@@aninditapaul9291 Unfortunately early on in this game you can only punch some very small trees. This surprised me with my tree-punching-skill. It was like in the very first game of its kind (minecraft?), i felt lost until i found some punch-and-harvestable trees.

This game ruins my sleep cycle, my character is now healthier than me, he eats 3 types of food and sleeps at night more or less in time because the night is dark and there are more monsters and seem more aggresive at night.
They spawn a lot more but they don't get too bad after you learn how the combat mechanics work. Getting invaded by two trolls at night only gets annoying once you're wearing iron armor. Its the plains where shit gets dangerous if you get surrounded.

Valheim is a steal at $20. Do yourself a favor and buy it for a friend and yourself, figure out the game together and take your time. I’ve already put over 20 hours in and can’t get enough!

5 of my friends and I have been tearing into this game and are loving it. Today we had a misadventure with our longship when we landed on a different continent we were bum-rushed by mobs and 2 of our group died and the boat destroyed so we were separated with no way to reach each other. So the other 3 that survived and I had to build an expeditionary base and also build a portal gate while the other 2 who died had to work to build the other portal gate at home base in tandem so we could regroup. It was a blast.
I friggin hate games with melvin ass UI. just make it look simple. I dont want to see 60 different symbols on top of my screen showing me every element of the periodic table I have on me as well as the 9 different currencies I can use to buy armor that makes me look like Ive beaten the game under the 10th minute playing.
It's kind of fun that pretty much all indie swedish titles that are succesfull are coming from a small swedish town called Skövde. Really says something about the university there.
When we (my mom and I) got bored of Grounded I looked around and saw this. I love building in all the top survival games but this one is the best. It doesn't limit you by making a wall you just made stop you from adding trim to anywhere you want. Everything has a ton of snap points and if it's just not quite right you can hold down shift and toggle snap points off and place it wherever. There are no windows but you can build a wall with full pieces and where you want the window you just use a half-wall at the bottom and top and you've got a window. Then put trim around it and it's complete. You can even make circled walls and ceilings by just slightly rotating each piece. And I've never seen a survival game make you figure out how to direct smoke from fires so you don't die inside a building from smoke. My mom (gamer at 74) absolutely loves the weather system. The rain and wind effects are perfect. We recently were in a storm on the open water and it was exciting cause we were both expecting to get thrown off the raft into the ocean or get eaten by a sea serpent. Simply amazing. Everybody needs to play it and it's got so much more potential.
@@devnull5098 It just depends on how you build it. The farther away from the ground the more unstable it becomes. But if you use tall pillars it's more stable. I've made a tall what I call a Guildhouse with a single huge room that could easily be two stories if I wanted it that way.
Agreed, my fingers are all blistered. lol TBH no one is talking about the tiny size of this game, its like 1 gig WTF. Thats streamlined AF, the biggest survival map on the tiniest file size.

@@dawizard238 1.0 59.99 AAA titles ship with less polish and content than Valheim. If you wanted a 3D Terraria mixed with The Forest mechanics your gonna have a good time. Combat is like a mix of BOW and Dark Souls. Have fun, hope you enjoy the game as much as I do.
@@d4vid469 Yeah it landed on my week off so I've been glued to it. Almost 80 hours in and just beat the 3rd boss. Dedictaed servers are dope and everyone does there own thing. It feels like a little mmo.

I’m really glad this game is getting so much attention. It’s great to see a small team make a successful game, especially when they make a game that fits to the bill exactly as players wanted it to. This game feels like they knew exactly what they wanted to make and absolutely brought it to life.

