The Shiketsu was originally just in the war to help defend the evacuation of the civilians out of escape tunnels at The coffin in the sky. They had to have shown up eventually to fight All For One at some point rock Lee. If not for them, the heroes would be finished for sure. What other way could've the heroes have to have the advantage?

If I remember Correctly Afo didnt bother with Tokoyami is cause his quirk is almost like another persona and would give him more problems that its worth and he is short on time. He dont have enough time to make the Dark Entity Submit. and Hawks is ok with retirment he aint gonn miss a beat.
I WAS a bit annoyed they never had Mt. Lady make use of the fact she insta-shrunk and grew. I wish they'd used Judo tactics on Machia maybe how stwing at nothing, then she could regrow and trip him up. She she wasn't an all-or-nothing character that was helpless as soon as she was up against something bigger. I hate when they do that to the ladies in shonen
Spoiler alert for full metal alchemist brotherhood: Idk why but hawks losing his quirk feels similar to mustang losing his eye sight. Obviously mustang still had his fire but brings me back to that feeling for some reason.

I think deep down AFO was deep deep down a bit "shook" by people with weaker powers stanidng up to him... and deep down he new Jirou's sound waves helped destroy his protective helmet. So the fact someone as seemingly low-tier as Mineta is standing up to him like that throws him off. Which is why I WISH that pop off he threw on him had a pay off later on T__T
They be giving All for One way too much aura in these episodes bro, I swear. Last time he was flexing on kids about his golden age while casually sending out nukes, then it ends with him getting brofisted, then THIS episode there's like 90% less mid-combat yap and he just bodies everyone. Turned into a young adult, boomed EVERYONE on the scene effortlessly (cut his own dog in half too) and only started rubbing his balls on their faces when he completely beat them. Had Hawks up in the air like he was about to be the victim of a Diddy party bro, roasting his quirk WHILE STEALING IT is crazy work 😭 The loss of his villainous voice is an L but I actually LOVE how they implemented his younger self in this episode. He acts drastically different, way more cocky and outrageously powerful, keeping almost none of the cold calculative feel we've gotten used to. It makes sense too, dude went from somewhere between 30-200 to like 17- 25 (visual guesstimation lol) so no wonder he's not thinking as much anymore. The way he looks around at people ''neutrally'' is an interesting part of his character design, he has the narrow eyes and slight thick dark lines around em to make him seem more evil, but his actual appearance with the blank eyes is kind of... cute? Innocent is a better word, I guess. Like a kid torturing a bug while not really comprehending what he's doing, which ties in with him being super childish and a comic book fan.
There is no end credit this episode. 17 had an end credit and we watched it. This has previews for next episode. Which we can just watch rather than spoil ourselves
