As someone in the high plat range, yes. We still have no idea where traps are. Even if you throw it in our face, it just disappears when it hits the ground.
Also fish migration is very valuable knowledge to have. I live in a place where fishing is a pretty big part of life, and the best fish come during specific parts of the year. Many fishermen carefully track where flounder are for the big bucks, or just for high quality fish to eat. During other parts of the year, fish are just wild caught and eaten most of the time. Salmon is also relatively inexpensive because of the amount of fishermen here.