This was the first thing I noticed. It made me expect much less of this game at first and the very beginning of the game is so open. The small file size is a huge bonus
their graphics are very compressed and pixelated, aaa games dont have very low resolution graphics but this game does a good job deceiving you into thinking their graphics are very good if you zoom out..
i gotta say having played 40 hours so far, the two take away things i can say is play with 2-3 players as much as you can, it helps with some of the grind around resource gathering and it feels awesome to take on bosses. the other take away i can say is go in as blind as possible, basic knowledge on how to get started maybe but having those moments with friends trying out a new area or taking on a boss you haven't fought before is completely the way to go with this game. you get so many more unique stories to tell around the campfire (mead in hand) later, Skål!! my fellow Vikings and don't miss this one.
I agree, but I think learning the early game solo can help a lot. I was way more prepared than my compatriots. I really love how the game teaches you so so well through experience. The tutorial isn't too hand holding, and eventually it just cuts you loose. (After boss 2) I had so much fun discovering new places and strategies (Carts and paths to optimize mining, etc). The most fun I've had in survival since I was first learning how to play minecraft.
@@jimm.127 solo can be fun for sure, but i found that as you hit metals and some of the more obscure resources having friends there to help cuts down on some of the grind around getting metals and hauling it home, eventually carts and ships make this easier for sure but being able to split up tasks around prepping for the next boss and the feeling of hitting the boss together is pretty awesome

something you missed out, this game is totally viable solo, the game difficulty scales to the amount of players in the session. did a total solo playthrough up to the (Current) last boss. took about 91 hours
Feel the complete same with this game, already hit 2 million sales hope this is enough motivation to keep the game exciting and that magical feeling with it. Can’t wait for the future tho game is still a baby.

Yep. Ubisoft springs to mind. I was a massive fan of Assassins' Creed but was totally underwhelmed by AC Valhalla. It was basically just a copy and paste job from the previous two games with a different setting. I can't believe I splashed out 90 notes on pre ordering the ultimate edition.
Once again. Proving that we dont need realistic graphics or high res high quality games. It just has to be fun to play. It has been proven on phasmophobia, among us, and now this. I really liked this game. So many surprising moments.

It doesn’t have realistic graphics but the art direction is very good, and that IS a big part of what many people look for in a game. It’s a stylistic choice and they pulled it off really well imo.

I love survival games especially the ones that include splitscreen coop so I can play with my lil bro. We have spent hundreds if not THOUSANDS of hours on Minecraft and Ark.

Tip: armour and defensive stats that you get, even the small addition of like 4-6 armour is absolutely huge in this game and can change what areas you can approach with relative confidence
I did the same thing last Sunday. I was talking to a friend like, "couldn't help myself, bought valheim, figure I'll try it for a few hours, and then work on finishing AC Valhalla." NAH played all of Sunday and Valheim is all I've played this week.

You can change the graphics in minecraft, build a viking longship and home, get a viking skin download a viking based mod, just sayin, this game doesn't top nothin and it's only available on pc, plus it kinda just looks like every other survival game before it.

I played this for 14 hours before i fought the first boss, just because i liked the building so mutch, just choppin down trees is great, mining, flattening out a space to build a Village, mining, a stealth system, the fact that boats Sails need to be readjusted to the wind, god this game is nutty
@@SpunkyGo0se Building wise there about the same. Ark is Dino taming PvP based/World bosss. Conan is PvP Human taming/you spawn the world boss for PvP. Rust is mostly PvP with guns and sometimes real people taming. This is a very shallow overview of all 3.

