Effective placement of Flowtron bug zapper

I live quite near to a large swath of swamp. Mosquitoes are inevitable. With all the wild animals in the bush and swamp plus all the cats and dogs left out all night, the bugs have plenty to eat. I also have chickens and rabbits that are fair game for the bugs. I do like to be out in the yard during the day but bug spray is expensive and toxic. I find only Muskol works well. The bug zapper will eliminate most of the biting bugs fairly quickly by putting it in an environment where the bugs feed easily. I placed it outside the window of my livestock building with a fan blowing the air from the inside to the outside at the bug zapper. The warmth of the building plus the carbon dioxide of the animals attracts the mosquitoes. The placement of the bug zapper optimizes its effectiveness. I had to clean the zapper twice in a two hour period. I think I got it right. This will also help your dogs and catsd that spend the nights outside.
