Hi! I built a raised bed from cinder blocks. On a whim, spring of 2022 I bought one tiny Japanese Eggplant in a 4" pot & planted it in it. I was amazed at the prolific production of this one plant. I truly enjoyed researching new eggplant recipes & trying them. Aside from stir frys, Babaganoush became a favorite. I bought two Japanese eggplants this year & they have done well. I also grow okra. Note, if the veg gets more than 2.5" it is woody inside & difficult to chew. Save the large okra for its seeds. It's another veg I've had great success with. However, I can't grow ANY basil anywhere! :'( Even indoors on my kitchen windosill! Thanks for sharing your gardening talent & knowledge. I enjoy & appreciate your videos. I've learned a lot from you. Regards, from Central Florida!
Enough to freeze up this year which is wonderful! We always buy organic and it costs a fortune - hopefully we'll need to buy less and less each year as production in the garden ramps up 💚
Can you wash those white fly eggs off the put edible leaves in a salad still? .. or not a good idea. So you “solarise” them in a plastic bag (leaf complete with white flyer eggs still on the leaf to make sure they don’t continue to breed? Thanks
I'm curious, are you feeding the vegepod on a regular schedule, or is this all producing with what you started with, as far as nutrients? Lots to consider when getting these, especially up front costs.

The lebanese eggplant might like the kratkey method..What is the botanical name for this?
Enough to make smokey eggplant dip. We have been paying $10 a kilo for organic. Well done!

I will look for the Pods, whats the cover made of?
I like your videos thank you.
Marigolds?
Do you get lots of mature celery? .. is there enough room, or do you grow a small version of a celery? Thanks
Are you still using the vegepod?

Beautiful
Thank you KL 💚
Had no idea they like wet feet. No wonder I'm hopeless at growing eggplant.
Me too they usually hate our garden! I've found watering daily in a standard bed works, but who has time to do that 😅
I like the eggplants. Chinese dishes use this, not the fat big round skin one.
geez...... eggplant eggplant eggplant eggplant eggplant ..... :(