Yes. I really prefer PvE / coop-games. I'm just not a big fan of PvP. And Valheims PvE-element is way better than Minecraft. And I can see the building / gathering / crafting elements getting there in time.
@@lorati_8415 Personally, I prefer games that focus more on gameplay and engagement over graphics. And a plus is that you can run these games even on potato PCs. One of the main reasons why I don't get to enjoy "AAA" games with god tier graphics is that they just don't run well on my 5 year old mid range PC. When I first heard of this game, I just wanted to try it out since there really wasn't anything good to play this month... and boy was I surprised! I've already spent 20 hours on this game and I still barely scratch the surface.
I love realistic looking games but game graphics are an art style. A reason Minecraft is still a great game. Even Stardew valley I enjoy is a bit game.
Honestly the stylized graphics in this game are very satisfying to me. They're a bit low res but it just adds to the game. I wouldn't complain if they updated the graphics, but right now they are beautiful, like Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask beautiful.
I’m not huge on these types of games, but I CANNOT stop playing this lol. A big part of it for me is the art style. Low Poly renders just look great to me and the lighting is sooooooo good in this game. It feels like a complete game to me.
Tweaking gameplay elements is very complex process, I think back to what ARK was like on launch and the crazy beautiful cluster it is now; even without mods. And glad they went through that path.
its way too hard for indie or small developers to just release something like that with no input from players and also testing how it runs along the way
I saw this on Twitch and knew it was something I'd really enjoy. I immediately got it and started playing and have been having a blast even solo. I love how heavy the world feels, like when you chop a tree and it crashes down, or when a troll hits the ground and makes rocks fly up, how slow you are in water, your attacks, everything has this weight to it that makes it feel more real. The older style combined with the way you level skills reminds me of Runescape and sorta gives me the same feeling I had when I played back in the day. Also the weather is so dope in this game, the waves look good and the sunsets/rises are amazing! Overall I'd say it's a gem of a game. I already feel like I've gotten my $20 worth and there's still a lot more to do and more on the way!
I bought this game Yesterday and I've been having a blast playing it ever since. I'm currently just playing Singleplayer, just beat the second boss, and it's awesome. I really like how each boss acts as a way to progress to different "ages" because they each either give you the ability to make better stuff or have you go to areas that cause you to get resources that would unlock better stuff (i.e. beating the first boss gives you the antler pickaxe). For me, this makes progression feel so much smoother.
Would be cool to have randomized loot like diablo2 Like a rare club could roll lightning damage, and certain monsters have more/less resistance to certain elements

I feel like this games gameplay + RuneScape's world and framework like how the skills are setup, their quests, and the Grand Exchange concept would make for a dope game.
lol, I've spent way more time playing RS than I care to admit... But this is one of the tiny few games that gave me that euphoric feeling when you first start playing a new game and discover something that blows your mind and excites you. Like when I discovered how they did smoke in Valheim, when I first noticed I was losing health and saw it was because of the smoke building up in the first house I built because I put the fireplace on the floor before I built the roof. Thinking it's like all other games, and not thinking that there was going to be physics for smoke in it, especially considering it was just released a couple of days prior to when I first played it, and it's an EA game. One of the other few games that I had those fun discovery moments, or just random fun stuff people do when they're just starting high school, is RuneScape. I started playing it back when it first came out, and there were only a few towns, skills, they didn't have separate PvP or PvE worlds like how it had later on, and it was still 2D with pixelated cartoonish graphics. I even got to see and talk to Andrew once when I saw him on, and was excited to meet one of the brothers who made it. Just got short responses, maybe three times at most each time, but still... I was really happy about that lol. Think Valheim kind of took me back to how RS used to make me feel when I was little. Anyways, just saw your comment, and decided to reply, seeing that you might be a fellow RS player from around the same time I started playing (2004ish, but don't remember exactly when I started for sure anymore. Graduated high school in 06, so I know it was before then, but not sure the exact time I first played), and just thought I'd say something, lol. If not, just ignore this XD

The download was less that 2GB. Two. When I bought Valheim on Feb 2nd, that was the first thing I saw and almost regretted paying 20 bucks for it. Then I played it. I'm blown away on so many levels. The game impresses the Hell out of me, and I recommend it to anyone I know. Thanks for finally covering Valheim, Gameranx.
The art style making your character more pixelated than the environment is a beautiful statement about letting go of vanity and ego and immersing yourself in the transcendental beauty of the world. Ever since I started playing this game, I've lost the urge to sleep. I started a chain reaction: I got my friend, his girlfriend, and my brother into this game and they spread the love to further family members and friends and we all play together now. Thank you to the Valheim devs who brought all of us closer by the medium of this extraordinary game!

@@fotuto13 Desync is only bad if you have extremely below average internet. Talking 300-700 kbps here so unless that's you be quiet and if it is you stop blaming the game we both know what's the problem.
The most important basic tip: Get your rested buff. The increased health and stamina regeneration you get from it makes your life way easier. The second most important basic tip: Find a place that spawns Necks and build a base/portal near that, as their tail meat will remain useful throughout the game and is only available in the meadows.
You know why this game blew up? Because it makes you occupied in beautifully made world. BUT not in the way you feel annoyed. I am not even mad when I die. I just get more motivated.

