better: like more diverse fragrances, where the main fragrance on this one is in pine forests. It also has a crisper and larger screen.
But the take-off, runtime, and SEVERAL of the scenes on this one are overall better.
Two different experiences, and each one enjoyable-as far as our crew was concerned.
Is it just me or can I feel the feelings I had when I was on that?

My honest review on it is it “ok”. I would give it a 5.5/10. I went there after work the other day with a few of my people (we work on the Island). 1st thing, as an Island employee, every business tends to give a discount on the island for other people that work on the island. We asked as usual and was shifted over to another cashier. They told us that they wouldnt have discounts in the system for a few weeks so we would either have to pay the full price or come back. Wasnt a big deal honestly either way so we still did it. As a business owner I know thats a bunch of crap though and it doesnt take but minutes to add discounts into the system, they just wanted to max their first couple weeks profit, whatever.
2. Got there at 5, our tickets were for 5:30 so we just hung out. Employee was kinda odd and tried to sell us on their gift shop tourist trap stuff. Wasnt really about it, just wanted to do the ride.
3. Finally scanned us in to continue at 5:20. Waited in the three rooms (the buildup) for about 20 mins in total. Kinda cheesy but detail work was cool at time so it was ok. Kinda expected alittle more for how advanced technology and rides are today. Especially when the entire building was solely focused on the ride.
4. Got to the ride, it was ok. Lasted around 6-7 mins. Nothing to wild, was kinda annoyed by the continuously changing scenes every 10-15 seconds. Would be cooler if it flowed through and connected scenes instead of just a bunch of clips put together. Or maybe more of a story line or something. Idk. Trying not to ruin what happens so not going into to much detail. The CG parts were subpar for sure. Graphics on the CG parts of the ride were honestly terrible for 2021 video quality. The rest was just a bunch of clips most likely made with a nice drone.
Overall, it was $74 for three adults and I wouldnt do it again. Probably wont suggest it to other people either. Its ok at best to be fully honest with you. I think I went in with high expectations and it was alright. Kids will like it.

After riding it I would say its pretty fun and would probably give it a 6.5 out of 10. The screen size is smaller than soarin at Disney and the footage feels much grainier. Its definitely neat but for the cost it falls short for me.
This was a really fun ride
I was truly terrified and thrilled on this little ride. And I’m a veteran of the 101st Airborne.
Yes, you have to allow the mind to be tricked. And boy did I ever allow mine to dispense with reality here. Suspension of disbelief is stronger in me than in the wife, who was rather amazed at my excitement.
Maybe it’d be a nice way to work towards conquering a fear of heights for some?

As a lifelong Bioshock fan I am an absolute sucker for some proper steampunk, and this looks max-level satisfying to that need.
Does anyone know the actors who played the assistant and the scientist? They seemed pretty good I wonder if they were in other stuff
My family loved this but the price per person is absolutely ridiculous. You can see a 2 hour show for just a few more dollars. Thankfully we were blessed to ride when the attraction was free.
Glad you got to ride it free during the preview! I can see the cost being an objective to some. There is a $2 coupon in the smoky mountain navigator right now that should help.
If you asked me if I wanted to ride the Jurassic Boat Ride in PF or Earthquake in Gatlinburg or pay a bit more for this...hands down I would ride this!
Is there only one screen or are there other types of screen views?

This one is in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, sky fly: soar America.
We are Disney pass holders and we absolutely love Soarin’. SkyFly does some things better than Soarin’ (Longer run time, water mist) , yet Soarin’ does things better than this ride (larger screen/theater).
They both have their advantages and are unique smells/sights!
If I’m fine on Soarin’ but hate Flight of Passage will I be okay on this? Used to love flight of passage but it scares the crap out of me these days.
I was there a month ago and I paid for me and my two brothers and I have to say it was a 10/10 it was well worth what I spent for tickets
$23... For maybe 10min including preshow. For people who complain that Disney is too expensive; if you did nothing but ride Sorin' once per hour from 9am-9pm, it would be at $9-$16 per ride... And theoretically you could ride it about 2-3x that many on the right day ($3 per ride). That said, Sorin' Jr. here appears to deliver a similar experience, so hats off to them for that. 👍
I love soaring and I love to see another concept of it! In my opinion Disney did do it better!
We all loved it. It did take to long waiting in line listening to cheesy pictures talk. I would have pulled my hair out of I had any. Way to expensive for a 5 min ride but it was still really fun. Wish it was at least 15 mins long or something.
Though it is a longer ride then Soarin’ at Walt Disney World by 1 minute (5 vs 6 minute ride), I will say Soarin’ does have a more interactive queue with the pre flight game you can play while in line.

How is this for larger people? I notice the seatbelts… I’ve been in an embarrassing situation before by being too large… would like to avoid it again if possible.

Wonder if this is bad for people with motion sickness? Last time I did something like this I got really nauseous.
I get motion sickness on simulation rides like Star Tours at Disney World. I don't have an issue with Soarin' or this one.
I forgot to take my motion sickness meds and I was fine.
My daughter gets motion sickness and she is able to do it without much trouble.
I did it today and it made me feel pretty bad so I had to keep closing my eyes, which helped.
If SkyFly Video of USA 6:54 Mountain Ruchmore This Ride
I've been on many of these rides including both of Disney's Sorin' rides. I've seen the US, Canadian, and even flying over Iceland ride videos. In my opinion, the BEST one is located on the Seattle waterfront and called WINGS OVER WASHINGTON. It has great immersive Northwest theming, Stronger artificial wind FX, and the most beautiful flying footage of any such attraction.
Is this worth going to?

How rough is the ride? Is it pretty smooth or does it have some shaking sections?
It's very rough on some parts but I rode it a few days ago and it was the best experience I've ever had!
I'm disabled with mobility issues And I rode it twice and loved it !! To me it wasn't rough. It begins fast but then is like gentle soaring.
I didn't pay the $22.99 price. Didn't think it was worth that much for a 6 minute movie ride.
So basically Soarin' 3: The Electric Boogaloo
