Can't decide between Adventure of the sea (Labadee, Dominican, St Thomas, St. Marteen) and Wonder of the sea ship (Cococay, Cozumel, Roatan, Costa Maya), going with two teens 12 and 14 yo. Which one you liked better- ship and destinations?
I’d go with Wonder. Newer, larger ship, more to do, and y’all will LOVE Cococay! If you haven’t seen our videos on the Cozumel and Costa Maya ports, check them out for some good excursion options. 👍🏼

my wife and I are scheduled to do Adv. of the Seas Cruise this April. 1st time cruiser here...any tips or advice? is it worth it to purchase the unlimited dining package? how about shore excursions in cozumel? I'm looking at the Cozumel Private Jeep Tour...but i don't know if we will have enough time to be back to cruise port. Thanks!
Hi Edwin! I'd highly recommend you watch our Top 20 Tips for New Cruisers video. It'll help tremendously. Also, the Top 25 Cruise Essentials video would be great to check out. In Cozumel, we love Nachi Cocom. Their website is very helpful, and that's where you book if you decide to. As a newbie, I'd recommend not taking a chance with a private excursion if you're not in control of setting your own return time. So with the Jeep tour, if you can't leave when you want and catch a taxi back to the port, it might be risky. Please subscribe and have a great cruise!!!
We just went on this cruise in January. I thought the food was poor for Royal standards
It seems like there were not as many options in WJ as usual, but I attributed that to low capacity (1350 for our sailing) and only 1/2 the WJ open. We found the MDR to be great. Praying things are back to normal very soon!! Did you enjoy the cruise other than that?
Do you know if the ice skating rink was open while you were there? A friend of ours went in January sometime and found it was closed at the time.
I believe they had open skate available, but the ice-skating show was closed due to at least half of the cast being quarantined. I believe I heard the following week the show was back on. As long as a few cast members are available to help with open skate, it should be available.
Is lobster night free? Also, do they tell you what day it will be held on ? 😊
Yes, it's included and served in the Main Dining Room!! It's usually close to the end of the cruise, but you can find out for sure by asking your MDR wait staff the first night. Thanks for watching and commenting! Please subscribe ... we're shooting for 500!
