Todays explore we investigate the dead poets abandoned house and find out if His wife still haunts their abandoned family home, as this was a find we weren't expecting we didn't have much history as we explored this abandoned place but afterwards we were able to find out the fascinating history behind this property. we find that both the Poet and his late wife died inside their house. if you enjoy watching exploring abandoned places uk and the world then stick around as I upload weekly vlogs.

You're so lucky to have all those historical abandoned buildings in Europe, we don't have many in Australia. Could you please show the view from different windows a bit more?🙏 Don't know why, but I always wonder what the view is like from each room, and imagine in the old days they would have sat by the windows looking out more, with a book or pipe maybe, since they didn't have screens 😍
We don't have any where I live because they are usually repurposed because we have a very good historical society and they try to save historical places. Houses and that kind of stuff are usually condemned and torn down if they need too much work
I would love to be confident enough to investigate, but truthfully it all freaks me out!
A lot of these abandoned buildings are absolutely gorgeous, If you can ignore the mess of the places and imagine the potential if they could be renovated to home new families for today, Imagine the potential of what these homes could still be.
Such a shame to see these go to waste.
My heart rate started rising when the music box started. My home was built in 1848 in Cornwall and there is definitely a presence here, but it’s not malice…..In fact I often talk to whoever is here…..I feel strongly it’s a female, probably the house keeper, or the matriarch of the family…… Quite often I can put something down, scissors or a hair brush, and it disappears…..I’ve learnt to ask for it to be put back, kindly of course…..Adam thank you for your videos….there are so many sceptics out there, it’s frustrating…..Happy New Year to you and your team ❤️

In my grandparents old home they had the coolest claw foot bathtub! But when they expired I was a young teen, and my mum and dad did not have a place to keep it for me!

That music box freaks me out every time. It's so creepy. What a surprise find this house is. Glad there were no abandoned photos. Someone cared to take them. Once again, I'm watching in bed, and after that music box, sleep is going to be interesting!

The recent posted explore made me tremble. As you came down from the second floor you glanced to your right not realizing there was an apparition of a small girl watching you from the hallway. I do have the screenshot clearly showing her if you'd like to see it. Matt seemed tuned into the child as she was following him around. Great Explore
Do you remember how far into the video you saw the apparition?
It’s strange how a place will start to decay almost it seems instantly when left empty, as if the place dies too.
The vape and the ASDA bag and that Morrisons Savers rice pudding are definitely from the last few years ago looks like someone has definitely been there.

When I regularly stayed in a large haunted house. Years ago. What you experienced in that house was so similar to what we experienced.
Loud noise, footsteps and voices. And if you stay there long enough I'd expect to find objects moved on their own.
there must be family somewhere that do not realize this home needs them.
I know that you said an old famous poet died here in his 90's about 20 years ago. I'm wondering if he had a great-granddaughter living with him in the end. I think that a woman named Lizzie (Elizabeth) died in that house. I think you are right about the squatters, one of which was a menstruating woman, who vaped were the most recent people there. Very interesting.
Have you ever been investigating where a squatter has surprised you? That would be scary creepy!

All your episodes are great, your team is too and i love your approach and humour. Ive lived in a haunted house for many years and you do need to know that the spirits that react to you are evil, they impersonate and mimic the dead but they are not anyone that lived there. They are demons, out to play, decieve and if possible harm you. Please be very careful and if you are told to go just leave quickly. I assure you they are real and i'm not a nutter.
That was an amazing video Adam and Matt. The family obviously took all the personal things away, only leaving furniture they did not want. This house definately had vibes even at the begining of you filming. I did notice the brown wooden cot upstairs was very old, it has also been turned so the drop down side was against the wall maybe as these were found to be dangerous in the last 20yrs or so. The white cot was drop side away from the wall, maybe when family visited they used this one. I don't think there was any accident involving a child in that house. I have an idea I knew of this couple in my youth growing up in London and visiting relatives who lived near to this couple. Sad to see this house fall to ruin, as you say it is listed. Just my personal opinion, but if there are squatters regularly living there, once the ceilings started collapsing the squatters stayed downstairs to avoid getting hurt. That's why you found the quilt in the livingroom. And the spirits that are left in the house stayed upstairs to avoid them.
