- You must have heard a lot about URI due to the attack and surgical strike and also in Kashmir files, but you would have never heard about these facts about the place. There is a historic Gurudwara of sixth guru Hargobind Sahib ji, there is a power plant and the story of Nand Singh ji. I was luck enough to travel almost to the Indo Pak border in Kashmir and here is what I saw.

This Kashmir in India seems like a calm and peaceful place. Then why would Pakistan say there s killing going on. That s why i say india pakistan should sit together resolve this kashmir dispute once and for all. This will avoid further people from dying on both sides. If any party refuses to talk like india is now, then the any one who dies is on their hands.

I have served in the Valley. These Sikhs though non-ethnic Kashmiris are respected in the Valley and have contribute much in transportation and skilled jobs. They arrived from outside Kashmir and have maintained their languages, values and culture. They are mostly from the great Bapha (merchant caste) of Sikhs. While almost all Muslims of the Valley have recently taken up Islam from Kashmiri Hindus.and are thus ethnic Kashmiris. Actually the name is Vrahamulla and not Baramulla.

What birthright? Did you own kashmir? Vasiyat mein likha hai kya? Who gave you this right. You are just a citizen and nobody is treating you as slaves. You know very well why and what is happening in kashmir. Kashmiri Muslims were not thrown out of kashmir, pandits were. India did not forcibly occupy kashmir. Pretty sure you know why kashmir is part of India. Talk to your brothers across the border and tell them, had they not attacked kashmir in 47, you would've been a free country like Nepal n Bhutan. Article 370 should have been revoked when Kashmiri pandits were driven out. Was Kashmir not theirs??? What would Indian media get by showing you in negative light? Media started Stone pelting and armed resistance against the government? Thoda apne girebaan mein bhi jhaank lo, kuch toh galti tum jaise logon ki bhi hai. Bro...lucky you..because of extreme army presence you could name only 3 unfortunate incidents. Bro..across India there are more than 3 rapes happening on a daily basis. Its extremely sad and I would support Islamic law on this. Just think what necessitates such high army presence, Pakistan and their narrative around religion backed by a very worrying incident with pandits. Put yourself in an Indian leaders shoes, would you just give away paradise, not forgetting the geopolitical importance. If kashmiris had strongly rejected pak influence, I am pretty sure things would have been better. Why don't kashmiris give proper chance to democracy? Only you guys can stop people who use violence during elections. Select your own leaders. Dont think India has any draconian laws that you need to be worried about. My only advice to kashmiris and the people you support is to shun violence and go by democratic system. We just want to visit and enjoy kashmir's beauty and don't want to occupy it. Removing the articles was probably the first step. Just really, really, really hope it doesn't end up like what Sri Lankans did with LTTE or Myanmar with Rohingyas.