I learned that during stormy weather, birds will lay low on the grass and let you get closer bc they don't want to fly in the storm. Hunting birds in stormy weather is a great way to get more feathers and thus more arrows. Solid game with a convincing and stunning world to immerse yourself.
Amazing game! Downloaded it and was surprised that it was just a little more than 500mb in size. Thought I’d try it for a few minutes to see what the hype is about and 6hrs later still playing and expanding my house. 😁 definitely a must play.

The models and texture are bare minimum in this game and that is what makes it less than a gig , rest everything else is perfectly next gen , the developers did a fantastic job on post processing , lighting , level design etc Which makes the game looks absolutely gorgeous . ive had it a week now and ive clocked 40 hours,, its soo addictive and it makes you want to progress. fire arrows for a troll and stay well away also you will learn the bow and youll enjoy using it. it gets better.

Just get it on steam, play for up to 2 hours and refund it if you don't like it. Trust me. You won't regret it. I was never attracted to any survival game since Minecraft until this. The only similarity between this and Minecraft is the nostalgic feeling of discovering an amazing game in the early stages, like when I was a kid playing Minecraft 1.8 beta having a blast. You'll have even more fun with a few friends, but I played about 4 hours before going to the valheim discord and looking for a group. We now have a group of 7 of us on a dedicated server, and we keep having amazing adventures and funny moments every day. I'm sure I'll be feeling nostalgic looking back at this game and the memories made 10 years from now.
I prefer the depth of field, idk why but it goes really well with the graphics, just take your cursur to where u wanna see and the draw distance will be huge
I have a rule, be “overprepared” for every fight. What may seem too much might end up being too little. But for trolls, all you need is a bow and arrow.
This was probably the first game I've played where my favorite streamers/TH-camrs convinced me to buy AND I actually enjoyed it. Influencers have a lot of power when it comes to convincing their audience to "try out" a game just by watching them play but this was probably the first time where I can whole heartedly say that I don't regret buying this game
My friend's been talking about this for weeks telling me that I should get it so I finally got it last night and we played and I'm happy I actually did get this game. The music it's fantastic it's calming and it just has a nice feel to it. The combat a little stiff but definitely something I can deal with. The graphics at first I was like this doesn't look so great until I started playing the game so yes your character doesn't look great but everything else in the world looks fantastic with the type of art style they went with. And the building in this game it's basic but good there's been too many survival games where they tried to cram so much complex building stuff in a game we're at that point it's like I might as well just live in a cave and not deal with all of this. In this game I already have a decent-sized house with a wall around it and that's only playing 3 hours. Yes the game is definitely good if you have friends because last time like I said I was playing with my friend and we were enjoying it though he ran off at the complete opposite direction thinking that he needs to go out in the world to find a pickaxe when I was correct on how we get a pickaxe I'm not going to spoil how you get one. I did not play Conan Exiles Terraria and Ark not to know how to get certain blueprints in games.

You’re absolutely on point with the graphics..at first I was a little sceptical from the videos I’ve seen. But TH-cam und twitch just can’t to this game justice. It looks and feels so much better when you actually play it yourself
It's interesting. I've been playing with 3 other friends for a few days now and I can't explain why I'm so hooked. It doesn't really do anything new or special. It just does what it does really well and in such a way that I can't stop thinking about it.
I got the game yesterday and played it all night. I’m 24 now and it reminded me of when I played RuneScape for the first time at 10 and Minecraft at 13. The nostalgia is real when a game is great. Worth the buy!

Tip: stack up on raw meat(from deer and boars), neck tails and mushrooms. That combo of foods will carry you for a looong while, basically from the beginning to the point you unlock farms(which is after you make your first Bronze, after boss #1).

You can eat 3 different types of food at once which increases your health & if you are going into an area like Black Forest you will need all the health you can get. Some enemies are weaker to specific weapons, skeletons are like tradition weaker against clubs & maces, greys don't like fire, don't try to melee trolls, etc.

