    Thanks for sharing your process and congratulations on your success! I am curious with what you do with the excess sticker paper that is left over from the cuts? with your business growing more I bet there's also more paper waste, any tips or tricks? maybe for another video :)

      Personally, I try to stick a few random shapes in those spots so my cricut will cut out little stars and hearts for me to use as little stickers on my packaging. :)

      Currently I've just been putting them into a box to figure out what to do with them. But before printing, I do always try to maximize the space with as many stickers as possible. 😊

    I enjoy your videos a lot! I am just starting on stickers among other things and learning cricut design space is my bane. I'm a professionally trained designer and that freaking program has a terrible UIX. -_- The fact that you have to use a hack to get it to draw not-bubble letters? And that it doesn't have a "print without cut" function so you can print letters on a page, then cut out a shape around them without it wanting to default to cutting the letters out too? You have to like... flatten or attach and it's confusing language that doesn't connect from other design software.
    It's so not user friendly.
    But I'm sure you know all that! Anyway, thanks so much!

    • @fructusillustrations
      @fructusillustrations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Omg yes! I totally understand the frustration with the cricut design space. I studied and worked in systems engineering before changing careers and paths so I see all the flaws it has but my patience has for sure been tested hehe I'm glad to hear though that you enjoy my videos! thanks for watching 🐻♥

      @@fructusillustrations Oh yeah, it feels like every project I learn a new reason I dislike Design Space lol But I hear the Silhouette program is about as bad and you can't use layers unless you get the business version. Yuck.

    Hi Jen! Love the video as always ❤ I wanted to ask you a question about the printer you have. I’ve recently purchased this same one and I was wondering if you have trouble with printing the color red? I’m not sure why my red keeps printing out dull/brown. I’ve tried many diff color options and even changing the original color in the drawing:(. Nothing seems to work. (I’m using card stock paper if that changes anything) Sorry for the bother❤ keep it up!!!🎉

    • @fructusillustrations
      @fructusillustrations  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sometimes certain reds do print out weird but what I try to do is adjust the colors on the printer system dialogue before sending it to print. So go to print as normal but when the window pops up with your options go to Printer Options > Color Options > Manual Settings > Advanced Settings. Here you should see sliders for the colors. You can play around with those and hopefully that helps with your issues!

    Do you still use the Online labels paper for your stickers or do you find Htvront vinyl paper to be better?

    • @fructusillustrations
      @fructusillustrations  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think they're both very similar in quality. I plan to use both. I like online labels for individual die cut stickers and the HTV paper for sticker sheets!

  • @blairedlines

    I could easily see your Oopsy Sticker Mystery Pack being Black Friday hit.
    Stupid question but for your prints do you just print and cut them the same way you do stickers? (Method not settings) What paper do you use or have found best to use for prints?

    • @fructusillustrations
      @fructusillustrations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah hehe that's probably when I'm going to make to sell them and with a discount! And to answer your question, right now I just fit a couple of prints on a word document and just print them from there. I then use a paper cutter to cut them down to shape :)

      That’s a rubber cement pickup, it removes the excess adhesive off the backs.