Stick to the Meadows at night until you level up decently. Stake walls are a life saver for when hordes come!

So the other 3 that survived and I had to build an expeditionary base and also build a portal gate while the other 2 who died had to work to build the other portal gate at home base in tandem so we could regroup. When we (my mom and I) got bored of Grounded I looked around and saw this. I love building in all the top survival games but this one is the best. It doesn't limit you by making a wall you just made stop you from adding trim to anywhere you want. Everything has a ton of snap points and if it's just not quite right you can hold down shift and toggle snap points off and place it wherever. There are no windows but you can build a wall with full pieces and where you want the window you just use a half-wall at the bottom and top and you've got a window. Then put trim around it and it's complete. You can even make circled walls and ceilings by just slightly rotating each piece. And I've never seen a survival game make you figure out how to direct smoke from fires so you don't die inside a building from smoke. My mom (gamer at 74) absolutely loves the weather system. The rain and wind effects are perfect. We recently were in a storm on the open water and it was exciting cause we were both expecting to get thrown off the raft into the ocean or get eaten by a sea serpent. Simply amazing. Everybody needs to play it and it's got so much more potential.

@@devnull5098 It just depends on how you build it. The farther away from the ground the more unstable it becomes. But if you use tall pillars it's more stable. I've made a tall what I call a Guildhouse with a single huge room that could easily be two stories if I wanted it that way.

i gotta say having played 40 hours so far, the two take away things i can say is play with 2-3 players as much as you can, it helps with some of the grind around resource gathering and it feels awesome to take on bosses. the other take away i can say is go in as blind as possible, basic knowledge on how to get started maybe but having those moments with friends trying out a new area or taking on a boss you haven't fought before is completely the way to go with this game. you get so many more unique stories to tell around the campfire (mead in hand) later, Skål!! my fellow Vikings and don't miss this one.
I agree, but I think learning the early game solo can help a lot. I was way more prepared than my compatriots. I really love how the game teaches you so so well through experience. The tutorial isn't too hand holding, and eventually it just cuts you loose. (After boss 2) I had so much fun discovering new places and strategies (Carts and paths to optimize mining, etc). The most fun I've had in survival since I was first learning how to play minecraft.

@@jimm.127 solo can be fun for sure, but i found that as you hit metals and some of the more obscure resources having friends there to help cuts down on some of the grind around getting metals and hauling it home, eventually carts and ships make this easier for sure but being able to split up tasks around prepping for the next boss and the feeling of hitting the boss together is pretty awesome

Yep. Ubisoft springs to mind. I was a massive fan of Assassins' Creed but was totally underwhelmed by AC Valhalla. It was basically just a copy and paste job from the previous two games with a different setting. I can't believe I splashed out 90 notes on pre ordering the ultimate edition.
Once again. Proving that we dont need realistic graphics or high res high quality games. It just has to be fun to play. It has been proven on phasmophobia, among us, and now this.

It doesn’t have realistic graphics but the art direction is very good, and that IS a big part of what many people look for in a game. It’s a stylistic choice and they pulled it off really well imo.

Started it with no expectations. 10 hours later I stopped playing and was blown away how good it is.

@@SpunkyGo0se Building wise there about the same. Ark is Dino taming PvP based/World bosss. Conan is PvP Human taming/you spawn the world boss for PvP. Rust is mostly PvP with guns and sometimes real people taming. This is a very shallow overview of all 3.

One of the main reasons why I don't get to enjoy "AAA" games with god tier graphics is that they just don't run well on my 5 year old mid range PC. When I first heard of this game, I just wanted to try it out since there really wasn't anything good to play this month... and boy was I surprised! I've already spent 20 hours on this game and I still barely scratch the surface.

Honestly the stylized graphics in this game are very satisfying to me. They're a bit low res but it just adds to the game. I wouldn't complain if they updated the graphics, but right now they are beautiful, like Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask beautiful.

I’m not huge on these types of games, but I CANNOT stop playing this lol. A big part of it for me is the art style. Low Poly renders just look great to me and the lighting is sooooooo good in this game. It feels like a complete game to me.

Tweaking gameplay elements is very complex process, I think back to what ARK was like on launch and the crazy beautiful cluster it is now; even without mods. And glad they went through that path.

I saw this on Twitch and knew it was something I'd really enjoy. I immediately got it and started playing and have been having a blast even solo. I love how heavy the world feels, like when you chop a tree and it crashes down, or when a troll hits the ground and makes rocks fly up, how slow you are in water, your attacks, everything has this weight to it that makes it feel more real. The older style combined with the way you level skills reminds me of Runescape and sorta gives me the same feeling I had when I played back in the day. Also the weather is so dope in this game, the waves look good and the sunsets/rises are amazing!
Overall I'd say it's a gem of a game. I already feel like I've gotten my $20 worth and there's still a lot more to do and more on the way!

I bought this game Yesterday and I've been having a blast playing it ever since. I'm currently just playing Singleplayer, just beat the second boss, and it's awesome. I really like how each boss acts as a way to progress to different "ages" because they each either give you the ability to make better stuff or have you go to areas that cause you to get resources that would unlock better stuff (i.e. beating the first boss gives you the antler pickaxe). For me, this makes progression feel so much smoother.

lol, I've spent way more time playing RS than I care to admit... But this is one of the tiny few games that gave me that euphoric feeling when you first start playing a new game and discover something that blows your mind and excites you. Like when I discovered how they did smoke in Valheim, when I first noticed I was losing health and saw it was because of the smoke building up in the first house I built because I put the fireplace on the floor before I built the roof. Thinking it's like all other games, and not thinking that there was going to be physics for smoke in it, especially considering it was just released a couple of days prior to when I first played it, and it's an EA game.
One of the other few games that I had those fun discovery moments, or just random fun stuff people do when they're just starting high school, is RuneScape. I started playing it back when it first came out, and there were only a few towns, skills, they didn't have separate PvP or PvE worlds like how it had later on, and it was still 2D with pixelated cartoonish graphics. I even got to see and talk to Andrew once when I saw him on, and was excited to meet one of the brothers who made it. Just got short responses, maybe three times at most each time, but still... I was really happy about that lol.
Think Valheim kind of took me back to how RS used to make me feel when I was little. Anyways, just saw your comment, and decided to reply, seeing that you might be a fellow RS player from around the same time I started playing (2004ish, but don't remember exactly when I started for sure anymore. Graduated high school in 06, so I know it was before then, but not sure the exact time I first played), and just thought I'd say something, lol. If not, just ignore this XD

The most important basic tip:
Get your rested buff. The increased health and stamina regeneration you get from it makes your life way easier.
The second most important basic tip:
Find a place that spawns Necks and build a base/portal near that, as their tail meat will remain useful throughout the game and is only available in the meadows.
The rested buff has a secret effect which ups your xp gain by 50%
You know why this game blew up? Because it makes you occupied in beautifully made world. BUT not in the way you feel annoyed. I am not even mad when I die. I just get more motivated.

I didn't watch any gameplay, but the poor graphics kinda hold me off... Is it really that good?
Is it any good in single player? If I get it I plan to play solo as it can be hard to organise events with work and all that jazz.
@@FROSTB4NE You can play it solo and it is still will be pretty fun, it will just take a bit more time to take down some bosses.

I learned that during stormy weather, birds will lay low on the grass and let you get closer bc they don't want to fly in the storm. Hunting birds in stormy weather is a great way to get more feathers and thus more arrows. Solid game with a convincing and stunning world to immerse yourself.
Amazing game! Downloaded it and was surprised that it was just a little more than 500mb in size. Thought I’d try it for a few minutes to see what the hype is about and 6hrs later still playing and expanding my house. 😁 definitely a must play.
This is such a great game, i was amazed at how much content there was for an early access game. Not to mention how few bugs there are.
nothing beats getting chased by a tree you cut and have it destroy your house . 10/10

The models and texture are bare minimum in this game and that is what makes it less than a gig , rest everything else is perfectly next gen , the developers did a fantastic job on post processing , lighting , level design etc Which makes the game looks absolutely gorgeous . You won't be saying such bs if you actually played the game yourself just for 10 mins .
It's the only game which I came after an ad. Believe me I had ads of Halo , GTA , other big studios but this game shows the things are there and you are more free than real world . It's insane. Damnnn......
ive had it a week now and ive clocked 40 hours,, its soo addictive and it makes you want to progress. fire arrows for a troll and stay well away also you will learn the bow and youll enjoy using it. it gets better.

@@aninditapaul9291 hell no this is completely different from Minecraft and not even comparable. They are entirely different games. Just get it on steam, play for up to 2 hours and refund it if you don't like it. Trust me. You won't regret it. I was never attracted to any survival game since Minecraft until this. The only similarity between this and Minecraft is the nostalgic feeling of discovering an amazing game in the early stages, like when I was a kid playing Minecraft 1.8 beta having a blast. You'll have even more fun with a few friends, but I played about 4 hours before going to the valheim discord and looking for a group. We now have a group of 7 of us on a dedicated server, and we keep having amazing adventures and funny moments every day. I'm sure I'll be feeling nostalgic looking back at this game and the memories made 10 years from now.

turn off depth of field so you can actually see whats in that amazing draw distance
I prefer the depth of field, idk why but it goes really well with the graphics, just take your cursur to where u wanna see and the draw distance will be huge

This was probably the first game I've played where my favorite streamers/TH-camrs convinced me to buy AND I actually enjoyed it. Influencers have a lot of power when it comes to convincing their audience to "try out" a game just by watching them play but this was probably the first time where I can whole heartedly say that I don't regret buying this game

My friend's been talking about this for weeks telling me that I should get it so I finally got it last night and we played and I'm happy I actually did get this game.
The music it's fantastic it's calming and it just has a nice feel to it. The combat a little stiff but definitely something I can deal with. The graphics at first I was like this doesn't look so great until I started playing the game so yes your character doesn't look great but everything else in the world looks fantastic with the type of art style they went with.
And the building in this game it's basic but good there's been too many survival games where they tried to cram so much complex building stuff in a game we're at that point it's like I might as well just live in a cave and not deal with all of this. In this game I already have a decent-sized house with a wall around it and that's only playing 3 hours.
Yes the game is definitely good if you have friends because last time like I said I was playing with my friend and we were enjoying it though he ran off at the complete opposite direction thinking that he needs to go out in the world to find a pickaxe when I was correct on how we get a pickaxe I'm not going to spoil how you get one.
I did not play Conan Exiles Terraria and Ark not to know how to get certain blueprints in games.

You’re absolutely on point with the graphics..at first I was a little sceptical from the videos I’ve seen. But TH-cam und twitch just can’t to this game justice. It looks and feels so much better when you actually play it yourself
It's interesting. I've been playing with 3 other friends for a few days now and I can't explain why I'm so hooked. It doesn't really do anything new or special. It just does what it does really well and in such a way that I can't stop thinking about it.
I just picked this up today, I'm looking forward to diving into it!
I got the game yesterday and played it all night. I’m 24 now and it reminded me of when I played RuneScape for the first time at 10 and Minecraft at 13. The nostalgia is real when a game is great. Worth the buy!

I have been playing solo for over 24 hours and for me it has been a blast so far
Tip: stack up on raw meat(from deer and boars), neck tails and mushrooms. That combo of foods will carry you for a looong while, basically from the beginning to the point you unlock farms(which is after you make your first Bronze, after boss #1).

You can eat 3 different types of food at once which increases your health & if you are going into an area like Black Forest you will need all the health you can get. Some enemies are weaker to specific weapons, skeletons are like tradition weaker against clubs & maces, greys don't like fire, don't try to melee trolls, etc.
The one thing I wish they add is magic. Especially when playing with friends, I want other build paths to play other then just melee
completely agree. if they wanted to do smthg more viking themed they could go with a shaman of sorts.
